Frank Page purchased the Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground in 2008 which included the original seven acres of the lower portion of the Rendezvous. At that time there were only a few buildings and the primitive campground area. Frank started cleaning the area and stabilizing all the buildings. In 2009 another 20 acres was purchased, which is now considered the upper area of the Rendezvous. In 2010, another seven acres were added to the property. Frank planned and constructed the Upper Rendezvous area which was completed in 2012 and added 136 RV sites as well as the dog park, barn and pigeon coop. The dog park has five sections, for both small and large dogs, with ample room to run.
Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort & Campground Pool
Frank began raising pigeons in 2012. The first pigeons purchased were homing pigeons, which started the Pigeon Races that are still a fun, family favorite event on Saturday afternoons. Frank also bought and started raising other pigeons, the Birmingham Roller. Birmingham Rollers are a very popular breed of domesticated pigeons that originated in Birmingham, England, where they were developed via selective breeding for their ability to do rapid backward somersaults while flying. You can often see them flying around the Upper Rendezvous in the mornings and afternoons. These pigeons are used for our weekly Pigeon Races.

Tennis court, pickle ball courts and a play ground is across the street. 20-30 min to Daytona Beach or historic St.Augustine. A little over an hour to Orlando with Disney, Universal and other parks, Jacksonville or Cape Canaveral. Whatever your interest is - you can find it around - many of restaurants, wine tasting, fresh food market 7 days a week, NASCAR, Auditorium with performances, water sports, bike week, movie theater, and many more.
We have a water and electricity hook ups for 4 spots. Spaces for the boats are available also. No sewage disposal.There is a dog on the property. Dogs are ok but have to be cleaned after and be on the leash.Please no loud noise after the dark, no drugs or heavy drinking.Our guests love staying with us " We enjoyed our stay at Roxie’s place. Really great location close to the beach and grocery stores and restaurants, yet it is still in a quiet place just off the beaten path. Roxie is a wonderful host who met us upon arrival and departure to make sure all was going well. She even gave us some amazing fresh eggs from her chickens that roam freely on the land. (Be prepared for a lot of rooster crowing EARLY in the mornings). Our campsite was level and had water and electric. It was not too close to the other campers who were there and we had plenty of privacy. Star gazing was awesome! Highly recommend."

Back in 2014, this was 40 acres of forgotten, overgrown Panhandle woods. Less than a year later, in 2015, we added the neighboring 40 acres — together, the 80 acres of thriving longleaf pine, orchard, and untouched wetlands you get to camp inside of today.
With guidance from the Florida Forest Service, FWC, IFAS, NRCS, and a sharp-eyed private forester, we built a management plan to bring this land back to its native state. Twenty-five thousand pines and more sweat equity than we can count later, it's finally ready to share.
Wander walking trails through planted fields alive with deer, turkey, and songbirds. Watch the light shift over quiet wetlands. Fall asleep to real silence — broken only by whip-poor-wills and, occasionally, a tractor.
We're tucked into a quiet corner of the Florida Panhandle, close to Torreya, Three Rivers, Seminole, and Florida Caverns State Parks, plus the Lake Talquin State Forest — a perfect basecamp for paddling, caving, and hiking.
Camping options: two full-hookup sites for RVs or campers, three RV sites with power and water, and one true boondock site — no hookups, but plenty of room for an off-grid, self-sufficient rig.
A few honest notes: this is a working farm, not a manicured resort. During the rainy season, the grass can get a bit long between mowings, and you'll likely see (and hear) tractors and other agricultural activity — always outside quiet hours. Loved staying here in our RV. Short walk to bathroom when we wanted to go there, pool and other amenities are all easy walk, as well. It is under a big oak tree so shady parts of the day. Fun resort in good location, it was just 10 miles west to the beach and St Armand’s circle for dinner/ice cream/shopping. We enjoyed beaches on Anna Marie Island, Lido Key, Longboat key, the Ringling Museums, and Myakka State Park. The concrete pull-thru site is level, all hook-ups worked well. Great place for couples or families.

We Love this place ao much, An excellent place to camp—it’s quiet, and when you wake up, you see donkeys, horses, and deer. The bathrooms are something else—I absolutely loved them. Rob and Mike are great hosts; they meet you at the entrance, guide you to your spot, and explain everything. Plus, they have lovely little items for sale. If you’re looking for a place to relax, this is the best one.

We really enjoyed our stay on Aprils land! She was helpful and kind to us. Even brought us a dozen of great tasting eggs!
The camping spot was very very private, had a grill, picnic table and a cold water outdoor shower which was pretty dang cool. We booked it for access Ichetucknee springs and could have not been happier.

Excellent experience, again! This time we rented their RV as ours wasn’t available to use. The RV was super clean and well stocked! Mike and Rob and kind and informative and the farm tour is always one of our favorite experiences! Last but not least the public bathrooms and showers are super clean! I loved camping here! Waking up with longhorns in your front yard and horses to the side. It's what Florida is supposed to be with beautiful views of the lake. My kids loved all the animals and exploring the land. Lorraine made it such a memorable experience. Thank you so much! We will be back!

Host Lee was very accommodating, coureous and provided a clean, safe, level and quiet site with full hookups. We stayed 3 days and were able to visit family in the area. The sites are located on a nice level grassy pasture with easy access to area shopping and attractions. The area is very quiet. We highly recommend this host and this location.

We stayed in our RV at one of their two RV spots....its was great. This was easily the quietest and most serene spot we've ever camped. If you are looking to get away from any signs or sounds of humanity, this is your place. Mike & Rob were great and they offered a tour of the property and introduced us to all of their livestock. What a great experience....would highly recommend.

I loved every moment of my stay except for the moment I got lost and ran my car in a rut. Lol That was all my mistake. I could get to my campsite but it took several tries to find my way out. My stay was a 10/10. After those attempts, i had it mastered. I walked many miles exploring the camp. The animals were so fun to watch! I loved it all. I already have my spot picked out for my next stay! Oh, They have the sweetest gal at the front desk!

Where to go
Panhandle and Big Bend
White-sand beaches and laid-back beach towns fringe the Gulf of Mexico in Florida’s north-western county. Panama City, Destin, and Pensacola are gateways to the Panhandle, where you can pitch your tent right on the beach along the Gulf Islands National Seashore or check into an RV resort at one of the seaside state parks. Campers looking to escape the beaten track can enjoy backcountry camping along the Canaveral National Seashore or park up by the beach in Anastasia State Park. Inland, the sprawling Lakelands of the Ocala National Forest are camping nirvana, surrounded by state parks and natural springs.
Central Florida
Fun-seeking families probably have Orlando’s theme parks at the top of their Central Florida to-do list, but there are plenty of ways to get back to nature too. There’s great hiking and primitive camping in Seminole State Forest and Kissimmee State Park, both just outside the city. Other popular camping spots include the Jonathan Dickinson State Park in West Palm Beach, Lake Okeechobee, and Cayo Costa State Park, just off the coast of Fort Myers.
South Florida
The vast Everglades National Park is the star attraction of the Gulf Coast, where boating, biking, and canoeing tours will take you through the UNESCO-listed wetlands. Look out for manatees and American alligators along the way. Over on the Atlantic Coast, the buzzing beach resorts of Miami and Fort Lauderdale draw sun-seekers year-round. Intrepid campers can escape the masses in the Biscayne National Park, where the tent camping sites are reachable only by boat or kayak.
Florida Keys
If kayaking around tropical islands, and snorkeling and scuba diving along remote coral cays sounds like your idea of fun, look no further than the Florida Keys. The Overseas Highway runs all the way to Key West, and campers will find RV sites and tent camping grounds peppered around the many islands.
