We recently stayed at Wonderlust Off-Grid Camper for a family camping trip. The host was very responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with. She was also kind enough to take care of the trash after our stay.
The campsite was private, and the kids loved having the trampoline and swings. However, the trampoline was pictured with a safety net in the listing, but there was no net when we arrived.
Unfortunately, the biggest concerns were the cleanliness and condition of the RV. It appeared quite worn and in need of maintenance. There was dog hair all over the bed, and I wasn’t sure if the sheets had been freshly washed. We also found a mouse inside the RV and mouse droppings.
There was also dog poop right by the swings from previous campers.
The windows appeared to be sealed with duct tape, and cold air was coming in from several areas including the door. There was a propane heater and extra blankets, which were helpful, although I wasn’t comfortable sleeping with the heater running. The RV also had a strong chemical/pesticide-like odor that remained even after ventilating.
The scenery was mostly flat and open, with no trees around the campsite and mountains farther in the distance.
Overall, we appreciated the privacy, the host, and the activities for the kids. However, I think the RV needs significant attention to cleanliness, pest control, and maintenance before we would consider staying again.
