Cedar Bloom

157 sites ¡ Lodging, RVs, Tents100 acres ¡ Cave Junction, OR
Cedar Bloom was purchased in the spring of 2017 by Spirit Weavers Gathering as a place of peace and healing, for all walks of life. Spirit Weavers is an annual women's gathering which happens once a year each June. We host over 1,200 women in just two weeks on the land. Our beautiful forested land is located in Southern Oregon, in a small town off the 199 Redwood Highway. The land which we call home is 100 acres of beautiful protected forest and sits upon a mile of the Illinois River. We are very fortunate to be surrounded by a widely diverse population of flora and fauna. As caretakers of this sacred land, we feel a strong responsibility to honor our plant and animal allies by not only protecting them and their habitat, but also to help educate others about what lives and grows here by providing people with opportunities to experience the beauty of these plants and animals for themselves. For this reason, We are honored to host the many different groups who will gather here on this land for learning and communing with the nature that flourishes here. We feel very fortunate to be involved in this process of helping promote a sustainable and abundant future for all living things on this planet by sharing knowledge and skills from the human past that can make a sustainable lifestyle a reality for everyone everywhere. This is our home and we are happy to share it with you!

Forested creekside campsite

1 site ¡ RV, Tent72 acres ¡ Grants Pass, OR
Hey there!  I'm a single dad with 2 teen-kids, medical professional, who enjoys country living and sharing it with others.  I've lived in far-Northern CA and Southern Oregon my whole life, except for school/training, so State of Jefferson is my home.  We bought this land in 2017, when it was just brush, poison oak, and a rotten bridge.   Learn more about this land:Campsite on 72 acres along beautiful Jumpoff Joe Creek.  Shaded, adjacent to romantically lighted timber-frame private covered bridge (no traffic).  Very secluded, but only 1/2 mile from I-5 (no freeway noise, though).  Private "beach" area and kid-friendly water play area with wild creatures (turkey, deer, fish, crayfish, water striders, turtles, frogs, etc.). Picnic table, tent spots, and fresh water spigot.  Short hiking trails (watch out for poison oak!).  Best for tenting, smaller RV's, tree tents, or rooftop tents.  >100 yards from nearest structure. 3 nights max except by private arrangement.    NO smoking/vaping/marijuana.  NO wood fires, but propane fire-ring is available -- bring your own propane tank or pay $5 extra to use my propane tank if available.  Good cell service from Google Fi/USCellular.  WiFi available on porch of owner's house by request.

Creekside Campground

4 sites ¡ RVs, Tents5 acres ¡ Rogue River, OR
Hi we’re Lindsay and Tommy, we are in our third season of being Hipcamp hosts and we want to share our beautiful property with campers looking for a quiet, cozy, family oriented experience. We took our love for the outdoors to the next level a few years ago when we moved out to the country. We think we found a gem of a spot on Evans Creek in Southern Oregon. Our years of camping adventures in dispersed countryside, state parks filled to capacity, and private campgrounds has given us a unique appreciation for the outdoors and an outlook on family camping you just might enjoy. We always enjoyed the camaraderie and kindness that we found with fellow campers; so we just figured, why not make our own campsites and share them with like minded folks and families. We love it here, and we hope you will too. In this third year we have made some changes to our campground. We have removed site #3 because in order to offer a truly different campground experience, we want to limit the amount of campers that are here and by removing this site, the remaining sites all are neighbor free. Enjoy your campfire, enjoy your view, enjoy some space to yourself. We feel that less people in the camp ground is easier for families as well. Hope you enjoy your camp spot! We are located in Evans Valley just 5 miles off interstate 5. Our Property boasts of mature shade trees along Evans Creek, tranquil locations on the creek bed and a plethora of wildlife year round. Our secure, family friendly location is perfect for a road trip stop over or as a base camp for your other Southern Oregon Adventures. All sites have their own access to the Creek - so no one will be going through your site, and all campers have access to the common areas without going through your site either...so rest easy, and relax at the Creekside Campground. -Things to know before booking- Our mission is to provide a safe, quiet, fun, and family friendly camping experience. Please review the rules section carefully and make sure the experience you are looking for lines up with what we are offering. Drunken behavior, drug use, and partying are not part of what we offer and that behavior will be removed immediately (luckily, we have not had this situation, we just like to be very clear on our expectations.) Swimming Hole! Our property has one of the best private swimming holes on Evans creek and stays cool most of the summer (depending on mother nature); the creek is always a favorite to put your chain in and relax with your feet in the water. Shallow and deep areas are fun for all age groups. Watch out for wildlife! Elk, deer, eagles, heron, turtles, ducks, and geese (to name a few) are regulars to your campsite. A covered wash station is provided for giving those wiped out dishes a final rinse. Water spigots with delicious well water are provided at each camp spot. Trash can and a porta-potty (serviced regularly) is tucked away in the common area. Horseshoes is set up for anyone to enjoy, and feel free to bring your own yard game activities. Our large open meadow, available for all of our campers, is about an acre of fun for stargazing, softball, bocci ball, frisbee, catch, and hanging out. Also we have a shady game area set up next to the meadow under the oaks with corn hole, giant jenga and some water misters to beat the heat - enjoy as you will! All sites have the option to add a tent and additional people, just check out the "extras" when booking. If you want to keep up to date with all things happening at the Creekside Campground, like special events, projects, upgrades, and of course wildlife be sure to follow us on Instagram @creekside_hosts Whether your floating the Rogue, wine tasting, mountain biking, ziplining, or passing through on a family vacation, we have the safe, spacious, campsite for you, your friends, and family. Hope to meet you soon.

Wild Azalea Eco Camp Spend much needed quality time with nature and unwind at Wild Azalea Eco Camp. Our beautiful 5 acre Permaculture homestead at the gateway to the Rogue River, features everything required to get away, relax—unplug; yet near enough to plenty of outdoor activities, river adventures, and the quaint small town bustle of downtown Grants Pass. Bryon's Art One of the things you will notice when you look around the Camp - is ART - art on banners, window stickers and magnets. Barbara's son Bryon was the creator of this art, art that you may have seen at festivals or in stores or decorating yoga and spiritual Centers around the country. Bryon shared this land with his mom until his death at the end of 2022, and she celebrates his life by sharing a small taste of his art with you. (coming soon) - 10 min drive to mid-sized Grants Pass- with its lovely shops, theater, interesting restaurants/cafes (we have Dominican Caribbean, an all American vintage ice cream bar, and sushi :-) ) county parks, playgrounds, a skatepark, and other amenities. - 10 min. to wilderness, Rogue River and rafting, hiking, fishing, kayaking, birding, mushrooming - Easy 10 min trip to I-5 Freeway. 20-45min drives to Ashland (for the Shakespeare fest!) and lovely towns of Jacksonville, Rogue River, and the city of Medford. -  3 min. Peace (Shalom) is what you will find on our property. We have two wonderful listings on this 1 1/2 acres of shady trees, cool, quiet mornings and precious wild life. At the time of writing this, we have a momma and her two fawns, a young buck that likes to rest behind our shop, three different turkeys with their young ones in tow, song birds galore, lively grey squirrels and the occasional bunny running through. Most of them love to come to our apple tree where we always leave them water in the summer. People who have stayed here always rave about the beautiful and idyllic setting. We are just getting started on HipCamp, but we have lots of great reviews from Airbnb and Vrbo if you want to check out what others have said. Just look up our properties under the same heading we have here on HipCamp, but make sure you come back and reserve it here! :)
