The Cedar Grove sites 1, 2, and 3 are along the banks of Passage Creek located within a sparse, groomed Cedar grove. They are all a short walk (or drive) to the lake and beach amenities. Each site has varying access to the creek, so check out the site details. These sites are extra large and can accommodate multiple family groups, as well as, travel trailers of all sizes up to off-road motorcoaches in site 1. There are no hookups, so just boondocking. Pack it in, Pack it out. Generators are allowed but please be aware of the other sites and direct the noise away. The Lakeside Mountain Stream site is very secluded, nestled between the mountains and the lake. It overlooks our 5-acre lake with mountain views in the background. It's on the opposite side of the lake from the Cedar Sites. This site has its own dock and is just a short walk down a mowed trail to a beautiful section of Passage Creek. An additional seasonal mountain stream can cascade behind the site and run under it to feed the lake when the conditions are right. There is a fire ring at each site and we provide a free bundle of wood to each guest with more bundles available for $4 each. A porta potty is also located on the property for our guest. We also have a large pool and small pool, a gathering yurt for groups and an event pavilion, a playground, and a jumping pillow is in the works! Weekend Trip to The Bluffs at Cedar Creek

A group of four of us stayed at this campsite over the past weekend and had such a wonderful experience! The entire area was clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The porta-potties were pretty clean, and there were a good number of them stationed out by the front. Firewood was delivered to us by Levi's daughter which was a nice touch. When she wasn't around, we could easily grab a crate of firewood ourselves near the front and pay by Venmo or cash. The firepit that we had at our campsite was great, tall and had great air flow holes at the bottom and a metal grate we could use for cooking. The provided picnic table was nice and very wide. The campsite felt peaceful when we were sitting by the fire at night. The river near our campsite had a good amount of activity with people coming to fish for trout (which the owner stocks with plenty) which means we didn't have complete privacy during the day. However, our campsite's overall atmosphere made it easy to unwind and enjoy nature. I would absolutely recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable outdoor escape. The location is perfect, only about an hour drive from Centreville, VA which makes the camping experience so much better we didn't have to drive far to experience some wonderful outdoors. Lots of sites to see in the area with hiking so we'll definitely be back to do more activities.

This camp sote was perfect for the colder fall weather. Not too much other campers, so we nearly had the place to ourselves. Yurt was the best feature, in my opinion. We got some rain both mornings and did not have to worry a bit. Got there late and were relieved we didn't have to set up tent and such. Campsite was nice with some easy water access you could rinse kitchenware off and even bath I can imagine during hot, humid summer months. Took a pair of waders just to fool around and discovered the creek bed to be relatively shallow. Take that as you wish with whatever activity you wish to pursue. Firepit was also decent, you could have a nice manageable fire. The only thing I would say that I would change different but cannot for obvious reasons is the train by the river. Pretty loud. Owner can't help it either, so he's at no fault. Other than that this is a great site.

The campsite was great for what we needed. Our dog enjoyed walking around the site and meeting the friendly horses. We're very low maintenance so it was a good match for our stay. The stars are super pretty at nighttime and the area is quiet enough to enjoy the camp. The locals were friendly and we felt very safe being here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Full Moon dome. 2 adults and 3 large dogs had PLENTY of space both inside and outside to rest and relax. We LOED watching the sheep outside the large dome window while drinking coffee in the mornings (French press provided!). There was plenty of firewood for the firepit and a propane grill nearby - we had such a peaceful experience. Highly recommend ordering some popovers and banana nut w/ chocolate chip muffins! We ordered the night before and Remy had them made and packaged in a wonderful picnic basket by 08300 the next morning! And while you're there, pick up some fresh grass-fed steak for grilling bringing home. Directions: site navigation was very easy. Custom road, parking, and site signs made it very easy to find the dome at night, All linens for both bed and futon are provided so we didn't need to worry about packing bedding/pillows etc Traveled in early November and didn't have any issues with bugs like mosquitoes or ticks. Compost toilet in the dome was such a luxury and easy to use. Tips/tricks: bring a bucket or bowl for gray water. You'll need a way to wash plates/utensils, french press, hands etc.

The prepaid firewood delivery option made it easy, and then being able to purchase more wood at the site ensured we were warm throughout a chilly weekend. This was a perfect camp site!! Went with my family & took our two dogs. The dogs had a blast, plenty of space while still having some fencing around to keep them from being too crazy. It was private and the stars were great. Host was wonderful, everything was easy to find, and the bathroom was clean. It was daddy long legs galore but personally if i had to pick one bug to see a bunch it would be them. Harmless and on items more than people. Overall a great trip!!

pretty property and great for our group! we rented both areas of the camping land, but we all camped at kitchen camp. be aware that cars cannot travel to the other camping area (with the gazebo), which makes loading and unloading more difficult. nice to have basic composting toilet available as well.
