Beautiful sunrises greet you in the morning, and breathtaking sunsets over the Front Range say goodnight at the end of the day. We are located on 35 acres just east of Denver International Airport. The views of the airport, along with airplanes flying in and out, provide an interesting contrast against the mountain backdrop. The property is farmland, although we practice no-till farming and do our best to minimize our impact on local wildlife. A diverse population of birds calls the property home, with burrowing owls being our favorite. You may also spot the occasional antelope or deer. At night, you'll hear the coyote packs that live in the area. While we've never had any incidents, we still recommend keeping pets indoors at night. Meanwhile, enjoy the stars, as there is very little light pollution and the sky is clear most nights. Mornings and evenings are the most beautiful, but it can get quite hot during the middle of the day since there is no shade at the campsites. Shade tents and umbrellas are recommended, weather and wind permitting. We are located on the eastern plains, where the wind can sometimes become a nuisance. Although windstorms usually don't last more than a few hours, there is often a steady breeze throughout much of the day. Enjoy!

Welcome to our charming 2-acre meadow nestled in East Boulder. Just minutes from town - near bike trails, shops and restaurants. A great pitstop on your way to or from the mountains - or base camp for the adventures in Front Range. We aren't fancy, but we are convenient, cozy and safe. Gate code will be provided 48 hours before arrival. We have spots in the wide open meadow for Tents, Motorhomes, Vans, Trailers, and Rooftop setups. The grounds are a bit sloped but we've got leveling boards (please leave them behind). We've got Boulder's best eggs (help yourself up at the coop), a few walking paths through tall wild grasses, a campfire ring, solar shower, small sink, gas grill, and a lovely porta-jon that’s cleaned weekly. We can handle RVs up to 45 feet - truck and trailer. It’s a big field, but a narrow, winding and steep gravel ramp to get in and out. We have a community fire pit with free burn wood, though the big logs are few and far between; your own firewood is recommended - as well as an ax or saw. If it's windy, please skip the fire... the BFD is very strict about this!! We have well water feeding a solar shower (only hot when the sun shines) and sink (non potable unless you have a filter). We have a wading / dog pool continually refreshed from the creek. It’s a saving grace in the summertime. 8/29/26- creek is all dried up. Well behaved dogs under voice control are welcome off-leash. If you find your dog to be problematic, please keep them on-leash. The chickens free range during the day, so please mind your dog. There is a 3-figure dead or injured chicken fee. Now it is enveloping your restful night under the starry sky of Colorado. The space offers you a coffee maker, a water kettle, water dispenser, BBQ and electricity. You will enjoy the delightful back side view of the famous Hogback mountain. Just a few steps away from your campsite you will find our bath house with a clean portable toilet, hot shower and hand sink. You also will find a fridge inside, where you can keep your refreshments and your food fresh and cool. It’s rare to find a decent camp spot in a city, much less a great one with greenery and animals that’s walking distance to restaurants and bus stops. Would definitely stay again and have already recommended it to traveling friends. Paul and his partner are great as well.

We loved the site. Plenty of room and the electric hook up and shower were a bonus. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. This is a perfect location if you are attending a concert at Red Rocks. We absolutely will return to this Hipcamp site!

Great location close to Red Rocks. Our pet was able to use the ajoining property to walk and explore. Property is actually more like a repository of abandoned vehicles and salvage yard. All which only add to the charm and artistic commune experience. Sabin and Randy are exceptionally friendly and awsome hosts. We would definitely stay again!

I was so happy to have found this great location close to home. For me, this was truly a little staycation! You’re surrounded by nature while still being close to the cute town of Lafayette, with lots of restaurants and shopping options nearby. Bonnie was an amazing host—very friendly, accommodating, and incredibly responsive. She answered my messages super quickly and was always there if I needed anything. A true 5-star host! I absolutely loved my spot. I had a picnic bench and beautiful mountain views. The spot is right next to the common area, but I was the only one there during my stay. The common area has a BBQ, another picnic bench, and a firepit. Of course, because of the drought, fires unfortunately weren’t allowed. The lake was also empty due to the drought, which was a little disappointing, but therefore we didn't have any mosquitoes. 😜 I really wish more farms would open up their land for camping. What a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of the area! There was just one thing that we struggled with: my dog is absolutely terrified of hot-air balloons, and unfortunately, they were out every morning. 😬 But definitely a five star spot and host. Great little setup here. Right off fourmile, easy trail access to betasso and close to busses, tent platform was clean and included tie in points for guylines or cord - bring some since you can’t stake down! Amenities were extremely welcome after time in the backcountry. Shout out to Nick at the front desk for being helpful and generally awesome.
