Our family-owned noncommercial ranch/campground is nestled against the Raspberry Butte hillside and near the Front Range Mountains on the West side of Highway I-25. It is 51 acres of rolling hills, Ponderosa Pine, and Douglas Fir Trees. Our property extends halfway up Raspberry Butte therefore there are lots of large rocks on our property. It is a working ranch with several horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, ducks, and dogs. WE ARE EXPECTING BABY GOATS AND A FOAL IN APRIL 2024. It is our goal to constantly work towards improving our property. On our property you will see an enclosure with Nigerian Dwarf goats, chickens, ducks, and two donkeys. You can enter the enclosure by appointment only. Our eight-stall barn is where we feed our horses and raise our baby goats, chicks, and foals. We offer our hip campers an opportunity to learn how to care for our animals; horseback rides in a round pen; and a dump station. Just sign up at the time you book your stay under EXTRAS. Thirty acres of our property are fenced for the horses and located directly behind the campsites. In addition, we have lots of wildlife including but not limited to: Deer, Elk, Coyotes, Bobcats, Wild Turkeys, Mountain Lions, Snakes, and Bears. We are approximately 2 miles from the town of Larkspur between Spruce Mountain Road and Perry Park Road. (Please note Google Maps will try and send you to a location on Perry Park Road which is incorrect. Please refer to the map located on this website.) Due to our remote location, we have spotty Wifi. Typically ATT, Starlink, and TMobile work best. Verizon reception can be located at certain spots around our ranch. There are three restaurants located in the town of Larkspur including pizza, Mexican food, and a pub. There is also a large park with lots of kids' play equipment. During the summer there are concerts at the park on the weekends. We are approximately 2 miles from the Colorado Renaissance Festival located in Larkspur. The Renaissance Festival typically runs between June and July. We are 10 miles from the town of Palmer Lake which has fishing, kayaking, and several restaurants. Spruce Mountain hiking trails are 2-3 miles away. We are approximately 40 miles north of Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Seven Falls, and Manitou Springs. We are approximately 40 miles south of Denver and all of its attractions. Campers will be required to sign a Waiver and Release of Liability when camping with us. Great property for families!
Despite the weather, we really enjoyed our stay at Teresa’s ranch. We were looking for something close to home for our first trip with our pop-up camper and definitely chose the right place. The campsites are well maintained and all pretty flat. We stayed in campsite 5 and it was perfect. Our camper is about 25’ fully popped out and we had plenty of space for our truck. We opted in to help feed the animals and go in the petting zoo. My son (4) was thrilled to meet the baby goats and help collect the eggs. Their pregnant Mare had her baby on our last night so we got to see her before we left. I wish we could’ve stayed longer and gone for a horseback ride. Unfortunately, we had to pack up in the rain because our son started to feel sick. Teresa was so kind and offered to let us wait out the rain in their like garage area. I would recommend Teresa’s ranch to anyone, especially families with younger kids. The place is easy to get to from the highway and very close to town. Larkspur has a really great park and the Mexican restaurant is worth checking out for lunch or dinner! Google maps has Fox Farm Rd & West Fox Farm Rd mixed up, so if using make sure to type in West Fox Farm Rd (even though it isn’t actually on west).

Teresa was amazing! She spent so much time with us showing how to care for the animals and gave my girls an unforgettable experience on the horses. The campsite was so picturesque. We would definitely stay here again.

Great farm site, great host
Very quiet, easy to find, plenty of both shade and sun depending on the weather. It was windy but the trees broke the wind and the site stayed pleasant. Teresa is a wonderful and personable host- she stopped by with the waiver I needed to sign along with fresh eggs, right from their chicken coop! What a nice welcome.

Perfect for first timers!
Took my 2-year-old camping here for the first time. Teresa made us feel very welcome by opening up the barn to us to see the new baby goats! She even offered up ways to make my daughter more comfortable during our stay. Will definitely be back.
