My homestead is located on 4 1/2 acres of pastureland that currently have no animals. You will turn on Powell rd to reach the back portion. The camping spots are located on the back part of the property and along a refurbished shed that includes 1 added 30 amp plug; interior electric, clean well water delivery or hose filling in warmer months as well as a separately fenced area for visiting canines (Please only non-aggressive breeds unless leashed at your camp). My Golden has an invisible fence and is not allowed to visit campers unless permitted. Fires are only permitted and shared on the back patio of my home. Activities for fun on site include corn hole, firepit on lower patio along with a propane weber grill. Only 2-3 mile from Frontier Park and an electric bike ride to downtown to tour the museums, restaurants and shops.
Currently, new to hip camp and refurbishing the house and exterior so The Shed will be a working/congregating space with refrigerator/freezer, electric cooktop and indoor space with a fan so folks can escape their cars/vans. Wi-Fi is also available in the shed and the surrounding camp areas toward the building.
This was my dream come true property and I'm looking forward to sharing it with road warriors like me. Weather is forever changing here and clouds roll by fast leaving the most fabulous rainbows. I just ask that no fires of any kind be set at your site because the field is a fire hazard in the dry plains.

When the farm house was built in 1909, the cabin was already here. We bought the weed patch with the intention of starting a flower farm. It was a cattle feed lot years ago and the soil should be very fertile. We'll use the composted manure in the Spring.

I would like to invite you to join us at a beautiful lakefront property on the East side of Jackson Reservoir. It is a wonderful spot for a getaway, though the experience is a bit rustic.
Please keep in mind that we are offering dry camping, so you should plan accordingly or bring a generator. Also, be aware that the access road is currently rough terrain and not yet smooth. While campers are welcome, the bumps in the road could potentially cause damage, so please use your best judgment regarding your vehicle.

We do have honey bee hives on property, which are located with the Yellow X waypoint. You are more than welcome to view them if you would like, just please do not touch the hives or any of their watering frames which are black.
We also have Chicken coops on property with 26 hens and 2 roosters which are located at the red waypoint with the bird. They do enjoy going up to people and eating out of hands. They might peck slightly when trying to eat though. The 2 roosters do protect their hens.
Park vehicle in the blue highlighted area as to not have vehicle traffic in the grassed areas down the tree rows. Also, to not have someone accidentally run over a small tree. Please watch out for pink flags. Those markers are for smaller trees so they are easy to spot and not broken down by stepping on them. You are more than welcome to drive along the right side of the property just past the blue area to the back pasture area if you need to for unloading gear for the back wooded tent sites.

We had a wonderful, quiet stay camping right on the water at Jackson Lake. It was the perfect base for kayaking and paddle boarding, and our dogs absolutely loved being able to jump straight into the water. The views are incredible, and the atmosphere is very relaxing.
Site Access & Tips:
Accessing the site required driving through some grass; we used 4WD, which would definitely be necessary if the ground was wet, though a standard vehicle should be fine in dry conditions. There were some gnats, mosquitoes and ticks during our visit, but the host was very responsive and plans to keep the grass mown and add a fire pit and table soon, which will be awesome additions to the site!
Overall, a beautiful spot for a peaceful waterfront escape. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great little spot tucked among all the farm fields! We were able to sleep in an old grainery instead of our tent and it was amazing! Jana and Tim were so nice, checked to make sure we had everything we needed and invited us to have coffee with them in the morning, although we didn’t take them up on it. Great value and great stop on our drive to the Dakotas; we couldn’t ask for anything more.

This is a beautiful part of Colorado with a abundance of nature including chickens, Prairie dogs, all sorts of birds and more. Flat tent site and rugged was a enjoyable stay.

Weekend Trip to Silent "P" Ranch
Such a peaceful getaway! The sheep wagon was clean and cozy and the location was wonderful - so quiet that all you could hear were the birds or the wind. A lovely cat walked us to the barn bathroom and back and all the horses were friendly - perfect if you’re a farm animal lover!

Simple, lovely experience. Our teardrop trailer tucked into its space next to the two horses and the chicken barn, our 8-year-old fed carrots and chickens to Richard and Fred (he renamed his equine friends), and we were 10 minutes from the parkour gym where he was competing. Our spot was spacious, our host gracious, the nearby traffic noticeable but muffled and screened, and we relaxed and slept well at our Fort Collins base camp.

Vicki was extremely nice, she welcomed us immediately and made us feel at home, offering for us to come in and join a Kentucky derby watch party that they were having. The spot was clean and well maintained, and the horses and dogs were cute. They were very accommodating with our circumstances, I had to go to sleep and wake up extremely early to run a marathon the next day and she turned the lights off early and was quiet to let us sleep. 5 stars!

Vicky is very nice and welcoming, beautiful property well maintained very laid back atmosphere. Horses and farm animals very friendly, wish my dogs were as friendly to people they don't know. LOL overall a great experience, would highly recommend this property

I loved this campsite & it had all the amenities you could ask for! Plenty of open space & it was very cozy & the other campers were very helpful and friendly. Christine was very helpful too & even informed me of upcoming events in the area, will definitely come back this summer :-) 10/10 🌟

Camped here at two different locations on the Grasslands. It is very scenic and beautiful but Oil truckers and wind turbines are everywhere. It is very primitive you must bring your own water. Great place to bird and see wildlife.
