My mom and I stayed here for a night in the basecamp A-frame. Very peaceful with some rain so we got to see a rainbow since we were able to open up the side of the a frame overlooking a great view of the property. Stephanie was very friendly and answered any questions we had. Outdoor shower was excellent and porta potty was clean as well. Next time Im in Colorado.. I will definitely stay again!

This place was perfect for us - the A-Frame we stayed in was incredible! This was the perfect getaway from Denver for us and we would love to stay there again. 10/10 would recommend!

A-frame site was so much fun! Comes with a light and plenty of room to see the stars! The horses were friendly, communication was great, and the A frame was something special. AMAZING views and two person hot showers under the stars! Close to a bar and grille, coffee shop, and liquor store!

I will definitely be recommending to friends! The star-gazer A-frame was the perfect glamping experience. It’s just far enough from the city to feel surrounded by nature but doesn’t take a whole day to get to.
A few standouts:
-The A-frame was very clean and had the ability to close entirely so there were no bugs.
-Lots of stars were visible.
-The porta-potty was probably the cleanest one I’ve ever encountered.
-Beautiful views and chairs already on the A-frame porch, we got to watch the wildlife which included an owl and a rabbit!
David and Stephanie (hosts) were extremely hospitable, accommodating and had great communication. Their instructions were very organized and easy to understand. Wonderful stay!

My toddler and I stayed in the Stargazer, and it was such a thoughtful, rustic experience. The hosts call their ranch "bare bones", which feels more humble than accurate--everything is simple, but functional, clean, and clearly arranged with intention. There are small personal touches throughout that make the space feel cared for.
The Stargazer sits a bit farther back on the property, so it felt like our own little pocket of space. Inside, there's a mattress that functions as a sleeping pad, and it made a HUGE difference in comfort. Between the stargazing panel, quiet scenery, and decorative touches, the frame had tons of personality without feeling cluttered. The jute rug is cute but also sheds a lot, so just a heads up.
The outdoor shower surprised me in the best way: full privacy, instant hot water, extra soap, and the novelty of rinsing off outside in warm weather! The porta potty is by the main gate, which may matter to some guests, but was extremely clean and paired with a self-pumping sink (which my toddler loved).
The ranch itself is beautiful--a mix of open fields, trees, wildlife, and a good mix of good mix of sun and shade. Some paths are uneven or slightly overgrown, but it honestly adds to the natural setting.
Communication from the hosts was also excellent. They provided detailed instructions and videos ahead of time, so arrival and set up was easy. Overall this is a great stay for anyone who appreciates a handcrafted, outdoors-focused experience.

The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. Gave us space but made sure to let them know if we needed anything. The property and A-frames are amazing and such a wonderful place to escape without have to drive far. 10/10

Cute little nested spot. Neighboring houses, also additional sites where others are staying. So, if you are looking for more or complete solitude choose the A-frame furthest from house. Very quiet community. Good experience with access to outdoor shower and toilet area.

The Stargazer A frame cabin we stayed in was incredible. The sites are relatively close together but are extremely well placed so you still get privacy and good views. We made a fire in the firepit and lounged in the hammock before going to bed. The weather got gloomy but it was so cozy inside that it wasn't a problem, even without heat/electricity. After the storm had passed we went outside in the dark and the sky was absolutely gorgeous and starry. Very peaceful and much needed.

Beautiful land, breathtaking views day and night. Easy to get to. Only a 40 minute gorgeous drive from Red Rocks where we saw the last ever Tipper show. Super romantic and just lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

A perfect getaway, comfy, cozy, and quiet. We woke up to mule deer and birds and took an incredible nap during a light rainstorm. David was kind and communicated with us with no issues at all.

It’s a fine place. The grounds need to be cleared and maintained a bit more. When we visited, the picnic table had tall grass growing underneath and around it. None of the tables were level. All of the paths were too narrow through tall grass. We did not use the shower after seeing privacy was a little less than desired. A table or prep area near the fire pit would be a good addition.

Great spot. The tent platform was a perfect place to pitch my set up. Deer rabbits and tons of birds where about the whole time I was there. Gorgeous sunrise over the mountain in the morning. Had I not already made other plans further south I’d have stayed a few more days. Thanks

We loved staying at the basecamp A-frame for a night! The little cabin was beautiful, cozy, and quiet, and the views were excellent. The porta potty was super clean and the outdoor shower was really lovely and warm. Would definitely recommend for a getaway!

This spot was lovely. I hung out with a deer eating grass like 20 feet away and got some beautiful sunsets. The videos were really helpful in knowing exactly what to expect and where to go.

This is honestly the best glamping experience ever! We stayed in Basecamp, although the sun can be a bit tough in the morning opening up the A frame helps a lot! There's a porta potty, a sink to wash your hands, and the property is very beautiful. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a great time at David's aframe. We ended up upgrading to the aframe last minute, and he was so flexible and accommodating. It's also only 30 mins from Red Rocks, and the location is beautiful. I would recommend and visit again!
