We offer a parking spot at night to have a quick safe place to stay. We do not allow the camper to stay multiple continuous days without leaving as you must leave during the day time, but are welcome to return at night.
---We sometimes have Buses leaving or returning to our facility late at night, so just know you might hear a large bus pulling in late at night.
---PLEASE DO NOT block our Iron Gate with the H on it, or stick out into the entrance of the facility. If you stick out too far, you need to park North to South , which is parallel to the wood fence with the customer parking signs on it. You can block the handicap signs also if needed. You are also welcome to park in between the building and the front garden bed area as well if you prefer. The ground is not too level there, so you will need to level your rv.

We are campers ourselves so, we get it! If you're someone who loves camping, glamping or pitching a tent and need a place, we are here for you! We are just 5.4 miles from the NEW Ford Amphitheatre venue. 3 miles from our NEW grocery store. We are on the property ourselves. We are right off a main road with easy access to town, yet you will feel you are in the woods surrounded by nature. We don't have hookups but we do have a water pump and a basic electrical outlet if you need. There's a large firepit that you're welcome to use if there isn't a fire ban in place. The property is fenced and the spot is level. If you need a bit more privacy or a place for additional guests, we have a small cabin that is also for rent on the property! We have almost 40 acres of beautiful land that is scattered trees in a field and more forested areas. We also have mountain views depending on where you stay! We are right next door to the Pineries Open Space which is a 9 mile trail that you can hike, bike, or horse ride on. It also connects (by crossing a road) to Section 16 which is another 4 mile trail. You can bring your own horses and for a $50 fee we will set up corral panels for your horses to stay. We have farm animals that will be wondering about the land at times. We have water up at our home that you can use to fill up your campers with water or any water containers you need to fill. The park, that you would have a gate to walk through that connects to our property, has a vault toilet. At certain times we offer farm experiences at additional charges. There is a small corner store a couple of miles away, a local feed store where you can buy hay for tour horses, a little local coffee shop and small cafe as well. Come enjoy the country life just minutes from town!
Because we also use our land to graze our animals, we ask that only one vehicle be parked at the site at a time. We have a place for parking additional vehicles if you have more than 1 vehicle.

Tons of animals around, and Dan was incredibly kind — he spent time with our daughter teaching her about the wildlife and nature on the property, which was one of the highlights of the trip for her. The hot water heater went out during our stay and Dan got up early to replace it, which we really appreciated. Would happily stay again.

This space was perfect for what we needed. It was nice to be close to the town but also felt like we were actually camping. Our camper fit great in the space provided and the pull through made it easy to maneuver. The host was easy to work with and so helpful. She went out of her way to recommend things to do in Colorado Springs! She was lovely. Highly recommend!
In case you can’t tell, the owner’s house is very close, and there is a small cabin they rent out as well. The fire-pit is a communal space. There was no other campers using her land when we visited so it felt like our own, I am not sure I would have liked it as much if there were other random campers hanging out around the fire-pit roasting marshmallows with my family and I.

Joshua’s place is just what we needed. From the open space, the views, the visit from a deer and the calls of several pheasants, everything was great.
We had the run of a large pasture. The kids could be kids and we could relax in quiet and solitude.
Highly recommend and would go back if we are in the area again.

Jenna and her husband and children have a beautiful property and a full critter farm in the Black Forest. They provide the option to see the animals, which turned out to be one none of the highlights of our trip! Jenna was very responsive and also offered a lot of great suggestions of things to see and do in the local community. There’s a flat gravel parking spot perfect for RVs and it is extremely private. It’s also walking distance to the Pineries park (great for hiking and bike riding!). Super cool couple, we’d visit again!

Weekend Trip to Asha's Retreat
This little slice of heaven in the woods is a gem. Quiet, serene and peaceful, we really enjoyed our time here. Equipped nicely, fresh linens and towels and all. The loft sleeping place was just what we needed after days filled with hiking. Kitchen was perfect for making our meals. We loved this place and plan to be back.

We enjoyed our stay on Mike and Holly’s land. The space was big enough for our Class A and the spot was pretty level. Our kids enjoyed the wooded area with the hammock and a little cabin. We appreciated the set up with picnic tables and a few chairs we could lounge in without having to drag out all our stuff. It was peaceful in the morning and quiet enough we could hear the birds. It was much better than staying in a typical RV park with everyone so close together. We would definitely consider staying again in the future.

The cabin its self was great, it had lots of stuff needed for your basic camping activities. We realized there were lots of extra items/tools that were available that we didn’t think about ahead of time.
The area around was so neat and definitely a nice quiet place to stay! It was even a more convenient area to stay, we were within distance to see the Florissant fossil beds, Cheyenne zoo, garden of the gods & more!
Dan was awesome & super attentive. He knew a lot of cool history about the area, had lots of recommendations of things to do, and went the extra mile so we could see the wildlife!
We appreciate the hospitality and highly recommend staying here!

Kyle does still own the property and was very helpful when I called, worried after I saw the review that he didn’t. It’s just as described, a plot of land to camp on without amenities. Price seemed a little steep for just a place to park, but there are not many options in the area so I was glad to have a quiet place to rest.

I recently stayed at Yakalo Ranch Pipeline Camp and absolutely loved it. The site is beautiful, quiet, and incredibly peaceful. There’s a gorgeous creek running right by the tent site that made the whole experience feel relaxing and secluded.
The camp is about 7 miles up the mountain, so it feels far enough away to really disconnect and enjoy nature, while still being accessible. My dogs had the absolute time of their lives exploring, splashing around, and enjoying all the open space.
It was the perfect spot to unwind, recharge, and just enjoy the outdoors for a while. We’ll definitely be back.

Jeremy has a wonderful spot here. I enjoyed the camping thoroughly - quiet and beautiful. The disc golf course is fantastic, although the terrain and wind got the better of this flatlander. It's in a great location for taking advantage of the nearby attractions without being in the thick of tourists.
When i was leaving, I zigged when I should have zagged and ended up taking the ~25 Mike Phantom Valley Road. While it happened as a fortunate accident, I'd highly recommend this alternative as the views are spectacular.

What an incredible spot to stay. We were on the road just passing through and didn’t have time or energy to find a campground so we ran across this amazing spot right across from the red rocks open space. It was perfect and just what we needed for a safe easy stop for the night.
We hiked 6 miles the next morning with our two dogs
The host was amazing and communication was great. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again.!!!
