Relaxation and privacy in nature await! Our tipi is a 18' Handcrafted Sioux Tipi incorperating 4 raised sleeping cots. There is also a zip bell tent with 2 raised sleeping cots. Yaquina Bend camp can accommodate 6 campers in all. The camp is 2 acres along the Yaquina River headwaters in the coastal hills, surrounded by forest and valley praries.
The fire pit includes a grill and seats so no need to pack chairs. Beach access along the Yaquina River is great for swimming and innertubing in the summer. We have some advanced terrain please use the rope to assist you in getting into the water.
Only 20 minutes from the Newport, this camp can make a great home base for day trips to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Yaquina-Bend is the perfect place to relax, connect with nature, and spend quality time with friends and family.

This magical property is conveniently located 5 miles north of Florence and directly on Hwy 101, approximately 3/4 of a mile from the ocean. This is a large private site that is surrounded by old growth timber and teaming with flora and fauna. Campers are encouraged to explore, but be aware, this property is wild.. and encounters with wildlife are common. Beyond the adventuring that can be done on the property, Baker Beach state park is less than a half a mile away and there is a plethora of trails, parks, and lakes within 10 miles.
We do have full time neighbors just to the North, so we ask that you be respectful and cautious with regard to dogs/noise. Hwy 101 can be very dangerous for unsuspecting pets. There are several roadside campfire stations(directly across 101 from camp) offering small bundles for $5-6/night.
**Be advised that we are slowly working on the property to eventually create more camping space. There was a lot of dirt/fill brought in over the winter of 2022 and the property may not be as green as years past.**

We have 200 acres of timber cozied up to Siltcoos Lake. Siltcoos Lake is approximately 3500 acres and warm enough to swim in! Your campsite is 10 private acres surrounded by the rest of our 200 acres. You are welcome to hike, bike, forage, and enjoy the whole 200 acre forest. Your 10 acre campsite is private for you and your guests. So let your pets off the leash, laugh, play music, have fun! Your site comes with a propane bbq grill(bring your own propane or rent a bottle from us), fire pit, patio set, table and chairs.
There is plenty of flat, open area to maneuver several RVs and place tents. It is open and grassy. Our driveway is long and takes you to peaceful privacy. Our driveway is part gravel and partly dirt that we grade and trim as needed. You can place your kayaks and small boats into the lake at our property. There are 2 other ramps for larger boats elsewhere.
RVs, tents, boats, bicycles, horses and pets welcome. There are many unimproved roads to access our creeks, springs, ponds and lake or enjoy the deer paths. Our property has elderberry, blackberry, huckleberry, mulberry, thimbleberry, salmonberry, currants… mushrooms, many wild edible plants and wild life! Siltcoos Lake has 2 boat ramps, 1 restaurant, 1 bar, 1 store, and boat rentals. The restaurant/bar/store (Darlings) will deliver, by boat, to your campsite for $10 !!! $20 minimum as of 2022. Or drive/boat over to Darlings for their well known friendly atmosphere and great food served inside or on their heated deck!

We enjoyed our stay here. The view was outstanding. We were in site N-3. We have a 17’ campervan and it fit perfectly, although it is a pretty small site. As some people reported, there is a bit of poison oak at some of the edges of the campsite, but not a lot. We were able to easily avoid it and keep our dog away from it. There is some traffic noise from 101, but honestly, we hardly even noticed as the beautiful sound of the ocean is all we heard. The path to the beach is quite steep in some parts, so if you’re older like me, you may want to bring a hiking pole for extra stability on the steep parts. It was worth it though, as the beach was fantastic. It was almost like a private beach. I only saw two other people there. The only thing we weren’t thrilled about was the bathroom/shower in the basement of the owner’s home. It was not as clean as I would have preferred. Not a deal breaker for me, but it could have been better.

This camp spot is absolute magic. The unfettered access to a beautiful deserted beach, the friendly gracious host and the continuous crashing of the pacific elevate Richard’s land to my favorite Hip camp. The sites have level spots for tents, plenty of room for a car or truck and all have a view of the ocean. My family had an absolute blast and we will be coming back. My dog had a great time as well. Thank you Richard, Steve and John and Dingo. You guys are awesome.

we loved kissing rock farms!! Richard was so kind and so communicative! he even stoped by our site to see if we needed anything & help with directions. He was quick to respond to any message sent & also provides restrooms in his own home! (separate basement/ comfort area to hang) we didn’t go down to it at all but when we did drive up, everything looked clean and well put together! The site was so lovely as well, beach views & had a fire pit. the one thing i would let others know of is, in site n-2, it is likely you will hear a bit of highway traffic ( after about midnight) it slows down a bit and you don’t hear much. it wasn’t a problem for us at all. also, the site was on the smaller side, but it was just for me & my partner so we didn’t mind at all!

What a great space! Getting there can be a little tricky since the Maps directions are just a little off and the gate is hard to spot from highway, but if the three of us can pull it off- anyone can!
Lots of room for group camping. For its proximity to 101, the site is quiet and feels secluded. Port-a-potty was clean, the fire pit was perfect, and overall we had a great time. Would definitely return.

Honestly one of the best experiences I had in Oregon. My two round daughters and wife enjoyed every minute of it. Beautiful view! Nice warm running water. Comfortable in the comfort room! My husband and I stayed at N1 for our 14 year anniversary and were in awe of the constant view and music of the ocean. Our dogs were able to explore off leash a majority of the time without running into others and we all got a decent workout climbing the trail down to the beach and walking along it for hours. The perfect get away! Minutes from the town to the north which had great places for food and grocery stores. About 10 minutes from Myers Creek Beach to the south which has some of the most stunning views and rocks to explore. Having a bathroom with a shower kept us feeling fresh the whole time and the host Steve was super kind.

Easy access, private, spot right off of 101. If traffic noise bothers you, this might not be the right spot for you. But, I’ve tent camped here twice and our group always has a good time. Quieter in the evening and you can hear the ocean in the distance. Great for big groups and dogs. Clean and routinely maintained porta potty. Will definitely stay again!
