Absolutely amazing place with a creek and views. Met the owner Levi and he was a super great guy. A small private campground with the amenities of a large one. I loved my stay and wish I could have stayed longer but after this visit I will definitely return.

I loved my stay here! The property is located on a huge property with trails throughout, which were great for me because I like to run every morning. I could run three miles without retracing my steps. There is a gorgeous trout stream with big pools, and I enjoyed cooling off after a run. There were several hikes I wanted to do but to be honest it was tough to leave the property. It's that good.
It's really quiet, which was great for my dog who gets nervous at big, busy campgrounds.
This little slice of paradise has a gem of human running it -- Levi. As a solo female traveler, it's really important for me to feel safe and comfortable. Levi was welcoming and helpful, answering questions about hikes in the area -- and even helped shuttle my vehicle downstream so I could float the North Fork of the Shenandoah.
I just adjusted my travel plans to stay here on the return trip later this month. I love to see new places but I plan to return every year.

Wonderful spot on a bubbling river. Super dog friendly. If you don't like the river you can take a dip in his swimming pond. Great firewood for sale on property. Even has a tiny stand for small things like eggs!
This place was amazing and I'll definitely be back. Great sites for all types of camping. Each site had water and electric hookups and most of them were along the stream which was great to cool off during the hot Summer. I setup my stuff along the water which was nice at night. It was nice and quiet during the week with not that many other campers and the weekends brought a lot of families and RVs that fill up the other sites. Plenty of hiking and scenic site within driving distance. Levi was great and very helpful. He's been in the area for a long time and gives great advise on where to go. See you again in the Fall.
We stayed here for two days in our trailer while hiking in Shenandoah national Park. It was a quiet campsite right next to the creek. Levi was very friendly and gave us information about local places to visit. We would definitely book again if ever in the area again. 100% would recommend!

This is not a single site. It’s a small campground with close sites and small cabins intermingled. When the owner realized that all of the sites around us had multiple dogs and we did too, he was very kind and moved us to a 5 acre plot by ourselves. The view was amazing, and we had a great time. Nice place with many things to do with your family. There is a small lake with beach sand and kayaks. My children loved it. Power and water available. Nice host. 100% recommend.

Super well kept and beautiful sites! Love camping next to the sound of the river so close. The little trash bag and treats area is such a great idea and the treats tasted great!
Was a little less private than we were hoping for but still enough space between sites. Would camp again! Cabins looked STELLAR too

The veiw, stream, pond and land here is absolutely fenominal! Beautiful farmland, makes you want to scream, God Bless America! Im so glad to find this place as a hip camper, I've met so many great people and places. Don't go here though cause I don't want you taking up my spot, LOL! Thank you! So peaceful, natural, spot to unplug and reconnect with what matters.
Levi is a great host and he has a really truly special property here. He went out of his way to accommodate us and made our stay really special. The area is beautiful with lots to do and The Bluffs are a fantastic home base.

We loved our camping experience in Star Tannery. This was my second visit and I'll be back again.
Host Levi was incredibly nice and welcoming. He stopped by later in the afternoon to check in and see if we needed anything, which was really appreciated.
I loved the campsite—it was clean and had plenty of room for our tent. You can park directly at your site, making unloading and loading camping gear extremely easy.
I didn’t do any fishing during my stay, but fishing is available if that’s something you’re interested in. Just a small heads-up—fishermen may walk past your campsite.
What I loved most about this place was the sound of the creek. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, especially after a long day.
I would absolutely come back to Levi’s campsite again.
Levi is a wonderful host!!! He has a beautiful land and property that suited our needs of getting some quiet time in nature. Tons of walking trails to discover, friendly fishermen, but Levi's hospitality is really what made this trip. He helped us figure out our camper, went out of his way to help us fix our truck, and gave us a tour of his farm! I can't say enough good things about Levi, his family, dogs, property, and the people we met on this trip. 10/10 we will be coming back
A group of four of us stayed at this campsite over the past weekend and had such a wonderful experience! The entire area was clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The porta-potties were pretty clean, and there were a good number of them stationed out by the front. Firewood was delivered to us by Levi's daughter which was a nice touch. When she wasn't around, we could easily grab a crate of firewood ourselves near the front and pay by Venmo or cash. The firepit that we had at our campsite was great, tall and had great air flow holes at the bottom and a metal grate we could use for cooking. The provided picnic table was nice and very wide.
The campsite felt peaceful when we were sitting by the fire at night. The river near our campsite had a good amount of activity with people coming to fish for trout (which the owner stocks with plenty) which means we didn't have complete privacy during the day. However, our campsite's overall atmosphere made it easy to unwind and enjoy nature.
I would absolutely recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable outdoor escape. The location is perfect, only about an hour drive from Centreville, VA which makes the camping experience so much better we didn't have to drive far to experience some wonderful outdoors. Lots of sites to see in the area with hiking so we'll definitely be back to do more activities.

Great low key place to camp. Plenty of amenities including toilets and water. The host was very hospitable and definitely made sure we were enjoying the site
Wonderful site with great RV hookups, lovely surroundings next to the river and Levi, our host was very responsive and helpful. This was a one night stay and we want to come back when we can spend more time on site.

Wonderful and relaxing stay at Bluffs in Cedar Creek! This was our second Labor Day here, site is extremely clean and well kept, there are clean ports potties on site as well as electrical hookups, water hookups and even a dump out station. There are only 8 sites with 6 of them in the river, so it’s pretty low key and not crowded at all. We spent most of our days playing around in the creek, relaxing in the shade with a book or having a softball catch with my daughters. Levi made his rounds to check on everyone daily and could not have been a better host! This place is fabulous!

We loved camping on Levi’s land. Our site was very quiet and peaceful. We were right on the water. There were deer grazing in the field behind us, it was beautiful. Levi was very friendly and welcoming. We will be staying there again soon.
Levi was very friendly and nice. We liked this spot. There were many activities for children.
But you just need to know that there is not just one spot, there are several of them and they are quite close to each other, so as not to be in confusion like we.

Camping at Levi's is a great mix of being out in the middle of nowhere plus the convenience of an established campground. You have way more room than at a state park but still plenty of amenities like bathrooms, firewood, and even cute cows!

We loved our time at Levi's! We were able to use the pond & all it's amenities - kayaks, trampoline, paddle boat, etc. The kids loved this. We visited Shenandoah NP while here & Shenandoah Caverns. All a short drive but worth it to not be stacked camper to camper in a RV park. 🙂
The Bluffs are a very quiet and friendly camp with a wonderful creek. We used it as an overnight stop on a five-day bike-packing trip from Arlington VA to Canaan Valley WV. All campsites were level, clean and overall pleasant. Very happy we stayed there..

My boyfriend and I had a great time at Levi’s! We tent camped and enjoyed listening to the stream all night. The river and the bluffs are beautiful, and it was so refreshing to swim for a bit. Everyone was super nice and friendly, and we loved seeing the cows!
