Arapaho Valley Ranch is a gorgeous, family-owned guest ranch in Colorado’s beautiful Grand County. Our ranch is surrounded by the Arapaho National Forest and is nestled in one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. This area features hiking trails, waterfalls, and historic steam engines from the old town of Monarch. We have a private hiking trail that leads to our “kissing swing” overlooking the headwaters of the Colorado River Valley.

Such an awesome place to camp! The views are amazing and the campground is very quiet and clean. The property is in a picturesque valley and you can tell the place has a lot of history. The staff is extremely friendly and we definitely want to return sometime in the future!

It was an amazing site! There is a caveat, though. The particular days we were there, there weren’t any other campers around. The campsites are definitely on top of each other. It would’ve been a whole different story if there was campers.

Tipi01) Tipi
Beautiful
The tipi was awesome. The campground is right by lake granby and the mountains. The views on the way to the site and at the site are gorgeous. The tipis do not have electricity but they have a power box in the tipi that we used to charge our phones. They also provided a propane heater which made a huge difference at night. We got to see some moose at the campground as well which was really cool to see from a distance. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. Overall I would recommend this as a place to stay if you’re in Colorado to be outdoors and see the natural beauty the state has to offer.

Beautiful campsite! While camping, we got to see a lot of wildlife - including a few Moose! We enjoyed hiking one of their trails that goes along side the water. It led to a nice shallow area of the water with little benches.

Beautiful area. Nice and quiet. Camped for 2 nights. An option for a shower would have been nice. Saw two moose and dawn. Would stay here again!
