Tips for Snagging a Campsite Reservation
- Campsites and yurts are released for reservation six months in advance, at 6am each day, and can be booked using the Oregon State Parks online reservation system or over the phone. Reservations can be made up to a day in advance.
- Same-day reservations are only available in person and on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive early for the best chances of nabbing a spot. A hiker/biker camp also serves cyclists and backpackers with walk-in sites.
- If you have a specific yurt or campsite in mind, you can create an online alert to be notified in case of cancellations.
When to Go
Beverly Beach is open for day use and camping throughout the year, and it’s particularly busy in July and August—on weekends and weekdays alike—when Oregon kids are on summer vacation. September continues to be a busy time, particularly on weekends, but weekdays after Labor Day tend to see a reduction of crowds. If you’re interested in watching gray whales as they make their way north and south past the coast, visit in mid-December through mid-January or from late March until May.
