We really enjoyed glamping on your land! It was quiet and the site was clean. We enjoyed using the propane fire pit. Tim is very accommodating.

Tim has a lot of care for his property. We are excited to return and see what changes have happened. He is very thoughtful in his campsite setups. Campsite A was a bit unlevel which helped when the rain came to get the water out of camp, but it did make our sleeping bags slide down hill a bit each night along with catching things from rolling off the grill. It's not anything drastic, but is noticeable after a few days.

Tim's place was amazing to us as a family. He was very attentive and helpful throughout the time we were there. The lookout scenery was amazing from high-up in the camp site. The location of the camp is excellent with easy access to different nearby tourist town. Literally we only need to bring our food, pack-and-play, things for the kids; and Tim provided almost everything our family needs. We also went fishing in nearby lakes and reservoirs which are a short drive from the camp. We did not have the chance to use his kayaks, but definitely next time we will!

Beautiful land, great spot and easy to find. Tim was a huge help getting our things to the campsite. He was such a welcoming and friendly host. Definitely recommend a stay! The glamping sites looked well stocked and the yurts were in great condition.

We loved staying at Tim’s site! His help at check-in was greatly appreciated and he really thought of everything when outfitting the site. It had a picnic table, camp chairs, and a bear box with cleaning supplies. All of this in addition to the great views and fabulous stargazing. Tim has been so intentional with creating this space to share and we will most definitely be back!

We had a great time at Tim's Placer Club and enjoyed our stay a lot. The location is superb for hiking, off-roading, or just spending a weekend away from all the hustle and bustle. Tim was super helpful and friendly and made us feel really welcome. We had the campsite at the very top with the greatest privacy but also the longest way to haul up the gear. Tim helped us get our gear up and down the mountain. We definitely want to stay at Tim's place again, but next time we will pack less and lighter :-)

This was a very well-stocked campsite with camp chairs, paper towels, garbage bags, and a propane fire pit available for use. Tim was a fantastic host and greeted my group upon our arrival and even assisted with bringing our gear to the site. One unexpected aspect of this campsite is that the site is up on a hill and inaccessible to cars, meaning our car could not park next to our tents for easy access to gear. This was not a problem for us, however campers with mobility issues may have trouble getting up the hill to the campsite as the only way up is to walk. I am confident Tim will continue to make improvements on the land and would gladly stay at Placer Club again in the future.

Great spot awesome views! Host was super nice and very easy to deal with. There is a bit of a hike getting to the campsite but the host let me know that beforehand. Be prepared for a little hike in between your car or in my case motorcycle and the campsite

This place is absolutely amazing and beautiful! It was the perfect glamping experience — peaceful, relaxing, and surrounded by nature, but with all the little comforts and extras that made it feel easy and special. Tim is amazing and has truly bent over backwards to make this place perfect. You can tell he has put a ton of thought and effort into every detail, and everything we needed for our camping/glamping stay was already there. It made it so easy to just show up, relax, enjoy the outdoors, sit back by the fire, and take in the whole experience. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is incredible, and it was exactly the kind of getaway we were looking for. We will absolutely be back. If you're looking for a great camping or glamping spot, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend!

I loved tent camping at Tim’s land! This was the first time in my life I went on camping and Tim is the best. I didn’t know how to setup my tent .. he helped us and was so sweet throughout the stay. We can clearly make out that he isn’t doing this for money. It’s his passion. I am revisiting this place next week <3

Tim is an amazing host! He has included very thoughtful details at each site to make the stay easy and comfy and goes above and beyond as a host. He also is knowledgeable about the area so can provide tips about hiking/biking. I stayed at site A and it was spacious and private. Would definitely stay at Tim's place again and recommend if you're looking to stay near Breckenridge/Fairplay.

Our host was absolutely incredible. He went out of his way to meet us in the pouring rain to help carry our stuff up to the highest tent site on the hill. There was a picnic table, 2 large jugs of water, and a dishwashing bucket with soap, a sponge, and some scrubbing brush all waiting for us in the bear box. He is an absolute all star host and would recommend staying at this hipcamp. Just be aware that it is not “car camping” and there is a short hike to each tent spot, but there are wagons you can use to do it in 1-2 trips depending on how much stuff. We had campsite D, and we had our 3 year old with us, so we had more stuff than usual. I wouldn’t recommend that site for families as it’s the highest one and the final section of the hike up is steep and can be dangerous in the rain. But when we got up it, it was a phenomenal time as a family. Again, would highly recommend this hipcamp and would camp there again, but with the expectation packing minimally is the way to go here.

The campsite was so well thought out, clean and comfortable. Tim thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and functional. The location was great. Remote enough to feel like a getaway but close enough to a lot of fun mountain town events and amenities. Would defiantly stay again.

Tim’s campsite is super organized and well thought out. Tim is also very friendly. I would recommend his place to others! I am a super light sleeper so the road noise did bother me a little but most people probably wouldn’t notice it.

Camping for the Decalibron

I took 2 of my buddies camping for their first time and couldn't have been happier with the site and hospitality of the host. The site has everything you need and has a great view of the surrounding mountains. You're not going to find glamping at this price anywhere else, so I feel very lucky to have found this spot. Cheers!

Tim is very sweet and communicative and really wants people to have the best experience! He has a tub at every campsite w trash bags, a mallet for stakes, a broom and dustpan for sweeping out tents, etc Good things to know: you do have to trek uphill to the campsites but Tim provides wagons to carry your things. Also make sure not to park on the L side of the garage on the property. T-mobile doesn’t have coverage in the area

Perfect Location w/All You Need

Amazing place. Extremely well-equipped, you won’t find a better mix of location and amenities provided. The Host was top notch and extremely receptive. You are with miles of the best hikes, numerous 14s and 13s, fishing, FairPlay and even Breck. This is as good of a location for a comfortable base camp that you’ll ever find. The yurt itself was clean, and perfectly loaded with everything you need, from cooking (little gas grill, cook water, utensils, propane) to water to a giant cooler, with ice packs provided. I will definitely be returning.

Tim was extremely helpful and kind! He cares for his land and is warm and welcoming to share with others! He helped us pack our things to our site and provided recommendations of beautiful places to hike in the area. Also, I feel like it was a bargain to stay with him (he provided a table, flat area to post up a tent, some supplies like a mallet and trash bags and dish soap and also there’s a drop toilet on site). We brought our dog and she loved it too. Will definitely try to come here again!

Tim has a great set up he has worked tirelessly to create! The sites are just a short walk with excellent views. Remotely placed in the mountainside we had amenities that supported an excellent camping trip. Tim went out of his way to give local advice for hiking, biking, and skiing. He is an excellent host and I anticipate being back.
