Sleep under Wyoming skies in our tiny converted Horsebox on a peaceful ranchette just north of Cheyenne. One cozy queen bed, raised high with room underneath for luggage and the provided dog bed. 🌙 Quiet, dark country nights 🔥 Radiant heater + electric blanket 🐾 1 pet FREE 🍳 Large Outdoor Kitchen nearby 🚻 Attached composting outhouse 🔥 Community firepit 📍 2 miles off I-25, about 10 minutes to town 💰 20%+ off longer stays! Small, rustic, private, warm and pretty darn cute! The Space Climb the little step ladder into the queen bed and watch the stars and moon, or pull the blackout curtains and sleep in. Underneath is storage plus a dog bed for your four-legged traveler. A few steps outside is an award-winning attached composting outhouse and little chuck-wagon cabinet. About 30–40 steps away is the large Outdoor Kitchen, enclosed in winter and equipped with cookware, dishes, electric stovetop, pizza ovens, gas grills, coffee, tea and wonderful well water. The community firepit is here too. Keep fires small, keep the hose nearby and fully extinguish when finished. During freezing weather, always disconnect the hose after use to protect our well system. 🐾 Dogs Welcome Your first pet stays FREE! Please add additional pets to your reservation. Use the provided dog bed, or if your pup joins you on the queen bed, please put down the pet-paw blanket and keep dogs out of the sheets. Friendly dogs may be supervised off-leash. Please pick up the doo-doo. Our friendly black-and-white ranch dog, Brandon, loves visitors and usually wants to play. If your dog is older, nervous or grumpy, please let us know so everyone gets the space they need. ✨ Bonus Guesthouse Access Hovel House guests often have Guesthouse access from 8 AM–8 PM, including a shower, half bath and full indoor kitchen. It is occasionally reserved as a private venue, so access isn't guaranteed. If Guesthouse access is important to your stay, message before booking to confirm. Plug B (20AMP) at Last Chance Camp!

Complications in our travel plans and poor cell service led to us not being able to make our reservation or cancel appropriately. We were disappointed with ourselves for poor planning and because of how nice the site looked. The communication with the host beforehand was very supportive and we would definitely book the same spot next time we are in the same area. Apologies to Christine
