Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

Our location gets ample sunshine most days and is surrounded on 3 sides by a forest of trees. The property is fenced and access is by gate. There are two seperate campsites which are separated by our central garden and bamboo plantings. There is very little street traffic before 9 AM and after 4 PM Mon-Sat. Sundays are quiet. Both sites can use the portable toilet and outdoor shower. We keep it clean and odor free for a sanitary camping experience. Bring your bikes, boards and outdoor gear! Many adventures to be had here on the central coast. Your hosts are avid surfers and cyclists and can help direct you to the best spots to match your skill level. The property is close to town as well as bike loops, gravel roads and trails. We're also close to the beach. Within a short drive surfers of all levels can find something fun to ride nearly everyday of summer and fall. The 18 hole golf course is just down the street from the property and the town of Waldport is 2 miles away. Yachats is a short 12 minute drive to the south where you can find amazing restaurants where they serve fresh roasted coffee along with a large menu of drinks and treats at places such as The Green Salmon Cafe. White sand beaches are located just down the hill from us where you can walk all the way from the mouth of the Alsea river to the mouth of the Yachats river. Forested and easily accessible walking trails are also nearby. South of the property is Cape Perpetua - a natural wonderland with whales, tide pools, blowholes and a 26 mile trail system. Cornerstone Ranch is a pristine Ranch of about 500 acres on the Rogue River and against the Pacific Ocean offering too many experiences to count. You can even bring your horse... FYI, Hipcamps map for site locations is not correct. Two go next to the driveway and the other four follow the creek. From the South GPS is very accurate to our driveway. Coming from the North, GPS may drop you a few driveways away as that is the property line. Keep driving about another 1/8th mile until you see the large red "Cornerstone Ranch" sign. That is our driveway. Welcome... The ranch offers 6 different campsites. Campfires are allowed (outside of burn bans), and there is a toilet in off season and Port-A-Potties during the summer on site as well. Reviews from guests: "During the night we could hear Elk and the nearby nature! When we woke up we got to visit with the horses, use the really clean port-potty, and chat with Bonnie and Chris the Hosts. They have tons of recommendations, but our favorite was the Indian creek cafe across the river. The areas so great and clean and the host cares about their guests! Would recommend!"

Grassy mowed area along the Sixes River on our cattle ranch and cranberry farm. We provide an outdoor shower and composting toilet shared by the 5 camp sites. The shower water is filtered water from a shallow well, but bring water to drink. This campsite lies about 1 mile from the pacific ocean at about 15 feet elevation so it will be cooler than inland camp sites. I believe we are the closest camping to the south side of the Blacklock Hiking Trails. Also next to the Cape Blanco State Airport. (call if you want to fly in and get transport to and from the campsite). Access Road is a single lane in and out (gravel, dirt, and grass). Any towed trailers need to be pulled by a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle to climb back out (in and out procedures for trailers will be provided) Bring a fishing pole or a kayak. Sea-run trout are in the river during the summer (no motorized vehicles allowed in the Sixes River by law. No motorized vehicles in campsite besides automobiles by rule.) - Please be accurate with the number of guests in your party. River View is located in Glenada. No bathroom or running water, but there are 2 electrical plugs (110V and 220V) available at the pole. We have a free-range farm atmosphere, with 2 kids, 2 large dogs, 2 cats, and 12 chickens. We allow Hip Campers to bring animals on the property with the understanding that they are not allowed in the tiny house and that they are good around children and other animals, as our kids and pets are often running around the land. We have firewood and fresh eggs for additional fees. THERE IS NO TOILET on the property. This is not a tent camping site unless you bring your own portable toilet set up. No smoking in the Tiny House. This rustic property is close enough to Hwy 101 and downtown to be convenient, but far enough away to enjoy all the wildlife the Siuslaw River has to offer. Bird watching at its finest! Not to mention the view of Old Town! This little slice of rugged heaven is just above the Siuslaw River and right off of Hwy 101. There is a steep gravel driveway, but once at the top, it is flat, and the view is pretty amazing. From camp, you can see Old Town. Gaze down at the Siuslaw River and all the wildlife that comes with it! We regularly see deer, red-tailed hawks, ospreys, and bald eagles. We have also had a bear that passes through, so beware of leaving food out. There are plenty of places to hike and visit nearby dunes, rivers, lakes, parks, and the ocean. Enjoy Florence's amazing food (ask the host for her favorites). It is quite an "up and down" walk to Old Town for dinner, or you can bring back take-out and eat it in the tiny house (no electricity or running water). Take a short walk to Prichard State Park for clamming or just relax with a book and feel the breeze off the river. Whatever you enjoy, we’re sure you can find something close by!

5 acres out in county with fruit trees and some animals. We are 6 miles from the beach and the dunes. Coos Bay is the gateway to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, a 40-mile stretch of coastal sand dunes extending from Florence to Coos Bay. Our property is setup for RV campers only. You are welcome to bring your trailer with ATV, we just don't allow riding on our property. Sites are fairly level but they are on grass, so may require a bit of leveling.

Camp Paradise Creek is located on fifty-five sprawling peaceful acres nestled in rural central Oregon. Pitch your tent along the secluded Paradise Creek or bring your motor home. There are three RV spaces with 30- & 50-amp hookups plus 120 outlets as well as water. We are a short hike or bike ride to the colliding Umpqua River for canoeing, kayaking or fishing. Enjoy the rich biodiversity of the Umpqua Valley which includes the famous Elkton Butterfly Pavillion. This quaint town has delightful wineries as well as the unique mom and pop Tomaselli's Pastry Mill and Cafe. Bring your binoculars for abundant wildlife viewing. Great, private one night stay. Host Mark was super friendly. We really enjoyed talking to him. We walked the trails around our site with our dogs and hiss dog, Augie. Augie is also very friendly. Mark left us fire wood and offered us water in our tank which was so thoughtful. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The view was outstanding. We were in site N-3. We have a 17’ campervan and it fit perfectly, although it is a pretty small site. As some people reported, there is a bit of poison oak at some of the edges of the campsite, but not a lot. We were able to easily avoid it and keep our dog away from it. There is some traffic noise from 101, but honestly, we hardly even noticed as the beautiful sound of the ocean is all we heard. The path to the beach is quite steep in some parts, so if you’re older like me, you may want to bring a hiking pole for extra stability on the steep parts. It was worth it though, as the beach was fantastic. It was almost like a private beach. I only saw two other people there. The only thing we weren’t thrilled about was the bathroom/shower in the basement of the owner’s home. It was not as clean as I would have preferred. Not a deal breaker for me, but it could have been better.

This camp spot is absolute magic. The unfettered access to a beautiful deserted beach, the friendly gracious host and the continuous crashing of the pacific elevate Richard’s land to my favorite Hip camp. The sites have level spots for tents, plenty of room for a car or truck and all have a view of the ocean. My family had an absolute blast and we will be coming back. My dog had a great time as well. Thank you Richard, Steve and John and Dingo. You guys are awesome.

The spot was easy to find. The view is really nice. We booked for only one night as we were just looking for a safe night to sleep while fishing the Siuslaw. We sat up our sleeping mats and blankets and slept inside the little tiny building in the property. We brought our own bathroom set up. It worked out really nice for what we needed. We will stay again!

Where to go

North Coast

A weekend getaway from Portland, this region features a mix of coastal communities—namely Astoria, Seaside, Cannon Beach, and Manzanita—plus plenty of state parks such as Hug Point State Recreation Site, famous for its tidepools. Other camping spots include historic Fort Stevens State Park, home to one of the largest campgrounds in the country (and a shipwreck), and Nehalem Bay State Park, which occupies a sand spit between Nehalem Bay and the Pacific. From here, it’s a short drive to Tillamook and Cape Lookout State Park, which offers tent sites, RV sites, cabins, and yurts—plus hot showers—at its Seaside campground.

Central Coast

Extending from Lincoln City down to the city of Florence, the Central Coast mixes developed areas and rugged forestland. Popular towns include Depoe Bay, which touts itself as the whale-watching capital of the Oregon Coast, and Newport, home to the Yaquina Head Lighthouse. When it comes to camping, consider Beverly Beach State Park, with its huge campground right by the beach, or South Beach State Park, just south of Newport.

South Coast

Extending from Florence down to the California border, Oregon’s South Coast is considered the state’s most picturesque stretch. It’s home to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, a massive stretch of sand dunes popular for off-highway vehicle (OHV) riding, and Coos Bay, the largest coastal Oregon City and a prime crabbing spot. Cape Blanco State Park marks the westernmost point in the state, while other beach camping spots include Humbug Mountain State Park near Port Orford and Harris Beach State Park near Brookings.
