We had a family reunion and there was plenty of room for all of us to be together. When I realized I had forgotten 1 tent for the last arriving family the camp was able to provide 1 at a very nominal fee. Also, the community kitchen was a very nice addition as well. We will be back.

I had the best time. I stayed for two nights. I cooked my meals in the camp kitchen and drank my herbal tea from the mug I got in the camp store. Super easy to find and check in when I arrived. Loved the beautiful land so much. The river was delightful. Easy to access swimming hole and a dock to jump off made it so fun. I hiked around a bit and got to engage with other rad visitors (this place attracts amazing people). The best thing tho? The river facing outdoor shower situation. That was gorgeous and made me so happy. Am planning to return before the end of summer for more time on this magical land. Highly recommend

The trailer was conveniently located on the property. Close to all the amenities (bathrooms, showers, sauna, tea house, generously sized shared kitchen, drinking water fill station but not too close. And river access! The bed and bedding were perfectly comfortable. It was nice having power to charge phones and boil water. Didn’t use the gas stove. If I had there were plenty of basic kitchen wear’s to do so. Would have liked if the mini fridge worked but the walk in shared refrigerator did the trick. Room for improvement…the area around the trailer and under the shelter over the table (very handy) was loose powdery dirt (Stayed in mid/late July). Some sort of ground covering, at least around the table and trailer entry would go along ways towards eliminating tracked in dirt and dust. Would stay in it again. Definitely going back to the property in some format.

Our experience at Cedar Bloom was exceptional. The campground, curated by Mea, is secluded and enveloped by majestic trees, creating a tranquil atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the serene lake, where we spent hours floating, as well as the unique experience of outdoor showers and the relaxation offered by the tea house.
We wholeheartedly recommend this campground. Our grandsons are already making plans for a return visit next year. We extend our gratitude to Mea for hosting us.

My friends and our kids had a delightful time at cedar bloom. The river was idyllic, the dome was peaceful and we loved the decor. Adding a photo shoot to the visit checked our family portrait off the list and gave us a way to remember the experience. It was a calm and restorative getaway; we all enjoyed unwinding, decompressing, and connecting with each other in a beautiful place.
Next time I will make use of the kitchen facilities, we look forward to another stay at this amazing property!

Several mom's ventured together to this place from Humboldt for a few days, and we all absolutely loved it! One family rented the big dome, so we all congregated around them and camped. Our kids had a blast! The grounds are well kept, very spacious, peaceful, and shaded. It's quite a magical place! The river spot is so wonderful: clean, perfect temp (late July), wildlife (merganser family, baby turtle, schools of fish), deep stretches to swim "laps" and jump off low rocks. Some of us rented kayaks for the kids, blew up floaties, brought masks and goggles, so we had endless fun in the sun and water all day. The community kitchen was stocked and well appointed. We loved the zero-waste practices put in place here. If you are uncomfortable with pit-style, modern composting toilets and walking some distance to get to bathroom & kitchen, it may not be for you. Bringing a bike or finding a site closer to the community amenities is recommended. The ice machine broke during our stay, so the community walk-in fridge was a great backup option. We hung yoga hammocks, played music and sang together, watched a meteor shower in one of the open fields and listened to sounds of night wildlife. So peaceful. Everyone loved the outdoor shower overlooking the river, the sauna, tea room, and quiet guests...It was truly a retreat.

Such a lovely area of land with plenty of shade and sunny areas. I loved the community kitchen and tea house. The shower hut was clean and the water was hot. I was very impressed with the composting toilets. They were clean and I appreciated the backflow of air to reduce any smells inside the stall. The signs pointing out poison oak were useful to help us better identify it. The river access is incredible. We will definitely be staying here again with more friends in the future!

Amazing calming space. The Gnome Dome was cozy and perfect. With ample space around making it feel private and quaint. The swimming hole is majestic. The amenities make all the difference, access to the commercial kitchen, running water, showers and smell free compostable toilets. We will definitely be back!

My family and I loved the tent camping very beautiful spacious clean land and many spots to choose from the picnic table was a plus ! The directions to both swim holes and showers saunas was all so clear ! We loved it and can’t wait to come back !

I’ve camped here before but the A frame was pretty cute. I wanted to stay longer! The bedding was nice too and we enjoyed the morning with the big side door open.

The river water is amazing and land is beautiful! The tea house is calming. There is a communal kitchen and fridge. Label your food for the fridge. The Toilets are not very centralized and a lot of wasps when you picnic. Other than that, it’s a great, safe place to stay!

The swimming is as great as I’ve had in Oregon. The place is a vibe, my vibe. We felt happy and free and celebratory our whole time there. Taking meals in town is a few minutes away. Can’t wait to return. The people were so friendly and kind. Thank you, Samantha. You saved us. Next time we’ll try an A-frame or the huge and gorgeous dome. Go down to the river to stare at the stars. As my Brazilian wife says, it’s an extravaganza!

Forest Gnome Dome, Cedar Bloom
I stayed at Cedar Bloom with my 12 year old as a stop on our West Coast road trip and it was one of my favorite parts of the trip. The Gnome Dome was cute and cozy and worked well for travelers without camping equipment. We swam in the river and used the best outdoor shower I ever experienced. It had a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere and was all around lovely.

Gorgeous site with amazing amenities! We loved the teahouse, kitchen, shower, and swim spot. A great experience and would recommend to anyone. Pricey for camping, but totally worth it!

Beautiful property with many touches connected to themes of slowing down, healing, and living in balance with nature. The dome was huge. The river with deer roaming along it, the cozy tea house, and kind humans made this such a special part of our trip.
