The sites are located in an aspen grove along the creek with a picnic table provided and room to park one vehicle up to 20 feet long and space for a tent. 30 amp power is provided to each site, a porta-potty within 250 feet and water from a camp spigot. The campsites are pet friendly, $30 per pet per stay, max 2 pets.

My family adored the Aspen Yurt. We had to change camping plans last minute due to an injury, and once we found this location, we were sold. Our vacation was not canceled, just happily adapted. Aspen Yurt was everything we wanted, and it was so beautiful. Roomy enough for a grown family of 4. The outdoor freshwater tub was a hit, along with the beautiful outdoor shower. Great memories were made.

We had a wonderful stay at Tim's glamping site! Tim was a great host; he shared helpful local recommendations and made everything easy from start to finish. The site was peaceful, quiet, easy to find, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed.
The location is ideal, with easy access to Alma, Breckenridge, and beautiful hikes. We hiked Wheeler Lake and highly recommend it.
Be sure to bring bug spray and be prepared for a short uphill walk to the campsite.
We had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

My husband and I and our three Shelties spent five days at Pronghorn Oasis to relax, hike, and avoid the fireworks during the 4th of July week. What a beautiful place to camp! The weather is 20 degrees cooler than Denver and so very peaceful and quiet. I hiked the dogs off leash every day exploring the area (there are dirt single-track roads that run all over the South Park basin). We had such a great experience and can’t wait to return!

Ok...so we are hesitant about writing a review. Becuse we want to be able to book here again and not in 10 years. The campground is one of the most clean and taken care of we have ever seen. The owners have so much pride in their place and it shows. There was a fire restriction over the 4th unfortunately, so no fireworks or fires ( insert sad face). The owners took it upon themselves to feed the camp, serve cake and ice cream Sundays and provide live music for everyone at no charge. It was one of the most memorable 4ths we have had. Thank you for everything you did for us over the holiday weekend.

Tim was an excellent host. Land was beaitiful and incredibly accessible. Tim had a light at our campsite, some carts to help us move our stuff, paper towels, soap and a bear box for us to use. Absolutely would stay here again.

This place is great!! Along the river, bathrooms, showers, clean port-o-potties, outdoor games, a store to buy snores and ice, dog park, and a super friendly staff. We had a great time and can’t wait to camp there again!!

Tim is the best host ever! He was there to great us, late in the evening, to make sure we arrived alright and found parking. Then, he helped transport all of our camping gear to the site, and make sure set up went well. When we realized we forgot our sleeping bags, Tim offered us a glamping site so we could still camp and not get cold. Plus, he had extra sleeping bags for us to use! The tent site and glamping sites are 5+ with all the amenities you could hope for. The glamping tent cot is super comfy, all things were clean, tidy, and cozy. Can't wait for our next stay!

Host was super welcoming! Our site was gorgeous and very private. There's a creek that runs on along the perimeter and we were surrounded by Aspens. Clean bathrooms and laundry facilities. They also had live music for July 4th weekend. It looks like there's a mini stage set up year round for entertainment. Site wasn't really near anyone so noise wasn't an issue. During the day this site gets a lot of sun for those that are wanting to hang around at their site for most of the day. Would definitely recommend and return - especially in the fall!

4 nights at Basalt Mountain Homestead
Beautiful yurt with a great porch and great view! The solar setup worked perfectly for running the small mini fridge and charging devices. Kitchen was well-appointed, bed was comfortable. Highly recommended!

Camping at Creekside Chalets at the Mt. Pahlone site was great. Sleeping next to the creek was very relaxing - and covered the sounds of the road pretty well. Sites clean and well-maintained. 15 mins away from Salida, a town that has everything you'll need. At the property you're surrounded by rental cabins. The walk down the lane to the porta potty wasn't too far, but a bit of an inconvenience. Porta potty was clean but heated up in afternoons. It would be nice to have a shower option. And a hot tub option! Mt. Pahlone site is the larger of the 3 campsites available. Staff was nice. We got checked in on twice. I'm glad we booked here.

Second time at Monarch and we always enjoy it. Site 12 was nice and private and right beside the creek. It is near the road - so you will hear cars/trucks at night - but that really didn’t bother us. The staff is always the kindest and most welcoming. We will be back again!

We enjoyed tent camping here. Each tent area was nicely kept and pretty. Everything is well maintained and cutely decorated. The bath house is very clean and also well maintained which made our stay so much better. They had lots of amenities for us to use. They went over and above to make our stay better and are so friendly. They have all the things you might have forgotten to bring to purchase and more and all reasonably priced. Lots of snacks and drinks and even ice cream to choose from.

2 nights at Placer Club
This is an awesome place within the mountain peaks at almost 14000 ft. Tim is super cool and has done a ton of work all by himself. He’s not done yet but this place is super cool. Put a lot of thought into it. Seems pretty into Nichè. Seems pretty Type A. Make sure you vacuum and pick up after yourself because all those tools are at your expense. He makes sure you have everything you need and is very accommodating and knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. Had a great time here and would definitely come back. Be good people :)
