Nestled in a small valley in the San Isabel National Forest along the south fork of the Arkansas River, Monarch Spur RV Park and Campground is at 8,620 feet above sea level – literally in the Heart of the Rockies. We offer free Wi-Fi access, clean laundry and shower facilities, and a camp store with last-minute supplies and snacks. Our RV guests can enjoy 60-foot+, pull-thru sites with full hook-ups, including 20, 30 and 50 amps of power. We also have tent campsites with the south fork of the Arkansas river close by.

Had the BEST time tent camping here over the weekend! The staff onsite was friendly and helpful. The sites and bathrooms were clean and well managed. I was shocked to see there was laundry on site as well which was so nice to have after coming back from the hot springs. Definitely recommend 10/10 will stay again.

Magnificent place with incredible views, privacy and a lot of tranquility, the boys enjoyed all the outdoor activities offered and fishing in the lake was the icing on the cake

We had a beautiful secluded camp spot right on the river. It’s next to the road but the river is so loud you don’t hear it. Great accommodations, lovely staff and great location!

This was our second time camping at tent site 5, and it was amazing both times! Right on the river so we could hear the water running all night, which helped drown out the noise of the road. The only downside was they removed the Porta potty, but otherwise we will be back for sure!

Site was great! Really beautiful to hear the water the whole night. Was helpful that they sold firewood for us to purchase. And the sites weren’t too close to each other so you had perfect privacy

My bestie and I camped here Labor Day weekend and we're so glad we did! Not only was it a beautiful location nestled in the canyons with a river running right next to our camp site, it was well-maintained and offered fun events, including an icecream social and live band for the holiday weekend. The owners were super nice and helpful! We would definitely return.

The location was great! If you have a larger group that needs multiple sites this is a great place! Bathroom and showers were clean and water was hot. The office / store had so many great things and they had entertainment while we were there. Overall just great!

T11 Tent Site - River
We've only started camping this summer and this was by far the best campground we've ever been to. Our tent site was next to the river, it blocks out any noise from the highway nearby. It's like you have your own white noise at night! There's clean porta potties available closer to the sites but there's also a bathroom & shower rooms next to the main office, which were both very clean during our stay. Dumpster was also close to ours which made it convenient. They have golf carts available for rent for $50 a day (9a-5p). It's very cold in the morning, make sure to bring tons of blankets to keep you warm. We can't recommend it enough! We will definitely be back next summer. P.s. if you're staying at Tent Site 11, you can only park 1 car on your site, we had a truck and it's pretty tight.

Fantastic! That is if you like free coffee in the morning so your kids can sleep longer , or free ice cream social, with Live music. Tons of kids games and pickleball. Uh the pond um it suks we only caught about 30-40 trout among 3 of us!! Tight stream fishing or the open pond. I don’t want to write this because it’s going to get found

Such a lovely campground! It has all the amenities-taking a hot shower as it started to get cold out at night was a dream. We had one of the furthest tent sites (T14) from the office/bathrooms/water which was a bit of a trek, maybe 5 minutes, but it felt really private. Close to various hiking trails. There was live music both nights we stayed! Would absolutely stay again, hopefully at a river site next time.

We really enjoyed our time staying here. We were staying in a tent and even though we DID have people beside us for 2 nights we couldn't hear them over the river. The spot was shady, and just a few steps away from fishy water. The camp hosts were great, and it was nice to have some of the creature comforts close by.

I loved camping at five site River. Being able to fall asleep next to the sound of the water and being surrounded by trees was just amazing and it was so quiet even with the road right next to us you couldn’t even hear it.

The campsite was gorgeous! We stayed at T04 which was the perfect spot for camp. It was right by the river and it was easily accessible and the river wasn't deep, which made it easier to explore. The site itself was well-kept and there was no trash just lying around. The directions were clear and the staff were super helpful and very kind! On top of that, there were nice amenities like a bathroom with showers, washing machines, and a place to wash dishes making it truly worth the money. I would definitely recommend this to others and I would definitely come back!
