Wow, I would stay here again
What a great spot to camp!!!!! The sites are in trees so if you want to use a hammick it would be perfect. There is a beautiful creek that runs by all the spots and it is the perfect white noise to fall asleep. There are very clean bathrooms very close to sites. It is just beautiful. The host was so nice and very accomidating!! A must stay. Perfect for motocamping and mountain biking.

Great location!
Very cool location, right at the base of the ski hill with a little stream about 15 feet from the sight- sleeping to the sound of water was great! The only thing to be warry of is the lack of privacy between sites. We were the only ones there, however if there were 2 other groups I am sure we would have seen and heard them clearly.
2 sites are truck camper accessible, one appears tent only.

Great getaway in the ADK foothills
For our fall trip to look at the leaves, this was a perfect stopover. The site is tucked away under tall pines in the center of the Snow Ridge Ski resort.
During our stay we were pleased to find that we were the only ones booked for the night, so it felt spacious and secluded. However upon further inspection there are 3 sites that are pretty on top of one another- so if you want to book thus place with friends it would be ideal to grab all 3 sites—otherwise there wouldn’t be a lot of privacy.
We like to be “out there” and have little to no interaction when we camp, so it would come down to preference!
The picnic table was super convenient and we enjoyed an awesome fire in the primitive fire pit :)

The site turned out to be about exactly what I expected. Site was fairly private and away from the road, and surrounded by open fields and hills from the ski resort. It’s very picturesque, and the bathrooms were clean and heated. We were the only group there for most of the week, and it was very peaceful, though the sites on one side of the creek are a bit close together. The last night we stayed, however, some friends of the owner came through in the evening to camp and work on constructing a half pipe not far from the site, so there were lights, music, and power tools going off until very late in the evening. They came over to us and told us to say anything if they were too loud, and I had to once before we went to bed, but also you would think that people might have common sense to stop running a power saw after 10pm. They also had a cement truck there at 9am the next morning. I’m going to attribute this experience to bad timing, and say that overall the experience was enjoyable, but not so much the last night we stayed there.

Great getaway!
This campsite was definitely a quiet and peaceful getaway for a group of work friends. A couple of the campsites are close together, and we had company the first day we were there. While in closer proximity, it was still enough distance so people weren’t tripping over each other. The other groups left our second day, and there was utter silence aside from us. The campsites are clean and pretty well maintained. My biggest gripe was a couple of tree stumps sticking out of the ground that I couldn’t seem to remember were there even after 4 days. However, if that is the worst thing to deal with, I really can’t say it’s much to complain about. The trees provide great privacy from the surrounding property, and the stream running through was good white noise to fall asleep to. I would definitely recommend this campground to others, and will more than likely be back.

It was a nice quiet space. Lots of room and plenty of nature to explore. My children loved the small creek to play in

Nice quiet camping
Perfect for the kiddos to explore. Next time we will rent all three sites for our family so we can have private camping. Neighbors weren’t the best behaved. The creek was smaller than I thought but still fun for kids. They loved the half pike too. We took a 6 min drive to the state park for a swim. Host was perfect. Sites were well shaded.

Nice stay right by the creek
We (two adults with a tent) stayed at this cozy campsite for two nights. We were the only campers when we got there and picked the site right by the creek.
We enjoyed our stay although we experienced some T-storms (nobody can control it!). A clean toilet facility and water access were big relief.
Location is also good. There are trails and water falls around.
The host, Nick was very proactive to send me necessary information well in advance. All accurate and we did not have any issue to find the site.

This site was lovely. Very well kept up with a very convenient bathroom. Perhaps slightly less private than expected but still private enough. Cute stream behind the sites and close to lots of other NY State Parks etc.

We had the site on the far side of the creek and it was perfect. Very large, close to the water and nicely shaded in the trees. 3-4min wall to the bathrooms.
Sites on the side of the creek are much closer together so get there early for the best pick.

Lovely spot by a tiny creek with easy access from the road. Clean, shady, comfortable. A little close to other sites, depending on which you get, but otherwise a comfortable spot. Clean bathrooms and good water. Crows will wake you up. Would definitely go again.

We really liked our 2 night stay here. The sites are clean, shady, and cool - perfect for the summer heat. The nearby restrooms are clean as well. The creek is not too deep, but good for wading, and easy to cross.
We stayed in the big site and had the place to ourselves. There were 3 other smaller sites across the river. I noticed that another review mentioned the sites were not very far apart, but the owner, Nick, only books 3/4 sites at a time, so you should always have some space between you and other campers. I have been at several state park campgrounds that were much less private and much less nice. Nick sent us really clear and helpful instructions about now to find the sites, overall we really liked our stay here!

We came for just a weekend bot entirely sure what to expect but after pulling in and parking, we knew we were going to absolutely LOVE it. The stream that runs through the sites is adorable and peaceful. The walk to the bathrooms is short and toasty warm inside! The sites were clean with a cute little fire pit. We were totally alone there and we couldn’t have asked for better! Our host was VERY helpful and gave us clear directions! I would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay, wonderful Creek, and large field for the dog to run around in. Gas station close buy for wood/ice run. We were slightly disappointed in how close the sites were, you are secluded from the road but not so much from other parties. All in all, we would stay here again!

Brookside Camping at it's Best!
These shall stone brookside sites on the western edge of the Dacks are tranquil and downright cool! The Host (Nick) was very responsive, accommodating and chill! Directions to the sites upon our arrival were spot-on. We easily maneuvered our offroad teardrop through the narrow openings in the dense pine grove. Stewart Shops is just minutes away and a day trip along the Moose River to Old Forge is a cinch. Don't skip this one hipsters🤫✌🏼

Amazing spot in the forest!
I would definitely recommend anyone to stay over here, I was by site #3, The spot is extremely beautiful, beautiful tall trees and a beautiful water stream. I felt very safe. My host Nick was extremely polite and help me for anything I needed. I would definitely go back for summertime!
