Experience a night on a bustling cattle ranch. Johansing Farms provides a rustic, dry campsite accessible via a dirt road, ensuring seclusion and tranquility. Nestled within a 6500-acre ranch, the panoramic views are endless. The ranch features activities such as horseback riding, hiking, and biking. Beyond cattle ranching, we grow and sale hay. Accommodations include tent camping, RVs with dry hookups, a pavilion for relaxation, or a bunkhouse with a fireplace and dinning room table to enjoy on those cold nights. Newly added, we now have a silo featuring a king-size bed, available for anyone seeking a place to rest their head. We absolutely loved our experience at the farm, the hosts could not have been any nicer and it was exactly what we needed after a less than perfect experience at another Hipcamp the night before. I can’t wait to go back again and spend more time at the farm. First time I’ve ever had a host pre light a fire for us as well, they definitely went above and beyond for us and made our visit very memorable.

We spent two wonderful days at this property. The place is beautiful, surrounded by pastures and vineyards, and the owners are incredibly kind and helpful. We mentioned that we wanted to have a BBQ for dinner, and they provided us with a wood-burning grill, complete with firewood and fire starters. We cooked one of their rib-eyes — absolutely delicious! It was our first experience with a wood-fired BBQ, and we loved it! The property also has a fire pit. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you!

Loved staying in the Silo here, the owners were so nice and showed us the way to the campground taking us on a beautiful drive through their lands. everything was set up wonderfully for us, would definitely stay here again, thanks for everything!

Very nice quiet place to spend the night and enjoy the scenery. We were greeted by the host, they were very nice and welcoming. They offered meat for sale in the future visits and even showed us the near by cattle. We will definitely plan on a big group next time.

Holy cow, this place is amazing! The scenery is stunning, the camp is charming, the hosts are so kind and the beef is delicious (yes, you can buy their beef while there too). This is new to hip camp, but I can tell you right now, its going to be a very popular spot. I highly recommend it!

Wow - Johansing farms is one of those slices of heaven that we have been so lucky to be invited into. Will & Jesse (and their two girls) were the most welcoming, made sure we had everything we needed and answered all of our questions about the property with smiles on their faces. You can tell they have poured a lot of love into this land. We will definitely be coming back and telling all of our friends about it!

The S'more the Merrier Campground

My wife and I, along with our dog, had a wonderful time staying here in our camper van. It was cool to be in such a private and beautiful setting on a working ranch, complete with freely grazing cattle, soaring redtail hawks, and playful coyotes howling in the distance. We were welcomed by Will, who told us about this place that his grandparents started in 1974, and encouraged us to explore to our hearts' content. It was lovely.

Had the pleasure of staying here for the new year . I was lucky enough to have the whole place to myself too! They have a cute little cabin that actually saved me from the wind. I usually stay in my tent but it was so windy my tent kept trying to fly away. There are cute horse parking spaces . The owner Jesse was saying their place is usually for people with horses but they accommodate. It was so close to the field of light Sensorio which was the main place I wanted to go for the holiday . But if I’m ever camping in the area again. I’d recommend this place.
