Now there are 3 little picnic tables for little kids. One bit larger and two for the smaller tots. There is also one short popup canopy for shade. How we figure out who gets the kid canopy I am not sure. Probably first going to the sites with the most sun. So let me know if you want the smaller versions or the larger one that is shown in the photo. Photos of all three will be posted when the snow melts.

This isn't an official show up at a certain time and get a lesson. You don't have to make a reservation. Nope, it all depends on when the herd is near the pen. So, when you are on your hike, come by the corral pen. If the herd is around, you can hand feed them a snack. Or just ask me when we connect. Either way, I will explain the difference between an alpaca and a llama. Plus a bit of history about them. Then there will be a quiz!

Split, dry pine firewood in an easy to carry 5 gallon bucket, plus some kindling to help get your fire started. This is the same amount as you would get at the grocery store. OR you can save some $$$ and extend your burn time. There is plenty of deadwood in the forest to be scrounged for free. Small enough in diameter to cut easily with a handsaw or break by hand. Some even at usable lengths. So bring a small saw and put the kids to work. If you don't have a hand saw, we have some you can borrow.
