This is our family farm. It's used to raise livestock and grow fresh organic produce. Learn more about this land: Welcome to Faithful Harvest Farm campsites. We have opened our farm for camping. We have a level site to enjoy. Our farm is bordered on 3 sides by water. The campsite is located on Peters Mill Creek. The back of our property is bordered by passage creek. It offers peaceful and private fishing for trout, bass, suckers and several varieties of pan fish. Cool off in the summer with a dip in the cool clean waters or relax and read a book with the sounds of nature. You can enjoy the cows, horses and goats who love the attention! However we ask you let us know before trying to pet or interact with the animals because we do have a Livestock Guardian Dog inside the fence with them and she is very protective of her herd. In the spring and summer we offer for sale fresh eggs and organic produce to our guest. Our property is located in the heart of Fort Valley. We have miles of hiking trails all around. There are 2 horse back riding camps in the area to offer a beautiful view of our area on horseback. The activities are endless. Several excellent wineries are within a short diving distance. There is a fire ring at each site and we provide a free bundle of wood to each guest with more bundles available for $4 each. A porta potty is also located on the property for our guest. Please read the rules and recomendations posted at the site when you arrive. There is no lifeguard on duty, so you swim at your own risk. Although the creek is pretty shallow most of the time, we ask that if you have children, they are supervised at all times, especially around the water. Great place to relax, you get the place to yourself with no other campers around. As other reviews have said, there's just the sound of the water flowing in the creak. They greeted us to see if we need anything else and to make sure we knew the boundaries of the camping area. Made a great first impression for my first booking on Hipcamp. We'll be back here in the winter time.

We loved the site, the creek, the mountains & the valley! It was just what we needed to reconnect with nature, and having the creek at the site-& a porta-toilet …you almost don’t need to leave it! We had cell signal with t-mobile. Make sure you bring some sort of bug repellant- we had some tiki-torches burning the whole time and it helped a lot. The creek is beautiful and if you don’t take advantage of it you’re really missing out!!! We will definitely re book in the future!

We had a wonderful time here! Private and relaxing. The stream added a peaceful atmosphere. We loved spending time in the creek to cool off after long got days of hiking. We will definitely stay again!

Quiet, easy to access, lovely peaceful land, the sounds of the burbling creek at night were really soothing, nice firepit and wood provided. Fun to go say to the cows! Not much evening shade so recommend a tarp or cabana for the evening sun (but on the flip side, it is perfection in the morning).

We visited with two married couples, a 4yo, and a dog. The sound of the rushing creek right next to the camp area was heavenly. The area was a little tight for us with two pretty big tents and two vehicles, but we made it work. Owner was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the nearby hike and Swover Creek Farm Brewery was fantastic.

We had a good stay with Faithful Harvest! It was soothing to hear the sounds of the river and the site was private and lovely. The location was an easy drive to Shenandoah or surrounding towns for food and shopping. Would stay again!

What a serene and peaceful campground. Location is hard to find upon first arriving but once you locate it you’re good to go. We arrived during a rainstorm but happy to discover the ground wasn’t completely mud at that point. The running creek was the icing on the cake, falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of the water was amazing. I loved the seclusion and openness this site provided. The roads (both ways) are a great scenic drive into town. We loved driving through the national forest every day.

Cute spot on a nice stream the kids enjoyed playing in. A bit hard to find from the road for the first time, but that's really our only 'negative' if you even call it that. Host was very nice, respectful and even had a starter bundle of wood waiting for us (super nice touch). Site had enough shade to sit under while enjoying the stream and a comfy hammock for relaxing.

Liked that is only one site and therefore my dogs have plenty of space to run around . The toilet was a little further than a would like and it not practical at night Because of the season and recent rains there were tons of mosquitos but that is not something directly related with host .

Nice, private spot to camp for the night. Large field to let our dogs run around; the creek was unfortunately too low to let our dogs play in. Not really sure what could be done about it, but the mosquitoes and gnats were awful; probably wouldn't stay again for this reason alone. Also had a bit of trouble finding the place at night. There is a portable toilet a bit down from the campsite, but did not need it, so can't say whether it was clean or not. Overall, a decent spot to camp, but definitely bring your bug spray and maybe a fan to keep the gnats away.

Great site near so much. We came to hike, bike and paddle. The weather was so hot that we paddled and swam. Matt and his young daughter welcomed us warmly. They supplied fire wood, bucket to extinguish, hammock, picnic table and solar lights at the site. There is a port-a-john far enough away to never think about it until you need it. The field is expansive and attracts lots of creatures; we saw turkey, deer, indigo bunting and many other birds. Our Merlin app was picking up so many birds. They have a lovely path to walk and a swimming hole. Their cows are very friendly. We saw the horses and goats from a far. There were new kids that the pups were making sure were safe. You are able to see the sunrise and set. Lots of stars to enjoy as well. The market just up the street is incredible. We had breakfast, lunch and desert from there, all yummy. Best carrot cake that we have had in years. They also have the essentials. Great friendly owner and staff. The small towns that we stopped at have great food and local drink, Luray, Woodstock, Strasburg, New Market, Front Royal. We also really appreciate that there is just one site. We prefer to get away from the crowd when we camp.

Love the creek with flowing water and kids enjoyed catching crawfish, The owners are very nice and took time to chat with us. Field was flat perfect for field games, kids played baseball, soccer and frisbee. Surely, we won't hesitate to come back.

We had an amazing time romping around the creek during the hot afternoon. Everything we needed was provided, like the picnic table and fire pit. The views were beautiful with mountains, and horses in the distance. The cows across from the campsite were very friendly neighbors. Thanks for a rejuvenating time!

Had a wonderful time at Matt and Kelly's campsite. Having a porta-john on site was wonderful and very convenient. Loved hearing the creek while swaying in the hammock. Being the only site offered a lot of privacy. Planning to book our next trip soon.

This site was fantastic! Great view, peaceful site, surrounded by creeks and beautiful sunshine all afternoon. Our kids loved running around the field and relaxing in the hammock. We would definitely camp here again!

Camping on Kelly & Matt’s land was fantastic! They had a great stone fire pit right next to the creek, and plenty of firewood. Further down the property, they mowed a trail to a larger breadth of the creek, where we were able to wade and search for arrowheads and fish. The creek lulled us to sleep, and it couldn’t have been any more enjoyable! 30min to Front Royal to the north and the same to Luray to the south. Easy access to the country store for quick, good meals and fuel. We received a few passing storms, but the ground was well draining and very firm and we had no issues when pulling our 30ft camping out once we checked out. The host and family are wonderfully kind and we hope to be back soon!

First, I would like to thank Kelly & her family for having us on their property. We had a very nice time during our stay. While the campsite is next to a “spring” it’s very over grown and hard to access anywhere but where the owners cross from one field to another. There is also POISON IVY mixed in w/ the natural wildflowers & plants. Leaves of 3!!! Leave it be!! The campsite wasn’t exactly ready for us. The owner came over w/ a little bit of wood and a nylon hammock that was a little difficult to get in because I’m short and it was higher off the ground. The site is very rocky and pretty much dirt. The only grass is in the field. The walk to the porta John was ridiculously long.. it was clean. But the walk it just toooooooooo far. The road noise was also annoying most the time. Lotsa of locals w/ louder throttles.. love to hear themselves vroom vroom.. For the money charged I feel it could be a much nicer space to camp. We walked to the back were the main River is (much nicer area to camp, but owners say it floods.) but again it was to over grown to really access the waters edge for worry of water moccasins and other snakes. As I stated at the beginning the family is very nice. But we most likely wouldn’t stay again, I love to hike but not to the porta John.. and the road noise is an “X”… We were lucky enough to see a resident Eagle flying over and around the field. That was a nice plus. Happy camping y’all! :)

This property is beautiful. We have stayed here twice and always have an amazing time. The hosts are always very kind. The property is surrounded by creeks which allows you to cool off and fish. The campsite is shaded at parts in the day and allows you to enjoy the stunning views of the mountains and the valley. Would definitely recommend!
