First time RV park experience!

Deluxe Back-in RV Site
Our visit to Four Seasons was our first RV park experience. We were pleasantly surprised by the maintenance of the grounds, general cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff and other guests. Our kids played in the river and we were close to both Salida and BV for restaurants and a local farmers market. It was great! Our puppy was with us and enjoyed making lots of new friends. We recommend it!
The owners, or the managers were so nice! The site was right in the river. The bathrooms were cleaned daily and even had shampoo and soap with mini cups to dispense as needed if you forgot yours. And clean towels if needed! A great community room with a TV, foosball, ping pong, a few board games, and a cool checkers/chess table. They had fresh filtered water in the kitchen area for anybody to use. They were also 3 propane grills outside for anyone to use. They had a cute little store for the essentials you may have forgotten. A great location just about a mile outside of downtown Salida!

Overall was a good experience for a couple nights.
Spots are very tight so if you have a bigger rig be prepared for some maneuvering.
Our spot in the B row has the most inconveniently placed fence in the ground at the edge of road and to separate spots. Understand the purpose of the little fence but it’s definitely just in the way when trying to squeeze into a spot.
A big rig typically means a big truck, the parking situation makes more obstacles in the road when driving to your spot and backing in.
Hookups are good overall, no complaints.
Lots and lots of bugs but that comes with being right on the river.
Exiting the park was slightly cumbersome with a bigger rig due to bad parking, big rocks (decor and barriers) and big beautiful trees.
The dirt road to get out is on a very steep hill and cuts hard left. Once arriving to the top of that hill you are greeting with an even steeper road onto the main highway. Almost guaranteed to scrap when pulling out. I was able to swing it and come at it at an angle to avoid scrapping to bad, my hitch scrapped the road but nothing else.
I would recommend it to people as long as they are either a skilled driver or have a smaller setup.
Such a beautiful campground right on the water! Had some maintenance issues that the staff handled extremely quickly and made sure guests didn’t feel too much inconvenience. Everyone was super friendly and already booked a reservation for later in the year! PSA though, bring bug spray!

We recently stayed here for the weekend and overall had a positive experience. The campground was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The facilities and bathrooms were very clean, and it was clear that the staff takes pride in keeping the property in good condition.
This may be the first time I am giving a negative review. The people were very friendly, great location on the river, that’s where the good ends. It is an old dirty, dusty camp ground and way over priced.

Great spot for RV camping! We had a riverfront space and it didn’t feel cramped at all! The campground was well kept and the owners were very welcoming! Highly recommend and would come again!
Whether you’re staying for a night or a month, this place is simply lovely. Waking up to the sounds of the Arkansas River was magical and the amenities were great. The owners were equally as great and so friendly!! We’ll definitely be back!

Great little family run rv park. Beautiful sites along Arkansas River. Clean restrooms, all the stuff, friendly staff. Going back, God willing.
This park was well kept and clearly maintained by a professional group of people who genuinely care about their guests. However, it was very much an RV park and not really a Hipcamp kind of place. Spots were very close together and they were a lot of long time residents who did not respect quiet hours and who were very nosy. People kept walking around our camper and looking in our windows, which was just downright creepy. Small dogs were barking at 5 o’clock in the morning and I’m not sure why. That happened both mornings that we were there. It was a beautiful location, but I just don’t think we’ll be back.

We had a deluxe river spot and it was wonderful! We loved listening to the water at night. Everyone there was SO helpful, warm, and accommodating!! It was our first time using a camper, but with all of their knowledge and assistance, it was a breeze!! There were so many little conveniences around the park. (Beautiful bathrooms with towels available if you forgot, a little off leash dog area just big enough for those pups that don’t pee on a leash well, darling little market with anything you may have forgotten, laundromat, they’ve thought of it all!) Yes, the spaces are close together so if solitude is what you’re seeking keep looking, but it’s laid out nicely so that you can separate yourself a little. Perfectly shaded, we just had such a great time. Thank you so much to everyone at Four Seasons!!

We took our travel trailer to Four Seasons. Beautiful views of the mountains and the Arkansas River. The bathrooms/showers are very clean. The hosts were very accommodating. We had so much fun, met new friends and enjoyed the near by towns.
The location of this campsite is perfect. Only a short drive into town, combined with the remote sounds of the river rushing by. The people who work at Four Seasons are helpful, friendly, and kind. We would absolutely return.

Beautiful location and well shaded sites
We were in a river front lot. It was amazing!! We were able to fish from our lot and cook out catch on the community grill. The staff were friendly and provided great tips on near by fishing spots. . Definitely will be back.

My family of 5 absolutely loved The Four Seasons! We stayed right above the river and it was not only beautiful but also so nice to hear the river while going to sleep and waking up to it! Everyone was very friendly and everything was accesible! It was also so nice to have the town nearby! Perfect spot to camp but also go out and do something fun!

I thought it was a bit over priced but ok for april month since a lot of campgrounds where close
Wonderful location next to the river. Easy access to all the facilities. Very nice people at the resort. Would stay there again.
