Hard to find
Arriving at the site around 11 PM posed a challenge in locating our reserved spot in the dark. However, the bathhouse was impressively clean and conveniently accessible, enhancing our overall stay.

Vienna Lager and Fried Pickles
Spot 105 was ideal for our Thanksgiving/Anniversary stop at Devil's Backbone for the night. We actually had our first date in Nov. 2014 at DB, so it seemed the ideal place to camp out for our trip down south.
We were solo in the hipcamp section in an end unit, but there was plenty of space, as far as we could tell, from the neighboring spots.
The bathhouse was an easy walk away from the campsite, even on a chilly November night.
Poor planning came in how we parked our vehicles, with our second vehicle blocking the beautiful surrouding morning view out the back of our campervan- which we will keep in mind for the next visit.
I'd say my only minus was when we arrived, since it was after dark, the signage was not fully clear on 105 being down a gravel path from 101.
Overall, great stay, and we made sure to grab a Lager sweatshirt, since we fell in love over Vienna Lager and fried pickles. Please bring back the fried pickles, at least in November.

Great spot! It's significantly bigger than the regular DBB sites and holds a bunch of people (and cars) comfortably. It's not super isolated from the other sites, but they're not right on top of each other either. It's only slightly farther to the bathrooms than the regular sites too. Overall I'd say it's worth it if you have enough people to make the price cheaper than the regular sites.

Great stay! Campsites are well spread apart for privacy.

Site was super spacious & walking distance from both Basecamp & the bathhouse. Gotta watch for an occasional hole in the ground, but otherwise, our stay was perfect.

My sister and I camped here for a few nights and had a great time. We were the only ones in the hipcamp section so it was nice and quiet and we could see tons of stars. This was a great basecamp for some day hikes (highly recommend Crabtree Falls) and we loved being able to walk to both the Devils Backbone brewpub and the Blue Toad cidery.
