We are closed for the season to let our land rest and, well it gets pretty soggy around here in the winter months. We'll open up in again in April but, we're taking reservations for the 2026 season... Our one designated site, closest to the river bank we call the Riverside Site. It can be reserved for up to 4 people. It can only accommodate smaller tents, campers, pop up trailers, small pod-type trailers and larger rigs up to 15'. has a rustic firepit and your own deck for viewing the river. For groups of 5 or more or people or camping with large 10 person tents or trailers over 20', there will be an additional fee and you will need to set up camp in our Riverwood Site, about 150' from the riverbank. You will still have full access to the deck and firepit in the other site but, larger rigs cannot maneuver in the site without tearing up the grass and leaving ruts on our property. **Please note**When you make the reservation you will add an "Extra", ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE. We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests in a separate apartment we have downstairs of our house. There is a small living and dining area, kitchenette with barista bar, microwave and small fridge. It is about 150' walk and is visible from the campsites but, still feels private. We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee. The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. It has a nice mattress (Please bring your own sleeping bags), a comfy bench, a coat rack, remote control lights and a nice electric heater. There are curtains all around for privacy. You'll use the bathroom facilities in the apartment. All of our guests have full access to our personal dock to get down to the water. Feel free to fish off the dock, swim, Kayak, SUP or just enjoy the evening on the dock. Our property is about a 10 minute drive to the Ocean/Hwy 101, just south of Lincoln City. River View is located in Glenada. No bathroom or running water, but there are 2 electrical plugs (110V and 220V) available at the pole. We have a free-range farm atmosphere, with 2 kids, 2 large dogs, 2 cats, and 12 chickens. We allow Hip Campers to bring animals on the property with the understanding that they are not allowed in the tiny house and that they are good around children and other animals, as our kids and pets are often running around the land. We have firewood and fresh eggs for additional fees. THERE IS NO TOILET on the property. This is not a tent camping site unless you bring your own portable toilet set up. No smoking in the Tiny House. This rustic property is close enough to Hwy 101 and downtown to be convenient, but far enough away to enjoy all the wildlife the Siuslaw River has to offer. Bird watching at its finest! Not to mention the view of Old Town! This little slice of rugged heaven is just above the Siuslaw River and right off of Hwy 101. There is a steep gravel driveway, but once at the top, it is flat, and the view is pretty amazing. From camp, you can see Old Town. Gaze down at the Siuslaw River and all the wildlife that comes with it! We regularly see deer, red-tailed hawks, ospreys, and bald eagles. We have also had a bear that passes through, so beware of leaving food out. There are plenty of places to hike and visit nearby dunes, rivers, lakes, parks, and the ocean. Enjoy Florence's amazing food (ask the host for her favorites). It is quite an "up and down" walk to Old Town for dinner, or you can bring back take-out and eat it in the tiny house (no electricity or running water). Take a short walk to Prichard State Park for clamming or just relax with a book and feel the breeze off the river.  Whatever you enjoy, we’re sure you can find something close by!

This magical property is conveniently located 5 miles north of Florence and directly on Hwy 101, approximately 3/4 of a mile from the ocean. This is a large private site that is surrounded by old growth timber and teaming with flora and fauna. Campers are encouraged to explore, but be aware, this property is wild.. and encounters with wildlife are common. Beyond the adventuring that can be done on the property, Baker Beach state park is less than a half a mile away and there is a plethora of trails, parks, and lakes within 10 miles. We do have full time neighbors just to the North, so we ask that you be respectful and cautious with regard to dogs/noise. Hwy 101 can be very dangerous for unsuspecting pets. There are several roadside campfire stations(directly across 101 from camp) offering small bundles for $5-6/night. **Be advised that we are slowly working on the property to eventually create more camping space. There was a lot of dirt/fill brought in over the winter of 2022 and the property may not be as green as years past.** Please be our guests, relax, and enjoy!

Our stay at Craig’s place was absolutely magical! We actually got engaged on his property, which made it even more special. The beach access was incredible, we spent hours exploring, finding beautiful rocks, and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. Craig was such a kind and welcoming host (and his sweet dog Jade completely stole our hearts!) Everything about our stay was calm, cozy, and unforgettable. We honestly never wanted to leave — thank you, Craig, for creating such a beautiful space!

Absolutely stunning ocean front property and cozy bungalow equipped with small kitchenette, couch and cute rustic decor. The kitchenette had a coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave and mini fridge as well as necessary cutlery. The composting toilet was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. For being right on the cliffside, the bungalow was very dry inside and not a bit moist or musty like most coastal houses can be. The path to the beach is very steep but well maintained. Morning coffee on the beach is a must! Beach is low tide access only. My little dog was the happiest I’ve ever seen her. She was elated, running circles on the luscious property and scaling the rocks on the beach. 10/10 would love to stay again!

The spot was easy to find. The view is really nice. We booked for only one night as we were just looking for a safe night to sleep while fishing the Siuslaw. We sat up our sleeping mats and blankets and slept inside the little tiny building in the property. We brought our own bathroom set up. It worked out really nice for what we needed. We will stay again!

What a great space! Getting there can be a little tricky since the Maps directions are just a little off and the gate is hard to spot from highway, but if the three of us can pull it off- anyone can! Lots of room for group camping. For its proximity to 101, the site is quiet and feels secluded. Port-a-potty was clean, the fire pit was perfect, and overall we had a great time. Would definitely return.

The views overlooking the beach were amazing and once you get to the beach we mostly had it all to ourselves. Craig was also a gracious host and we appreciated his checking with us to make sure things were going well.

Easy access, private, spot right off of 101. If traffic noise bothers you, this might not be the right spot for you. But, I’ve tent camped here twice and our group always has a good time. Quieter in the evening and you can hear the ocean in the distance. Great for big groups and dogs. Clean and routinely maintained porta potty. Will definitely stay again!

I can't say enough good things about this site. It was conveniently located about 10 minutes from Florence right off the 101. I felt spoiled staying here and having this huge place all to myself. There were so many options where to set up my tent. There's a fire pit, a picnic table, and a porta-potty with lights installed. There is a house next door but I never heard or saw anyone. Megan was very friendly and approved my request to stay there pretty quick. There are pay showers at 37th Street Coin Laundry ($4.00), and a huge Fred Meyers within a 10 minute drive from camp right as you get to Florence. I could hear the cars on the road earlier in the day, but after 10 pm I barely heard it, and slept like a baby all through the night. Between the creeking of the gate when opening, and having neighbors right there added an element of safety for me at night, and my gear if I left for a bit. I really did feel spoiled. It was perfect for me at that point on my road trip down the coast. I highly recommend it.

This was the perfect spot to pitch our tent, have a little fire and get some sleep! There is a picnic table and nice fire pit as well as decently soft and mostly flat ground area for a tent. The trees are amazing, very private area and was easy to find, even in the dark as we arrived fairly late.

Huge forest grove all to ourselves! Drive north for less than one minute for one of the best coastal views we’ve seen in our many travels. The porta-potties were the cleanest ever. So know that this site is right off the highway, but we noticed that at night there’s very little traffic, and the location can’t be beat. For some the road noise might be a bit much but we really didn’t mind. The site is nice and private, with a big picnic table and fire ring and plenty of level places to set up a tent or an RV. We will definitely return to this one.

This camp is a clearing under tall trees located between 2 homes, with a beautiful view of the river. It was dark and quiet at night. There's a deck for sitting on and viewing but it's not the same one to access the river. River access is in front of the hosts house. Debbie's facilities are wonderful. A clean bathroom, morning drinks and even a microwave and little refrigerator. Theres a comfy couch if you get rained out! This location is perfect for playing in Lincoln city and then returning for the night. Info if you're wondering about presences of dogs; They were barely around, quiet and friendly. We would recommend this site for anyone with minimal camping gear, because Debbie has you covered.

It was perfect for myself and my dog! I’m glad I arrived early to be able to find the gate, as well as look around to figure out where best to pitch my tent. Went out to visit with some friends that night and had a difficult time trying to find the turn off in the dark- but for me that’s all a part of the fun 😉 My dog did not want to leave. Grassy mowed area along the Sixes River on our cattle ranch and cranberry farm. We provide an outdoor shower and composting toilet shared by the 5 camp sites. The shower water is filtered water from a shallow well, but bring water to drink. This campsite lies about 1 mile from the pacific ocean at about 15 feet elevation so it will be cooler than inland camp sites. I believe we are the closest camping to the south side of the Blacklock Hiking Trails. Also next to the Cape Blanco State Airport. (call if you want to fly in and get transport to and from the campsite). Access Road is a single lane in and out (gravel, dirt, and grass). Any towed trailers need to be pulled by a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle to climb back out (in and out procedures for trailers will be provided) Bring a fishing pole or a kayak. Sea-run trout are in the river during the summer (no motorized vehicles allowed in the Sixes River by law. No motorized vehicles in campsite besides automobiles by rule.) - Please be accurate with the number of guests in your party. Please note about lack of signage: The "walters landing" and "92220" on airport road are the only markings to indicate our entrance. We don't want to put any "campground" signs to avoid curious trespassers into the property (we only want invited guests). Campsite Rules: 1. Enjoy. 2. No motorized vehicles besides your auto. 3. We do have several dogs on the property (in fenced area away from camp sites), and they do bark when excited, so please consider this before booking. Your dog(s) or other pets will be considered if kept inside your RV/in a crate/on a leash at all times. Pet fee applies, and you must clean up after your pet(s). We live in the home on the property and can respond quickly if you need anything. Camp sites are off highway and behind a gate, mostly out of view from road; however, as we do lives on the property, it is not entirely secluded/private, and there will be noise from the highway. This is a multiple tent/RV area, and our house is at the top of the driveway, so there may also be minimal traffic passing by your site. There is abundant wildlife on our property, including deer, wild turkeys, black bears (rarely seen), many varieties of birds, and more. While this is exciting and beautiful to see, it is also very important to take safety precautions. Please keep all food contained and secure any garbage. Please be careful when using Google maps, for whatever reason it has taken several people to other places other than mine. I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

There is now diverse plant life on-site which attracts diverse wildlife including insects, birds and reptile. Your stay here helps us to pay the bills and keep making this small patch of earth better. The property is on a sunny bench not far from the ocean and usually above the fog line. Our location gets ample sunshine most days and is surrounded on 3 sides by a forest of trees. The property is fenced and access is by gate. There are two seperate campsites which are separated by our central garden and bamboo plantings. There is very little street traffic before 9 AM and after 4 PM Mon-Sat. Sundays are quiet. Both sites can use the portable toilet and outdoor shower. We keep it clean and odor free for a sanitary camping experience. Bring your bikes, boards and outdoor gear! Many adventures to be had here on the central coast. Your hosts are avid surfers and cyclists and can help direct you to the best spots to match your skill level. The property is close to town as well as bike loops, gravel roads and trails. We're also close to the beach. Within a short drive surfers of all levels can find something fun to ride nearly everyday of summer and fall. The 18 hole golf course is just down the street from the property and the town of Waldport is 2 miles away. Yachats is a short 12 minute drive to the south where you can find amazing restaurants where they serve fresh roasted coffee along with a large menu of drinks and treats at places such as The Green Salmon Cafe. White sand beaches are located just down the hill from us where you can walk all the way from the mouth of the Alsea river to the mouth of the Yachats river. Forested and easily accessible walking trails are also nearby. South of the property is Cape Perpetua - a natural wonderland with whales, tide pools, blowholes and a 26 mile trail system. Once a dairy farm and part of the old Simpson estate our property offers mushroom picking seasonally whey you may find Chanterelle & Hedgehog mushrooms. We're close to the beach and the Sunset Bay Golf Course is on the same property. Lots of hiking trails and you can connect with Sunset Bay State Park our neighbor. We have a private, secluded campground that is wind sheltered with approximately 20 acres of space in which to use our covered table, picnic tables, fire pit, fire rings at individual campsites, BBQ, sauna and outdoor propane-fired shower. The camp area is tucked away among large spruce trees and open meadows which lead to endless trails on the property, with the option to buy a round of golf at Sunset Bay Golf Course, which is right next door to the camp area. We’re just short of a mile from Sunset Bay, where you will find kayaking, fishing and a great spot for kids. The Whiskey Run mountain bike trails are a short drive away and are truly world-class trails. The Sunset Bay State Park has a huge trail network that spans the cliff line all the way from Sunset Bay to Cape Arago. Chuck’s Seafood in Charleston is a great spot to pick up local seafood. BBQ some oysters on the grill or pick up some fresh fish and enjoy the bounty of the coast. Charleston, just 3.5 miles away, also has some great restaurants and local shops to truly make your stay memorable. Only friendly dogs allowed and leashed or under voice command.

Cornerstone Ranch is a pristine Ranch of about 500 acres on the Rogue River and against the Pacific Ocean offering too many experiences to count. You can even bring your horse... FYI, Hipcamps map for site locations is not correct. Two go next to the driveway and the other four follow the creek. From the South GPS is very accurate to our driveway. Coming from the North, GPS may drop you a few driveways away as that is the property line. Keep driving about another 1/8th mile until you see the large red "Cornerstone Ranch" sign. That is our driveway. Welcome... The ranch offers 6 different campsites. Campfires are allowed (outside of burn bans), and there is a toilet in off season and Port-A-Potties during the summer on site as well. Reviews from guests: "During the night we could hear Elk and the nearby nature! When we woke up we got to visit with the horses, use the really clean port-potty, and chat with Bonnie and Chris the Hosts. They have tons of recommendations, but our favorite was the Indian creek cafe across the river. The areas so great and clean and the host cares about their guests! Would recommend!"
