Peaceful Ranch Campground amenities: All up the Hill By the Office/RV,
Bathroom, Shower, Washer, Dryer, an extra large sink to do dishes. Hiking trails marked down up the hill (KARMAS TRAIL and down the hill (PEACES TRAIL)
Let's talk Bear.
*BEAR TRASH. There are two BEAR TRASH one at the bottom of the hill
but only Until 9PM, and the other on top of the hill. Remember never leave trash on your site, burn your trash too. Trash bags everything.
* BEAR BOX * Before Bed Leave your cooler and dry goods here, lock box and leave the key on padlock. Get rid of all your trash before bed and when you
check-out. Never sleep with trash around you. NEVER LEAVE TRASH in BEAR BOX. Dry Goods only.
FIRES: Fires OUT Before Bed use as much water as you can to put your fire out.
No fires outside firepits. Fires out before 10PM.
Please be considered to other campers and their pets.
DOGS: Pick up after your dogs, leash or not, you know your dog.
ELEVATION SICKNESS: DRINK WATER, go to lower elevation for kids.
TRASH gets Bears and Wildlife euthanized or removed from here. Please look after our bears and moose, and mainly yourselves.

Located only 25 minutes away from Breckenridge Ski resort.
Downtown South Park is just 10 minutes away from campground, and offers stores for fishing gear, restaurants, wine bars, and excellent Mexican food. The grocery store is right on 285 Highway, which leads to Denver or Buena Vista.
The towns of Alma and Fairplay are located at 10,000 Ft Elevation high, both have a history of gold dredging, with some placer gold operations still active.
Peaceful ranch was part of a mining project, and some mine entrances were closed by my husband Jay when we first moved here.
