Near Rocky Mountain National Park
Within a 60-minute drive from the Moraine Park Discovery Center.
Located perfectly between Boulder, Nederland, and Rocky Mountain National Park, and very close to other stunning hikes, this spot is a great landing pad to have easy access to some of the most beautiful places in the Rockies as well as offering it's own breathtaking scenery. This land is the sacred land of the Arapaho tribe. Chief Niwot and his tribe spent winters here. It is a very special place. The property is a mile long so there is plenty of space with the tent sites being 1/2 mile from the yurt and separate entries for each. There are currently 2 tents sites available, a bell tent, and a yurt.

An amazing yurt and experience. He doesn’t sugar coat a thing! It is rustic but worth it! It was unseasonably wet & cold for September, Shawn and Tiferet were beyond helpful and made sure that we had ample propane to run the Mr. Buddy so we didn’t freeze!

This is a great camp site! We spread out over another site Shawn booked for us which was super nice to have the extra space. Stars were amazing! Highly recommend this if you don’t want to go too far out of town but want to feel like you are!

Our first hip camp trip was a success here! The views were pretty and we saw lots of moose footprints. The nearby hikes were 10/10.

Had a great stay, we enjoyed the evening by the fireplace and sleeping with the creek nearby. Felt private even with the two campsites not too far away. Would definitely come back!

Great spot by the stream
Rivers edge was a great campsite and one of the more secluded ones. There was another group that were pretty far off so we didn’t hear anything from them. It’s was a short little hike to get to the site. A little stream runs through the campsite and we used the ice cold water to cool down our drinks. Overall great place, my only issue was it being so close to the road. You could hear cars zoom by every once in awhile, that being my only complaint about the site. Sean was also great and communicated well with us.

Great site, close to boulder, private even from the other sites nearby. Very peaceful and wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of the stream!
