This sacred land is an oasis for healing in nature. It is undeveloped and solely used for private stays and small events/ ceremonies. You will feel a wave of comfort the moment you arrive. Secluded and private, find yourself connecting to the land with your friends, family, or yourself, here at Mandala Hills. Surrounded by oaks and cedar trees, you can relax in nature. The area has incredible sunrises and sunsets, so close to downtown but feels like you're far away in the country. There may be wellness classes being held further down the property. You are more than welcome to attend. Hiking, swimming, and kayaking are within a 20-minute drive! These destinations include Barton Springs, Lady Bird Lake, and Wildflower Centerlots. Art and food are close as well when venturing into Austin which is also only 20 minutes from our oasis. Other cities are not too much further with Johnson City, Fredericksburg, San Marcos, and Dripping springs being 45 minutes or less of a drive. A bit about us. We are a family of 4 who lives on the land next door. This is sacred Native land where you can feel the healing energy. You may even find an arrowhead. The host is here if you need them, but you are able to enjoy your solitude. Respect the land and the cabin, they are very special. This is not a party place, rather a place to just BE.Enjoy your privacy nestled on acres of juniper and oak trees. Take a breather from the bustle of life and hike the land, play games, grill, hang on the deck or patio, book a healing sound therapy session or a class in the yurt and soak in the wildlife and stars. You are within 20 minutes of downtown Austin, Dripping Springs and 30 minutes from Wimberly.

I loved how well thought out the place was! Even to the little face mask bottle by the tub, these things are not usually done. I definitely recognize that and appreciate it very much, it shows the time and thought behind it. The entire vibe of the cabin was perfect, it created a magical weekend for us and we wouldn’t change anything about it!

Anniversary Trip with the Pups

My husband and I spent two nights in The Getaway Cabin, celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. Our 2 dogs accompanied us, and we all had a great time! The cabin is small, but not "tiny" house small...perfect for a small group. Valerie has gone out of her way to make sure each space is well appointed, from the primary bed piled with comfy pillows to the various bath salts and bubbles to accompany you in the huge soaker tub! The kitchen is nicely stocked as well. The outdoor areas are wonderful! We enjoyed sitting on the lovely deck, as well as walking the dogs around the property. The property is quiet and peaceful.

Wow!!

Just a stunning place, with everything you could want or need for the perfect getaway. I felt like I was a million miles away, but just outside the city. All the best parts of a resort, camping, lodge... so special and I wish everyone could get the chance to relax like I have!
