Beautiful sunrises greet you in the morning, and breathtaking sunsets over the Front Range say goodnight at the end of the day. We are located on 35 acres just east of Denver International Airport. The views of the airport, along with airplanes flying in and out, provide an interesting contrast against the mountain backdrop. The property is farmland, although we practice no-till farming and do our best to minimize our impact on local wildlife. A diverse population of birds calls the property home, with burrowing owls being our favorite. You may also spot the occasional antelope or deer. At night, you'll hear the coyote packs that live in the area. While we've never had any incidents, we still recommend keeping pets indoors at night. Meanwhile, enjoy the stars, as there is very little light pollution and the sky is clear most nights. Mornings and evenings are the most beautiful, but it can get quite hot during the middle of the day since there is no shade at the campsites. Shade tents and umbrellas are recommended, weather and wind permitting. We are located on the eastern plains, where the wind can sometimes become a nuisance. Although windstorms usually don't last more than a few hours, there is often a steady breeze throughout much of the day. Enjoy!

A peaceful site that sits a little lower on the property near a shallow ravine. A mound to the north provides better windbreak than other sites without sacrificing the view!

I took my van there last minute Saturday night, and showed up around 3. The Nate me at front and showed me to my spot and we chatted a bit and he followed me on Instagram so I that was super cool. Since I do a van life vlog. Very gracious and nice. The spot was great. There are giant houses in the distance but they are far enough away that it still feels private. And the second site was far down too. It's basic right now, no electric or toilet but there is water. Nate says they are working on those upgrades soon so I can't wait to see how it progresses. I like that the site is close ish to town, and it's like 15 minutes from my actual house. The price is great too for what it is. I can't wait to see how they fix it up! Maybe a bit more privacy from the surrounding houses would be cool. Some bushes or trees or partition of some sort but don't trust my opinion. I will be back.

It worked for our truck and camper while working at the airport for the week. Hot during the day but nice cool down when sun is down and breeze blows. We had solar and big battery for AC so no power or on site water was no issue. The available water was a bonus for us. The sunsets were amazing!

Spent 2 evenings on Illana & Nate’s land. They’re incredibly kind hosts! I was traveling alone and felt totally safe here. I showed up pretty late, and they made sure I got to my site safely. The site was perfect - nice picnic table and even a hammock stand! Watching the planes ascend while the sunset from the quiet of my camp was incredibly special. And of course, the stargazing is a must out here. Will definitely be back if I’m in the area.

For me the view was great! I was caught in a hail storm it was quick but still hit hard. It happens it's mother nature. But on my partners point of view as host they left us hanging, understandably stuff was going on for all of us but my partner says that was poor hosting and could have at least showed their face and is grateful for their neighbors! (Because of the storm our tent was blown in, everything was soaked and heavy and car stuck, their neighbors helped pull our things through tuff mud) (Host were kind and offered many different things but during the moment that matter they were no where to be seen) All in all bad day great people/property.

I loved this little spot! I’ve never used this app. But this family was so warm & welcoming. Super helpful since i wasn’t fully prepared for my trip. Helped & offered things i didn’t have. They communicated with no problem. I’d definitely come back again.

Ilana and Nate are fantastic hosts who give off really great vibes. They were super responsive and helpful throughout my stay. The site is located in the grassland, but don't let that deter you; it’s about 400 yards away from the nearest house and offers beautiful, unobstructed views in all directions. The stargazing here is incredible, and you can even see the DIA terminal lit up far off on the horizon at night. Overall, it's an amazing spot for a very good price. I was happy to be their very first Hipcamp guest!
