I had planned on coming back at some point but with one of the hosts “friends” bringing up politics, I’m not so sure. It was supposed to be a getaway weekend vacation and just ended up uncomfortable. My wife and I don’t care about politics and would rather stay far away from it, but this guy has 0 social skills. I don’t care who you’ve voted for, or who you plan to vote for, I’m just here to live my life in peace. To hell with the “Not my president” comments, I’m just trying to cook my burgers and chill, I don’t care about your feelings.
Besides that, it’s an interesting place, in a nudist colony with clothing being optional, I would’ve done it again just to see. If you can get past political talk with old naked men, this is your spot. Otherwise good luck.

The bare lake house was a blast! me and my girlfriend had a terrific time. Everyone is super welcoming and respectful. 10/10 would recommend. Btw people it's called BARE lake house, make sure to read the description if you're not comfortable seeing people booty bone naked :)

Love the nuthouse. Great place. Love the property Eric is a outstanding person as well evpeerybody else. Great host Great host. Was my first time there everybody there made you feel like you were part of the family. Very welcoming. Hope to go back soon

My girlfriend and I had an absolutely wonderful time at the Nuthouse! The hosts were so lovely and the cabin was so so nice! The bathroom was a bit under construction, but honestly better than most campground bathrooms! The lake was amazing to swim in, and the rope swing into it was an absolute blast! We'll definitely be visiting again!!

The cabin was nice and clean, but it was not clear from the listing that it is situated in the middle of a nudist camp. It was neither isolated or quiet so please avoid if you are looking for either. Everyone was nice enough and left us alone, but it was definitely a surprise to be fully surrounded by nudists. It made us feel uncomfortable and the experience was not fully consensual. I'm sure many folks would prefer to know the reality of this location

Rented the Nut house over the Memorial day weekend and what a Great experience it was even though it rained every day and it was cold. They put a heater in the room for us and let us know that if we choose to come and Hangout at Blakes Bed and Breakfast we were more than welcome. We choose to take our showers in the trailer down by the lake and left the camp to have our meals but all in all My Boyfriend and I made the best of the weather and just enjoyed being away with out much disturbance since there is not enough reception down there to make or receive calls. We would definitely go back and refer the spot to others.

The property and the cabin were great, and the hosts were as well, but their cats were the true delight of our stay.
The whole place was cute. Wish we had come in a warmer time but even with the cooling weather we spent both days outside and enjoyed the fire.

Great property with plenty of open space to explore and walk around or sunbathe in. There is a pond right next to the cabin for kayaking, swimming fishing. Everything was clean. Aric and Colleen were fantastic hosts. The kitchen, bathroom, shower were very close to the cabin. Cabin is well insulated and keeps warm at night especially if you use the heater in the room. Great place to also meet other travelers and nature lovers. Would recommend and visit again!

Colleen and Eric were excellent hosts, very friendly and hospitable. We had a blast skinny dipping in the lake and relaxing in the hot tub. Would highly recommend as a starting place on your Nudist journey.

We had a great time at the Bare Lake House, I host was extremely nice and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable during our stay there. While being a clothing optional location we never get uncomfortable during our stay. This is a great place to get away and relax

Aric was a kind and welcoming host, making sure our needs were met. I had missed that it was a clothing optional camp, which was surprising so make sure you know that before you go! Our cabin was immaculate and comfortable. The shared spaces (kitchen, bathrooms, etc) are under repair and a little messy. Otherwise good stay!

A relaxing and pleasant cabin next to a lake. The location is very quiet and the stars are clear and beautiful at night. We slept very well.

Was looking for a quiet night away with my boyfriend and pup so we booked this site and drove 4 hours to it. When we arrived at 5pm we were shocked to see that no one was home to greet us but a few pretty harsh dogs. We had no cell phone service so waited around for a bit before deciding to head back into town to try to figure out another plan. The main house looked old and creepy, so we opted to stay in a hotel where we felt safer rather than go back and wait for our host to arrive.

Aric and his wife were busy most of the holiday weekend, but he designated another guest to show me around. Everyone was very nice and a sense of community was very apparent. The location is very remote, a great breath of wilderness. Everything was VERY clean. Lots of fun things to do, and close to hiking trails.

Aric is the host of the The Nut House, which is located not too far from Corning, NY. He was a really friendly guy and was easy to communicate with via text leading up to our trip. His property includes not only a bed and breakfast where campers can get a meal the next morning for $7.00 but also a lake, a dock and an efficiency.
The efficiency is cute. It has a little porch off the front and is tucked into the woods so it’s shady on even the hottest days (we visited when it was 94 degrees outside!) and it was still cool inside. The inside has a queen size bed (linens and pillows are provided) and is really tidy. Though there isn’t a bathroom inside the efficiency, there is a shower, flushing toilet and full kitchen just a short walk away.
Also on the property is a vintage bus that’s now dubbed the “Love Bus” as well as a couple mobile homes and outbuildings. You can drive on down to the efficiency or park up near the bed and breakfast like we did and walk on down.
It’s important to note that this property is also clothing optional. Though we visited on a day when Aric and his family were having a birthday/Father’s Day party and everyone was clothed, you have the option to bare it all out here on his property.
If you’re looking for a getaway that’s clothing optional and on a lake, give this one a look!
