Wild Meadow #4
It was our first time camping and enjoyed every second of it. Clean bathroom! We had to leave a day early due to friend being in USCG and being called out due to hurricane Beryl but definitely recommend

Beautiful property and stay!
Exactly what we were looking for. Quiet place, good amenities including a nice walking trail. We enjoyed the fire pit and being greeted by the longhorns in the morning. Directions to find the site were easy to follow.

Love the animals
I had fun there, I like that they have a shower station and a decent toilet. The animals are calm and cute to see them walk around.
However, I wish there are a few trash bins around the area.

We had a great view, hiking was easy, and enjoyed the property and livestock. Our kids loved fishing the pond. Easy access and setup.

Perfect spot away from the city!
The property was beautiful and really easy to access. Felt super safe at night. Great ammentities between the fire pit, picnic table, shower, and bathroom that was CLEAN and had NO smell whatsoever. For our first time camping, we may have been spoiled here 🤣 the longhorns and donkey on site were also super friendly and curious, especially the donkey. Will definitely be coming back!

Perfect Getaway
Staying at the Longhorn Getaway for four days to view the eclipse and get some much needed R&R met our deepest needs.
We were secluded from the other campers yet we weren’t shut out. That means we had our privacy and also were able to interact with the other campers.
There was a walk to the restroom and shower, however, the hosts brought in a second restroom for our convenience.
It was easy to “hike” into the campsite. It was not far at all and we were able to drive back into the area to unload our gear (4x4 is recommended to do this).
Everyone was friendly and courteous, not only in the campground, but also in and around town.
