The Last Resort
We had a great time staying in one of the granaries. It was quiet, peaceful, and perfect. Jana was an amazing host. Enjoyed my conversation with her when she brought out coffee for my sons and I. Very welcoming and shares tips/tricks for getting around Cheyenne during Frontier Days. We would’ve driven definitely stay again!

The Last Resort
A great location just far enough away from I-80 to not hear the highway noise, but close enough for a convenient stop on our road trip. Jana and Tim were warm and hospitable and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Jana gave us good suggestions for stops along the way. We had a stunning sunset and starry skies.

We found a gem tucked away in the farmland of eastern Wyoming. Jana and Tim have impeccable hospitality and welcomed us warmly. You can’t go wrong choosing The Last Resort! We sure are thankful we did. Take them up on coffee before you hit the road…you will be glad you did!

Great place to stop in and spend the night. Hosts are super nice and welcoming and convenient to I-80.
So quiet. Super friendly and helpful. Has chickens they are so cute. Lots of wild rabbits. Highly recommend
Great little spot tucked among all the farm fields! We were able to sleep in an old grainery instead of our tent and it was amazing! Jana and Tim were so nice, checked to make sure we had everything we needed and invited us to have coffee with them in the morning, although we didn’t take them up on it. Great value and great stop on our drive to the Dakotas; we couldn’t ask for anything more.
Wonderful stay with wonderful people! We love the area and the next day had coffee while we visited with Jana, her husband and father. They are some of the nicest people we have ever met. They had full hookups and a lot of room on a huge farm. We will be sure to stay there again when we come through the next time. I highly recommend!!!

This was an awesome stay! Jana accommodated a last minute late arrival and was such a pleasure to meet. She was communicative, the space was clean, and the property absolutely beautiful! I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.
First thing’s first: Jana and Tim are the loveliest, most welcoming hosts. One of my favorite parts of this Hipcamp stay was sitting down with them and enjoying conversation over coffee in the morning before I left. They had great stories and helpful tips for exploring the area by bike, as well as a scenic detour (plus hot springs) as I headed toward my next destination. Beyond this, I had a wonderful experience from the moment I arrived. I caught a beautiful sunset while riding along on the surrounding country roads, followed by a hot shower, and slept soundly under thousands of stars with the distant hum of cows. Had access to a super clean porto right at Camp. I chose a spot behind several rows of trees that Tim and Jana planted almost thirty years ago—the whole area felt private, yet expansive. Can’t recommend this camp, and these hosts enough!!

The Last Resort
Jana and Tim were welcoming. They offered several options of where we could park and pointed out the best direction to see sunrise and sunset. My parents enjoyed having coffee and chatting with them in the morning.
We Loved the dispersed camping experience with the Last Resort. A step back in time camping on a family farm.. BIG SKY.about 3 miles off the interstate 80. All we could hear was crickets.. sunrise and sunset was awesome and Jana and Tim were the warmest of hosts. Tim has a lot of vision for what the property could be and is currently renovating grain bins into cabins.. they have a community fire pit and ensured we had everything we needed. Un expectantly Tim had to help us energize our slide out as out battery went dead.. no problem!
Jana and Tim are THE best! If you're a solo female traveler this is a wonderful place to stop. Its safe, its clean and Tim and Jana treated me like family. Even welcomed me into their home for coffee and breakfast this morning! There is a rustic shower which was perfectly private, comfy and clean but might get a tad cool in the colder seasons, the portable potties were immaculate and Jana and Tim are close enough to reach out to with questions but also feel like youve got privacy. I'll swing by again if I come back on 80 on my way home!!
We can't say enough good things about the Last Resort. Tim and Jana are super friendly and offer assistance well above and beyond what was expected - extra shelter, morning coffee, the cleanest porta-potties we've ever seen, breakfast, a/c power -they even offered to loan tools if we needed any. The chickens made excellent neighbors, and the sunset and sunrise were incredible. We feel like we've made some new friends, and would absolutely come back if we're in the area again.
The fresh-off-the-bush raspberries were the perfect ending to a great stay.

What a great stay! Tim met me as soon as I pulled up and walked me to a great place to park my car. There was another group there at the fire so it was nice to sit and visit with them and Tim. I didn’t take them up on their offer of coffee since I wanted to get on the road. But 10/10 would recommend staying on these extremely kind couples land.

Jana and Tim were the best Hipcamp hosts we’ve met! They really went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed, from offering us a shelter to stay in during stormy weather to having coffee ready for us when we left in the morning. They even brought us gas when one of our motorcycles ran out on our way back to the property. They were so kind and welcoming.
The property was great. It is only a few minutes off the interstate but is still quiet and secluded. There are lots of options of where to set up camp and they have planted tons of trees on the property which helps to provide some shade. There are a few different outhouses that are kept clean and there are also communal fire pits and a grill available for use.
We hope to stay again!
Site is big and quiet. Felt safe. Host greeted us and was welcoming.
Host was welcoming, made you feel like family. Big sky view of all the stars and northern lights. Location was perfect for us.

The Last Resort
We enjoyed our stay at The Last Resort so much! It was a lovely property, even though the weather was not agreeable; cold, rainy, and windy. But we were snug in our campervan, and our hosts met us as we drove in to help us get settled. We were also genuinely touched by their hospitality, which included coffee and breakfast in the morning. They get a 10/10 review from us!

Jana was extremely accomodating when I booked in the middle of a cold snap and it would have been tough for me in my car. She allowed me to cancel within the 24 hr period and went above and beyond when she was making no money. I appreciated the kindness

The Last Resort
Due to unplanned events we arrived very late (4 AM). They were extraordinarily accommodating and gracious. The camping area was beautiful. Very peaceful. Also suggest you check out the converted granaries. They are cute. We hope to make it back for another visit. Put this location on your travel map.
If I had three hands I would give them three thumbs up. Hospitality was amazing and the open Wyoming farm land was beautiful. Our only regret is we left early in the morning and didn't get to tell them thanks and good by.👍👍👍
Jana and Tim are wonderful salt of the earth people who have transformed their property into a rustic camping haven. Really enjoyed my stay. The highlight was great conversation over coffee before hitting the road again. Depending on the season you might want bug spray handy.
LOVE these two hosts. Tim and Jana went above and beyond to make us feel at home and the property they have developed was perfect for our stop on a road trip. We will definitely be coming back!

The Last Resort
There are very few people in the world who are truly kind and giving. We met two of them at the last resort. Tim and Jana were just like old friends. They loaned us a fan to put in our rig when our generator kept tripping out. They provided water so we could fill our tank and they had a wonderful shower where we took hot showers in the morning. Even hot coffee. Such a pleasure to meet Tim and Jana and stay at their lovely property.
I think they should rename this the Friendliest Resort. I was welcomed by the hosts who took the time to get to know me for a few minutes and help me find a nice spot for my camper. The grounds are peaceful and pleasant, and I had a nice walk around the perimeter in the evening.
It was quiet at night and it seems that even the rooster sleeps in, I didn’t hear a peep before seven thirty. (I purposely chose the spot right next to the chickens but you could easily find a location further away).
Jana and her husband offered to help with anything I needed and offered coffee in the morning.
It was easy to get to and she provided excellent directions.
