Base Camp provides space for many camping styles, from pitching a tent and enjoying a breathtaking view sleeping under the stars. Or hauling in your camper for a more comfortable stay. Great spot along the river! Really quick drive from Fort Collins so I would be happy to come back again!

Good view and area for tenting, only problem is the road noise. It doesn’t really feel like camping.

Nice to be on the river but with the highway so close it's not quiet and peaceful. Great place for groups though.

Private River spot
The river is so beautiful- and still has a few “gurgling” sections that provide peaceful sounds. It’s so private with only 2 sites beyond a locked gate- and the 2 sites are situated so they are also private from each other. Code- compliant solo stove allowed a fire- really lovely night there.

It’s a beautiful spot, easy to get to, although there is a bit of a walk to bring your things to the campsite.. Close to the river, great exploring. Be aware that it is relatively close to the road, and depending on when you go, you may hear road traffic. Glad for our earplugs. Overall, a good spot to go for a quick trip.
