Treehouse

This place had a nice little swim hole at the end of the dirt road going through the property. It also had a nice deck to hang out on. There was bed linen, dishes, a propane cooker, a pot, a pan, and a mini fridge. You do have to walk to the composting toilet out-house. FYI for the females. Travis was a great host though. He made sure to answer any questions we had. He also takes people rafting if you’re interested in stuff like that. The dog just had puppies and my kids loved hanging out with the puppy they kept and the mother. There’s also a shower they built under the tree house.

Treehouse

The treehouse is a really cool structure, and the porch of the treehouse was a wonderful place to hang out, but definitely the nicest location on the property. The rest of the property was not well kept, and there was an abandoned single-wide trailer full of trash right next to the treehouse. We never met the owner, but we did meet his daughter (I think) who was very nice and polite. There were lots of people on and off the property while we were there, which felt a little weird. We tried to go down to the river, but there was a school bus parked near the trail with two barking dogs in it, so we didn’t feel comfortable exploring down there. Overall, it was cool to hang out in the treehouse (my 5-yo really loved it!), but for a total price of $191 for a night, the property was way too run down and sketchy feeling. I would stay there again for $45 total
