This camp is set on our personal property with 5.5 acres connected to national forests it is 20 minutes away from town and 17 minutes away from some of the best trout fishing in the state. On our property we have a mini farm with chickens, sheep, horses and three curious dogs. You will hear the sheep calling for breakfast. This camp overlooks the lower section of the property where the horse roam. You can walk right off the property to explore the beautiful national forest. There is a moderate trail of 2.5 miles , or you can explore beyond. We are so close to the oh trails located at the front of our neighborhood.

No running water Nov thru April. Plenty of Potable water provided for cooking, cleaning and hygiene. Escape the city and find this magical semi-off-grid treasure. Treehouse Magic sits on an 80-acre horse ranch 6476 feet above Sea level (+ 20 feet for the treehouse!!) Built by hand, with love, and a little help from our friends over a 4-year period. Treehouse Magic is built around PAL an over 80+-year-old Ponderosa Pine.
This wonderful space is magical in every way! Only 300 sq. feet with an almost 1100 sq. foot deck, including the covered gnome room. The upstairs bedroom is a full mattress (14" gel mattress). There is also a fold-out couch to sleep 1. The main level couch will fold down and become another bed platform. We provide a CordaRoys transformable chair, that unzips and becomes the bed topper (plus extra sheets, blankets and pillows). Some of the kid guests like to sleep in the Gnome room in the "pop-up" tent and cots (during the Summer months). We provide a "smart movie projector" with built-in ROKU, for a movie night...The outdoor kitchen includes a PitBoss pellet smoker/grill, and propane griddle. The kitchen has a 2-burner gas stove and a small refrigerator. The bathroom has a Nature's Head composting toilet... (a little tutorial is needed) a sink and a trough step-in tub/shower with rain head. Wifi- Roku on inside TV as well or just the calm of beautiful nature!
Please note: This is a real treehouse!! Running water will be turned off from Nov-April (except for warm days and we can turn on for a short time). We will be sure you have plenty of potable water for drinking and using.

We are just 5.4 miles from the NEW Ford Amphitheatre venue. 3 miles from our NEW grocery store. We are on the property ourselves. Diane is so sweet and showed us all of their beautiful friendly animals and plants when we arrived and even offered fresh goat milk and a plant starter! We have almost 40 acres of beautiful land that is scattered trees in a field and more forested areas. We also have mountain views depending on where you stay! We are right next door to the Pineries Open Space which is a 9 mile trail that you can hike, bike, or horse ride on. It also connects (by crossing a road) to Section 16 which is another 4 mile trail. You can bring your own horses and for a $50 fee we will set up corral panels for your horses to stay. We have farm animals that will be wondering about the land at times. We have water up at our home that you can use to fill up your campers with water or any water containers you need to fill. The park, that you would have a gate to walk through that connects to our property, has a vault toilet. At certain times we offer farm experiences at additional charges. There is a small corner store a couple of miles away, a local feed store where you can buy hay for tour horses, a little local coffee shop and small cafe as well. Come enjoy the country life just minutes from town!
Because we also use our land to graze our animals, we ask that only one vehicle be parked at the site at a time. We have a place for parking additional vehicles if you have more than 1 vehicle.

We all enjoyed the treehouse so much! There were activities for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, so no one was ever bored. The sleeping accommodations were comfortable, and the treehouse décor was absolutely adorable and thoughtfully designed.
The hosts had everything set up perfectly for movie nights, and we ended up having two during our stay—which the kids absolutely loved! The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed.
If you’re looking for a fun, unique, and memorable treehouse experience, I highly recommend checking this place out. We can’t wait to come back!

It was incredible. The views. The outdoor cooking. The sunrise. The little a frame & the cute designs. The cool solar-powered lanterns that flicker like real lights! I was delighted to see I could make tea (which I did) and we thoroughly enjoyed our smores by the fire. Would definitely stay again, and would definitely recommend (already have 😉)

It's a beautiful property! It is family friendly. There are several spots on the land but definitely space between. The higher up sites might be better for privacy. The Porto potties are very clean. The only complaint we had is that our site, hidden glen was very uneven so it was hard to find very level spots for our tables, chairs and tent.

Site 3 was a gorgeous camp site. Nature at its best. Very private. Somewhat pricey given that there were no camping amenities such as flush toilets or showers. But it was an absolutely beautiful location. If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful campsite, Mercy Meadows (site 3) is for you!

This was our first trip with our 3 dogs in our new -to-us RV, and we were definitely spoiled by this place! Site c was beautiful and secluded, just what we wanted for our dogs. One of them is very reactive, and we didn’t see or hear anyone during our 2 night stay, so we all got to truly relax and enjoy the scenery. Our only 2 issues were due to us not knowing our camper well enough yet—the road in was pretty bumpy and knocked off part of one of our leveling feet, because we didn’t have a good feel for our clearance (we don’t have much). Other thing was we had a hard time getting leveled at the site, but this was also the first time we’ve done it somewhere besides our flat driveway. All in all it was a fantastic stay and I’m sure we’ll be back!!

Nice location as you are only a few minutes away from Sunshine Trail / Cathedral Spires (although the trail is closed until July 31st) and the river.

We enjoyed our time at Sunshine Mountain. It was nice to be somewhere quiet and away from the holiday congestion. We wish we had the opportunity to have a fire of some sort but understand why we couldn't due to the fire ban. Regardless we enjoyed our weekend there and hope to have the opportunity to camp here again.

Campsite situated on top of a hill that overlooks tree covered mountains. The view was beautiful, the weather was great, and we even got some up close encounters with wildlife which was pretty cool too.
There's a golf driving range, and a trail that circles the property. We were only here for one night, so we didn't get a chance to see the entire trail.
Would recommend this spot highly for anybody wanting to tent camp!
