The tiny cottage by the wood line on the back of this huge property is private, quiet and delivered an enjoyable rustic feel for us. Billy (the dog) literally guided our car all the way back to the rental. The host was amazing and responds promptly to any questions or concerns. The large fire pit was a great place for roasting hotdogs and s'mores. 10/10 would enjoy a return visit for a quiet, secluded rest.

I loved it! In all honesty, I wish the grass had been cut a bit more recently. It was extremely tall and hadn't been weed whacked in quite some time.
Otherwise, the overall experience was fantastic. Peaceful and quiet. Just what I needed.

Meadow Farm Cabin
We loved glamping a night here. It's is very quiet and remote, and the river at 30 paces distance. We loved cooking our dinner on the campfire. Everything you need is available.

The cabin was just what we were looking for. Simple, private and relaxing. We were shown to the site by a very sweet border collie who couldn't be more sweet. The cabin had everything you could want. Kitchen equipment, boardgames, firewood and plenty of cozy spaces to hangout in inside and out. We will absolutely be back.

Meadow Farm Cabin
The cabin was amazing! We loved the outdoor fire pit, wood stove and the loft space. It kept us plenty warm and cozy during the cold nights and mornings. The creek on the property was great to sit and read a book by or to splash around. It is probably pretty epic in the warmer months. It was super quiet and welcoming. The pit toilet was super clean and functional which was great. We really enjoyed our stay! Meeting Bill, the dog, was a real highlight for our kids!

The wood stove managed to get the cabin toasty. It was peaceful and the tiny cabin has a surprising amount of space. Best part was the tour guide Doggo. He was absolutely the sweetest dog I've ever met.

We absolutely love coming to the cabin. This was the second time and during a different season and it was equally serene and peaceful. The family is very friendly and helpful and cares a lot which shows. It is definitely becoming a little sanctuary for us away from the hussle and bussle of the daily life and a place of gratitude, peace and calm and spending time in nature, in prayer and with the Lord. Thank you for creating such a wonderful place.

This cabin was absolutely lovely. I cannot recommend it enough! The wood burning stove kept us cozy on chilly nights, and we got great sleep in the loft. The farm pup is adorable!! The kitchen was fabulous and had everything we needed. This was the perfect place to spend a birthday get-away. There were a few wasps and one did find its way into a sleeping bag, but that comes with being outdoors. The town nearby is lovely and the largest antique warehouse in the country is just down the road! Plus proximity to lots of hiking. We can’t wait to come back!

Meadow Farm Cabin
The cabin is so cute. My son who’s 3 loved it! He would go for a walk with his dad in the morning and cut some wood together, start fire together, also loved sleeping up on the loft. It was such a fun experience. Thank you!

Such a cool property! My wife and I stayed overnight to attend a wedding in Waynesboro and it was the perfect location. The land is beautiful and the cabin very comfortable. The wood stove kept us warm and the cabin was well stocked with supplies. Will definitely come stay again and probably bring out kids next time.

The cabin on Williams land had everything you needed for a cozy stay. Felt isolated and was a great spot to have a fire and spend time with friends. The stream was great for skipping rocks.

Cute cabin with a lot to offer! Dry sink and solar light inside, French press and propane two burner stove top with pots pans and cups. Nice fire pit area with picnic table outside.
Peaceful spot in the meadow not far from the creek. Cute black and white border collie kept us company during our stay

We stayed for one lovely night and had a great time. The cabin is very cozy with the wood stove and we had everything we needed. The out house was clean and not smelly, with a clever "toilet paper keeper," for extra tp.
The property itself is very beautiful. Lots of happy creatures live here. There's two little dogs to greet you. We met the first one on the drive in and he gave us an escort. Look out for cats in trees, too! There is also a little bird's nest above the door of the cabin.
Our hosts were very kind and considerate, and I thank them for wonderful experience and letting us stay on their beautiful farm.

This place is really really special. I stopped through for one night on my way from FL to RI and I have never felt more well rested and deeply restored getting back on the road for another long day's drive.
It's beautifully and thoughtfully constructed, snug, bright, warm once you get the sweet lil woodstove cooking (I had a bonfire outside and the got the woodstove going!) It smells so good in there, the stream wraps around behind and runs all along the meadow. Sunset, moonrise, blanket of frost, sunrise, moonset, all glorious. I would come back and spend a whole season there. Beautiful farm, great book collection. Very grateful these folks are sharing their very special place in this way.

Beautiful, private, well-stocked and full of adventure. Hiking and fishing on the property as well as Staunton and Fishersville nearby to explore…games, books, and puzzles in the cabin keep you entertained no matter the weather. The outhouse is in fine working order; there’s plenty of gatherable wood for the fire pit and they supply plenty of cut wood for the woodstove. The loft is easy to access and stays toasty warm, and the double-burner propane stove and Berkey water filter offer “glamping” at its best. An incredible experience!!

William’s cabin and land are just lovely. We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve at the cabin. The woodstove was such a treat, and the space was perfect for a quiet evening of board games and reading. The open field offers excellent star-gazing opportunities. We do hope to return!
