Nice stay and accurate listing
We had a nice stay and found the listing/pictures to be accurate. The campsite had a picnic table, stone firepit (with firewood), hammock, and a solar-powered light string. Kelly was responsive to our messages before and after our stay.
The site is about 200 yards off of one of the primary roads used to get around the mountains, but the road wasn't particularly busy. While you could see the site from the road and hear the occasional car, it still felt private. The portable toilet is near the road, hence other reviews about the distance to walk to the toilet.
The ground was dry, and we were able to drive to the site. We had a little trouble finding a level area (the listing indicates "requires leveling"), and the ground was relatively hard, so worth a mallet for any tent stakes (which other reviews had mentioned, as well).
It was easy to start a fire, as there was plenty of tinder/kindling available to gather and the provided firewood was dry (although the firepit had trash from the previous camper; remember to leave it better than you found it!).
The babbling creek was a pleasant backdrop. Other reviews mentioned dogs barking during the night, but we only heard a couple barks.
A couple reviews had mentioned they didn't have service with Verizon, but we did with AT&T.
The location is close to Peters Mill Run (Jeep Badge of Honor trail), which is about 10-15 minutes away and can be completed in a couple of hours. The general store up the road sells day passes for $5.
