Can I just say wow!
Dew Valley Ranch is one of the best glamping experiences I've ever had. The yurt, the bed and heating blanket. Shower towels, hot tub towels, and a thing to warm water, a fire pit and a super cutely decorated out door seating and eating area. We had a shower at our site with its own water heater, and a private bathroom. We had access to a hot tub, a sauna, and so many hikes. They have super cute goats, chickens, and a horse on the property that love people. I would highly recommend this ranch. And can't wait to stay again!!

This Hipcamp exceeded our expectations. Super cute and magical. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub, plus the outdoor showers were nice and warm. The Hobbit House really felt straight out of the shire, and the lights at night made it super cozy. You can tell the hosts put a lot of thought into the place as well as its amenities. 10/10 would stay again

What an incredible spot, do yourself a favor and check out the hobbit house with its delightful skylight to stargaze or wake up to the trees surrounding you! Wasn’t expecting own bathroom or for it to be so secluded. Lovely breakfast as well.

Octopus campsite/sauna
Dew Valley Ranch is spacious, quiet, ringed in trees, with plenty of open space- near enough to town and the coast but quiet. Our campsite was big, with lots of space for 2 tents. The composting toilet was immaculate, the open-air showers had great hot water pressure, and the farm animals made for amusing interactions. Heather was a great host- with easy and clear communications.i hope to make it back to the South Coast someday and will stay at DVR!

I love staying here. The sites are private and quiet. When you get done exploring the area, you can come back relax in the peacefulness of your site or play a variety of outdoor games in the common area.

Absolutely loved staying at Heather’s property on Dew Valley ranch nature retreat! She & her husband
were so friendly & helpful. Fast responses to all questions asked with Hipcamp app. All the reviews are super accurate. My daughter and I stayed at the Octopus site. So close to the soothing hot showers, sauna, games & red barn which had instructions, history on the animals & their care, they had firewood for sale & other items such as cooking tools or coolers for use if you forgot something. The private compost toilet on our site was a major plus & impeccably clean. All the animals so friendly & fun. They also let you use their 2 bikes to roam around their property & to see the sites. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to return!

We had the most wonderful girls trip! It was the perfect balance between giving us the “getting away from it all” vibes of a good camping trip, while still feeling safe and not too isolated. The grounds were charming and it was fun to watch the horse, goats, and “Hamburgler” wander around the property. The facilities were clean and we felt pampered by the sauna after our shower under the open sky. Heather & Nathan were the nicest people and we joined them for breakfast on their tree-top patio one of the mornings we were there. The food was amazing (better than what we would have had in town!) and we highly recommend asking them about their travels — they have some great stories of their adventures! They are knowledgeable about the area and helped us find a really cool spot to take out our paddle boards when we were worried about the wind on the Coquille River. All of these details culminated in a trip that was exactly what we needed and we’re already talking about making it an annual pilgrimage!

This was my first time using hipcamp and it was seriously amazing! I stayed at the mushroom site with my best friend and it was super private, we didnt see anyone the whole time. It’s a walk to get to the showers but it enhances the experience tbh. super beautiful property and the hosts were so so kind! they even had bikes for us to use.

Our stay at Dew Valley Ranch was the most peaceful camping experience we have had in a long time, aside from backpacking! Although it was the 4th of July weekend and it was supposedly pretty filled up, we rarely saw or heard anyone. We went to sleep only hearing the sound of the distant waves and when we woke up the first morning my husband said, "Listen to that. All we can hear are birds, and they're songbirds, not crows. No voices, no bikes zooming around, no dogs barking."
The Bumblebee campsite suited us well. It was on the "outer" loop with one other campsite and a cabin (both out of view and a good distance away). It was surrounded by trees but had some sun come in to warm us during the day. The composting toilet was impeccably clean and the dishwashing station and warm showers were much appreciated. The view of the trees and the blue sky above the showers were an added bonus!
The owners have done a fantastic job here and are great hosts! This will be our "go-to" when we visit the southern Oregon coast from now on.

Dew Valley Ranch was an amazing place to stay and we will definitely be back. The hosts were extremely accommodating and friendly. We stayed in the Knappin Haus and it felt like you were at your own private retreat. Everything was clean and looked great. The included breakfast was delicious.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dew Valley Ranch. The Hobbit house was adorable, comfortable, clean, and unique. The entire ranch was clean and well cared for. Heather and Nathan obviously paid a lot of attention to detail in setting up the campsites. We enjoyed walking around and seeing all the unique spots available. There was also a fabulous breakfast option. We hope to visit again soon.

We loved camping here! Heather is an incredible host and this property is thoughtfully laid out and well cared for. The campsite was awesome. We were in our campervan and it was perfect. The composting toilet is very clean and the outdoor shower is really nice. We were on a trip for mountain biking. Whiskey Run is not too far from the property and it's nice that you pass through town on your way to the trails if you need to grab groceries or a coffee, etc. The animals at Heather's are adorable and we loved sitting out with them each evening. (Even though we have goats of our own!) We will most certainly be back.

Dew Valley is absolutely beautiful! The campsites are far apart and very private, especially Mushroom, and the goats and the yard games are a lot of fun. The outdoor hot showers and sauna were super nice on a drizzly day! Heather and Nathan are the nicest people and make sure your trip is a great experience. Can’t wait to go back!

The Huckleberry was so charming! Quiet, peaceful and relaxing stay with a hot tub, and 2 fire pit options. The host’s were so kind and attentive. A delicious breakfast was served out on the deck of the amazing property. We enjoyed watching the chickens, goats, horse and pig in and around the farm. Highly recommend this place and hope to return in the future.

I highly recommend staying here! The retreat is well-located, but tucked away, and this particular camp site is great! It's quiet, spacious, and private, and the composting toilet was really clean! I liked meeting and chatting with Heather for a bit when I got there. And then I got to meet other guests who return year after year; I hope to be like them and return one day myself!

This was a perfect get-away for my husband and me. It was quiet, peaceful, and private. But it was also so friendly! Our hosts were lovely to talk to and made an amazing breakfast (optional by request). This was more than glamping. We even enjoyed a dip in the hot tub. The hosts have taken care to make their accommodations comfortable and welcoming.

My time at the Hobbit Hole was beautiful, relaxing, cozyn and ir felt remote while still being close to town! All the information you need is provided upon arrival at check in and in your cabin. You will be kindly welcomed by the hosts when you arrive. Once you know the process of the gate, it is easy to get in and out when it is locked. I really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and showers; they were perfect temperature! The cabin is clean and warm (has a heater) and you don't need to bring sheets, they are provided! I am glad I brought my own personal blanket for use outside by the fire pit. If bugs like you, bring some deterrent for the skeeters. If you plan to use the fireplace, it is helpful to bring or create (out of firewood you brought or bought) your own kindling. Luckily, I had a lantern for outdoor use to walk to the hot tub in the dark. It can be hard to see the pathway behind the cabin without one. Ifelt safe and comfortable here. This was the perfect stay. Enjoy! It is worth it. 🙃

The Aldridges hit was wonderful! Privacy, charm, comfort, serenity: all as advertised! Will definitely be coming back to the yurt or any other of the great cabins or campsites. We also appreciate Heather and Nathan’s warm hospitality and good humor. It’s nice to stay somewhere you feel welcome!

Wonderful spot for privacy, quiet, birdwatching and relaxing! We saw dozens of bird species on the lovely wooded lands, on which we were free to roam. We slept soundly in quiet interrupted only by owls, frogs and the distant sound of the ocean. The private composting outhouse was a real bonus and the hot shower was an amazing treat. The hosts really know how to do it right -- they provided everything you could need and were nice, scarce and attentive to servicing the outhouse when we weren't around. Extra bonus in the sweet horse, goats, pigs, chickens and guinea fowl roaming. Delightful get away!

I love this place! I’ve stayed twice and the sites are quiet and private. I love the outdoor showers and the animals. If I had kids, I would definitely bring them here. Heather and her partner are kind and helpful. You are close to everything in Bandon but feel like you’re off the grid.

Check in/out was so simple and the hosts were extremely helpful!
I was also extremely impressed by the outhouses. They were by far the cleanest and nicest compostable toilets I’ve ever used. Each site had their own private outhouse. The shower and dish wash station were also clean and easy to use :)

Jellyfish knoll was a great site. It is a big open site surrounded by trees and away from the other sites so lots of privacy. The hot outside showers were awesome and clean. From the site, they are a little farther than other sites but I didn’t find it to be an issue at all. The composting toilet at the site was spotless and a great convenience.
This was a lovely spot with the quirkiness of free roaming farm animals. I absolutely recommend staying here!

The site, location, and hosts were all amazing! We loved the privacy, private bathroom and shower, coziness of the hobbit house, fire pit, nighttime lights, decorations, and so many other aspects of the stay! The site requires check-in between 4 and 8 PM, which can be tough driving a long distance in traffic, but the check in and check out processes were super easy and the hosts communicated great. We unfortunately were having too much fun we failed to put in our breakfast order the night before leaving, but are sure it would've been great. We hope to return next year!
