Welcome to our charming 2-acre meadow nestled in East Boulder. Just minutes from town - near bike trails, shops and restaurants. A great pitstop on your way to or from the mountains - or base camp for the adventures in Front Range. We aren't fancy, but we are convenient, cozy and safe. Gate code will be provided 48 hours before arrival. We have spots in the meadow for Tents, Motorhomes, Vans, Trailers, and Rooftop setups. The grounds are a bit sloped but we've got leveling boards (please leave them behind). We've got the world's best eggs, a few walking paths through tall wild grasses, a campfire ring, solar shower, wading pool, gas grill, a table and a lovely porta-jon (NO TOILET IN WINTER). We can handle RVs up to 45 feet - truck and trailer. It’s a big field, but a narrow, winding and steep gravel ramp to get in and out. We have a community fire pit with free burn wood, though the big logs are few and far between; your own firewood is recommended - as well as an ax or saw. If it's windy, please skip the fire... the BFD is very strict about this!! We have well water feeding a solar shower (only hot when the sun shines) and sink (non potable unless you have a filter). - CLOSED FOR THE WINTER We have a wading / dog pool continually refreshed from the creek. I just built a new filter!! It’s a saving grace in the summertime. - CLOSED FOR THE WINTER We have a community gas grill - please donate to the propane fund. Please help yourself to eggs up at the coop - look for the Venmo QR and WATCH OUT FOR THE ROOSTER! The chickens free range during the day, so please MIND YOUR DOG. Learn more about this land: Private, semi rural property of 1 plus acre to house your RV while traveling or availing local activities; there is a home on the property. Close to Boulder CO and other towns, easy access and quiet place to stay that is not an RV park.  RV must be self contained with a toilet. We do NOT provide one. Generators may not be used, however we can supply 30 amp for a small fee during hot summer months.  We ask that the AC is off when the RV is unoccupied. Though we live on the property, the tiny house is your own private space and we'll respect your privacy during your stay. Neighboring houses are visible from the property in one direction. The other direction all that can be seen is trees, mountains and sky. There is space to pitch a tent next to the tiny house for additional hipcampers. Please note, we sit at about 8600' elevation which means in the summer you can enjoy a good 10-15 degree temperature drop from the flatlands. Ahhh. In the winter, it will also typically be colder and snowier. Be prepared for the altitude and be sure to hydrate (and consider drinking less alcohol than you normally tolerate) so you can remain healthy and enjoy your stay.

The folks @ A-Lodge were the best! They are super responsive on their text chat almost anytime of the day/night. They extended our stay one more night very quickly just over chat when decided we were not ready yet to say goodbye to our kids in Boulder. We were able to snag the same spot from the night before so getting in later after dinner in Boulder was super easy for us. The lodge is really nice and so were the restrooms and showers. Snowed our first night and the view of the property was very special. We were able to fall asleep to the sound of the creek next to our RV spot #2. Would book back here in a heartbeat. Thanks again to all who helped us on first camper van trip. Starting here made the rest of our week that much easier.

The host is friendly and communicative and the area beautiful! We went in February when there was snow on the ground, so if you go in winter, you of course need to make sure you are prepared fully for winter camping. If you are prepared for that, the spot is great! The camp site specific porta-potties aren't there (again, it's winter) but there is still a nice indoor bathroom to use. We had a lovely time having such a great view of the night sky (surprisingly little light pollution for a place so close to towns and cities) and had a fun time soaking in their indoor metal tubs. It really hit the spot to warm up after being outside in the cold. I recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay at the chicken farm! We had some privacy and beautiful views but weren’t too far from necessities. Patrick’s communication and instructions were spot-on and very helpful. Brooke was kind and supportive as well. We will definitely be back!!

This spot was perfect for my truck with RTT. Michelle was very friendly and welcoming with great neighbors in a cute neighborhood.. Michelle went above and beyond for me when my cat ran off to play hide and seek for the rest day. She was right there with me the whole time helping me catch my cat. I am so very grateful for all the help she, her partner and lovely neighbors gave me. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking to park their rig for one night or extended stays. The better alternative when camping in the city.

Weekend Trip to A-Lodge Boulder

Deer came right down to the Lodge, plenty of creature comforts in the kitchen, jacuzzi tub, hot tub, with wifi and central heat. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Trailhead on site for a good hike, or another right across the hwy. King Suite was spacious, check in was easy, be ready for an extra deposit fee.

I booked a tent site at A-Lodge and it exceeded every expectation. The property is tucked into a peaceful mountain pocket with just the right mix of wilderness and comfort. You get the feeling of camping in nature, but with clean facilities, hot showers, and a friendly staff that actually cares about your stay. The tent sites are spaced out perfectly—private enough to feel like you’re on your own adventure, but close enough to walk to amenities. Waking up to the sound of the creek and the cool morning air was the best way to start the day. Trails are right next to the lodge, so I was able to hike straight from my campsite without ever getting in my car. The staff deserves special mention. They were welcoming, knowledgeable about the area, and gave genuinely helpful tips for hikes, food, and local spots. The community vibe around the lodge, especially in the evening, made the experience even better—quiet when you want rest, relaxed when you feel social. If you’re looking for a tent camping spot that balances nature, comfort, and adventure, A-Lodge is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back.
