Camp Lake View
Great views and wide open spaces. As Zach calls out, it can get very windy here out of no where but overall nothing we couldn't handle. Would stay again.

Camp Lake View
Our stay at Camp Lake View was amazing. Beautiful views and away from the chaos of camping shoulder to shoulder at the park. We will definitely be back.

Perfect for kids and dogs
This spot was wonderful! It was perfect for the kids and dogs to run around. It's a quick drive to the lake and totally worth being further away for the space and privacy. We will be back!

Nice private spot to camp
Great place to hang out. Nobody was around and had a nice view of the reservoir. The site was wide open without any trees so the views were unobstructed.
Be prepared for washboard roads to get there. Also, you'll need to fill up your trailer or RV with fresh water before getting to the area as the marina did not have water available and the campgrounds nearby will not let you fill up with water unless you're staying there.

Beautiful, private, and quiet
Beautiful, private, and quiet (except an occasional moo from a local).

Camp Lake View
Great place, quiet, beautiful. There's really nothing around, so being self-contained is a must; but it's well worth it if you want endless rolling hills and beautiful vistas.
The last ~5 miles of roads are riddled with potholes, Cows, and Pronghorns, so take it slow.

Windy, desolate and isolated with spectacular views. We wanted all these things, and if that's what you are looking for this site is perfect.

Private & Close to Reservoir
This site is perfect if you want some private, off-the-grid location. We brought a camper and Zach told us where to find a dump station, best spots to fish, and gave us accurate directions. On your way to the site, you’ll see roaming pronghorn antelope and donkeys along the road. The reservoir was beautiful and very close to the campsite, without having to share space with any one else. Highly recommend and bring your bikes because it’s a great place to ride around and explore.

We pulled into a clean sight with beautiful views all around. Instructions to get there were clear and precise. Zach was responsive to our texts during the trip and after. We are looking forward to going back.

Heaven on Earth
I would absolutely come here again! Place is gorgeous.
We came prepared to fight the elements such as rain and strong wind (which was definitely present in the evening) But we were comfortable in any weather!
The best part was how secluded yet open the space was...total privacy and quiet. The views were spectacular and it was easy to find things to do around the area.
Loved every minute!

Great view & fishing opportunities
Views of the Eleven Mile Reservoir were lovely. There was no one else around us, no houses or other campers at all - so it was very private. Our dog loved running around and exploring. The boys rode their bikes around the property and chased grasshoppers.
As mentioned in the property description, there is a nominal grade. We put about 3” of leveling blocks on one side of the camper, to be broadside to the lake. This made for a wonderful sunrise view across the lake at breakfast.
The marina is a twenty minute drive away and we rented a canoe and a small fishing boat for a couple of hours one day. The campgrounds at the lake were jam packed which made us appreciate our hipcamp camping spot even more.
There are several fishing access points near the property, for spincast or fly fishing.
We had some rain and wind during our stay in early July, especially overnight. In this part of Colorado, you must have mosquito spray, wherever you go.
