I bought this land to move from Houston Learn more about this land: In by 2PM, out be 2PM No water on site. I widened the gate and moved my mailbox for easier access. Butane fire rings allowed on private property during a fire ban . Camp anywhere on 60 acres. In one direction there are rolling meadow. Another rocky outcropping. Look to the south and you’ll see the BLM land that shares my fence line. If you want access to town you’re there. You choose how you want to feel. In the woods, in the forest, on huge rocks, flat land or turn around and see CR 1 ( 1/4 mile driveway). Forty five minutes west of Colorado Springs, ten miles to Divide for grocers. One half mile to ice, gas, pizza etc.  It is first come first serve with the sites.  Two that are near trees for large RVs.  One up higher works for pull thru trailers.  Plenty of room in the pasture.  I just got my first negative review referring to it being dry prairie land.  Some  pictures are from late last summer..  We haven’t had enough rain yet for it to green up.  Also it can be windy.I widened the gate and moved my mailbox for easier access. Convenient, quiet, plus alpacas

We enjoyed Lisa’s land - very close proximity (~5 minutes) to the Florissant Fossil Beds and the town of Florissant, yet we still felt well away from other people and busy roads. Best of all - there was a greeting party of 2 friendly alpacas waiting for us when we arrived! They escorted us to our site and checked in periodically during our stay.

This site is awesome! There are 2 llamas that are super friendly and walk around. There are some great spots that are easy to get to, and plenty of cell service. If youre looking for something deeper in the woods this isnt it, as its pretty close to town, but it still feels like youre alone in the woods.

Absolutely loved camping here, as a solo camper I had peace of mind being on private property. My dog and I were greeted by two curious llamas, which was cool. Loved that campsite 3 had a spot to hang your hammock and watch the sunset.

We loved camping here at twisted sitters! It’s perfect for groups and allowing our dogs to roam without neighbors nearby. There are level areas for RVs as well! Highly recommend.

Beautiful land in the country, wide open hillside with some nice trees as well. There wasn't anyone else to disturb us, and the sky was wide open to watch the stars at night. Wonderful host, definitely recommend.

Twisted Sisters Farm
Twisted Sister’s Farm is the perfect blend of peaceful seclusion and easy access to all the fun. I originally picked this spot for its location—it’s close to great dirt biking trails, fishing spots, and a place to do some target shooting. As a Colorado native, one of my favorite things about camping has always been letting the dogs off-leash in your own little slice of wilderness. That freedom has become harder to find with traditional campsites getting more crowded and cramped. That’s exactly why we went with Hipcamp, and Twisted Sister’s did not disappoint. The property gave us the space to breathe, play, and relax. Our dogs roamed freely (respectfully, of course), and we had enough distance from others to feel like we had the place to ourselves. The campsite was wonderfully level—even pulling in after dark, we had no trouble getting the camper set up. The hosts were incredibly kind and quick to respond to messages. And their llamas? Total sweethearts—absolutely had to come over and say hello, which was a fun little bonus. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to post up that’s just far enough from the crowds but still close to all the action, I highly recommend Twisted Sister’s Farm. Plus, the sunsets? Next level. Some of the best I’ve seen.

Stayed at The Twisted Sisters Farm for the Labor day weekend. Lisa was very helpful in making our stay fun and comfortable. We stayed at site 2, Lisa informed us that we were the only ones for the weekend so we checked out all of them and like site 2 best. The site is level for both RVs and for tents. The land around is relatively flat lands/prairie style so when the wind picks up, it really picks up.

Fun Place for Family Camping!

Pros: -close to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, close to restaurants and shops nearby -the kids loved feeding the llamas! Our dog loved exploring! -lot's of space to spread out, especially as we were the only campers on the site. We had a roof top tent on a trailer and a smaller airstream. Plenty of space. -Lisa was responsive with calls and messages to answer questions about our visit -the property/land was beautiful! Cons: -you can hear some road noise but it definitely didn't ruin the experience. But that's the trade off of being close to the action. -we like being more secluded. If there were other campers on property in one of the other sites, we might have felt cramped -while we camped on site 3 that includes a grove of Aspen trees, it still got HOT. Plan accordingly.

One of the best campsites I've been to! Perfect for both tent and hammock campers and a gorgeous view of the mountains. We had such a wonderful time, even with a little bit of rain (which we were mostly protected by the mountain so it didn't hit as hard)!

We enjoyed camping in our RV at Twisted Sister. It is a beautiful, peaceful, and quiet place to recoup and enjoy all the near by outdoor activities, small town amenities, and Woodland Park is a short drive away for a day of sightseeing and shopping (if you like shopping). Lisa was super attentive and was quick to respond. We enjoyed her place so much we extended our stay. Oh yes and our pups loved it too. There was plenty of room for us to set up there camping fence and lots of land to take them on short walks. Thanks Lisa for sharing your property and providing us a safe place to camp out for a bit.

Twisted Sisters ranch was great! We camped near a little aspen grove on the hill and had a beautiful view over Florissant and the mountains beyond. The spot is super close to town for access to supplies, a cafe, a brewery and a bar. Florissant fossil beds were also super close and very cool to check out. We had a wonderful time here and loved the company provided to us by the llamas!

I absolutely loved the land, privacy, and kindness Lisa brings to the table for camping. My friends and I wanted to go on a getaway weekend with our dogs. One of our dogs can be reactive so we’re always so hesitant on going anywhere. Well, those anxieties went away when I saw the site options. We all had an absolute blast. Thank you so much for having us. 10/10 would recommend

Spectacular sunsets and stargazing

We really enjoyed our stay in Florissant! Twisted Sisters was a perfect base camp. The land is peaceful and beautiful. We spent our days hiking, enjoying scenic drives, exploring the fossil beds and learning the history of the area. Everyone in town is friendly. We ate and drank our way around town, enjoyed live music and even bought road side tye dye. Sunsets and star gazing were both way better than anything we can see in the city. We would definitley stay here again!

We enjoyed our overnight stay at Twisted Sisters Farm though we just parked in the field rather than tried to navigate the deep decline down to the marked campsites. Could see the mountain view from our travel trailer and granddaughter got to make a quick run to Florrisant Fossil Beds to earn a junior ranger badge. Very quiet and relaxing!

Amazing! Had a group of 11 and stayed at site three. Very slanted, but sleeping head up was fine for the group. Site two was more flat but had less trees. Bathrooms close by, beautiful view, might have really been the best spot our group has stayed at. Thank you for providing a place for friends to get together!
