PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND PROPERTY AND SITE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING! Small farm with U-pick apple orchard. We have free roaming chickens and bee hives ( are you allergic?). Beautiful view of the front range of the Rocky Mountains. Easy access to drive up to Rocky Mountain National Park. We are located in an agricultural area, corn, hay, sugar beets are farmed on a large scale. Our neighbors, Miller Farms CSA and farmers market, are one of the few remaining vegetable farms in the area. Small lake within walking distance. Pet friendly. 110V (very-very minimal at 15 amps) power and potable water available. We can offer an outhouse facility. If this is a necessary option please contact us before booking. Please arrive no later than 8 p.m. to check in. We are a working farm and get up early and go to bed early. Contact us the day of your arrival with an estimated arrival time if possible. ThanksSite has views of Rocky Mountains and has 110 power (15 amp-minimal, basically lights) and potable water tap. Can access with larger vehicle and is "drive through" friendly. Located away from the house behind the barn. Irrigation canal runs beside the site. Apples to pick and eat in season....over 2 dozen varieties. Nice quaint cute little farmstead. Tent camping could be set up in the orchard (depending on orchard work in progress), otherwise you are right next to it. Look at photos for entrance route marked in red with X being camping spot. Be aware of large and small irrigation ponds as you pull into the camp site. ( Marked with black circles on photo) . Avoid hitting water and electric service and enjoy your stay. We can provide outhouse facility (not in winter) upon sufficient notice and request, otherwise it is closed to use.

Wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed the apple orchard and quiet surroundings. John welcomed us upon our arrival and his directions to get there were very good. Easy to get in and out. Would recommend this stay to everyone!

Our second year here for a quick weekend to make sure everything on the trailer is working properly. We didn’t need the electric or water, but it’s nice to have it there, just in case. Nice and peaceful. We’ll be back next year!

Beautiful quiet camp spot

John's place is a perfect little spot. Quiet and peaceful next to a pond. We all camped over a weekend then my husband stayed a few more days while he finished a job in the area. The trailer was perfectly safe if he had to leave during the day. It was the perfect spot for peace and quiet after his work day.

Great spot and great host! John was very welcoming and great with communications. We had a wonderful time as we all got to explore the farm. Highlight was being right across the wooden bridge to the apple orchard! Would definitely camp here again.

We loved our stay at Rocking Martini Farm! It was easy to get to, and the camp spot was private and quiet. We enjoyed walking in the orchard, relaxing with a cool beverage under our awning, and watching the resident chickens. We left with a dozen fresh eggs and farm honey too. We are self-contained for boondocking, but if you need water there is a hookup available, and also a minimal 15 amp electrical hookup. Definitely recommend!

Nice little one night stop stay, peaceful, easy to park, the host let me use the outdoor bathroom, the power at the site is minimal like mentioned in the listing, I was only able to power my camp cooler.

An Apple Orchard 5 mi from I-25

This was a perfect overnight get away for us. We just wanted a a chance to test out our new travel trailer and the Rocking Martini Farm was a great choice. If you are traveling through on I-25 and need a place to stop between Denver and Ft. Collins, the farm is a short drive away and very peaceful. John has about 500 apple trees, chickens, bees, veggies, and more. The property is attractive and the site easy to get into. John invites you to wander the orchard and simple relax. Water and 120V/15A is available, but we didn’t need it. Site is grassy with a great view to the west of the mountains. John met us, guided us to the site and then went about the work of a busy farm and let us relax. Bird songs, cow sounds, water running in irrigation ditches and very little traffic or road noise. It was relaxing and easy to kickback. We really thank John for making this space available through Hipcamp. We look forward to visiting again.

Camping on the farm!

John’s spot was fantastic! Secluded location on the corner of the property with a personal bridge over the creek to access the apple grove. John was polite upon our arrival as he guided us to the spot! After that he allowed our family to enjoy the spot! The spot is a little narrow to get to in one section, however, it is very doable. Our truck and trailer combine to an overall length of 50’ and we had no issues getting in or out. We will definitely be going back to this great spot!

Quiet and peaceful spot next to the apple orchard. The space was nicely cleared, had a picnic table and water/electric available. John's instructions were perfect and we really enjoyed our 2 night stay. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our time at the apple orchard! Ample room for our teardrop. Definitely not for big Class A or Fifth-wheels! You'd end up in the pond or irrigation ditch! The toilet is a flush toilet in a little outhouse next to the barn and it's very clean. The chickens are fun to watch, milling around doing chicken things. And the apples are amazing! John has like 40 or 50 varieties on the farm, with at least a few varieties to pick each week in the fall. Check their website! We found a new favorite (Frostbite)! One thing to consider: this is a working orchard, so there will be people picking apples on the weekends in the fall right across the irrigation ditch from where the site is at. It didn't bother us, but it may not be as "private" as you may like. John is an excellent and attentive host and was available during the day if anything came up. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will come back!

John was a good host! I got there after dark and called him to say I would be. He was kind and still met me at the street as I pulled up. He got me situated and it was a nice visit. I was there at the right time to enjoy a few apples he gave me. Very nice place!
