This camp is set on our personal property with 5.5 acres connected to national forests it is 20 minutes away from town and 17 minutes away from some of the best trout fishing in the state. On our property we have a mini farm with chickens, sheep, horses and three curious dogs. You will hear the sheep calling for breakfast. This camp overlooks the lower section of the property where the horse roam. You can walk right off the property to explore the beautiful national forest. There is a moderate trail of 2.5 miles , or you can explore beyond. We are so close to the oh trails located at the front of our neighborhood.

Treehouse Magic sits on an 80-acre horse ranch 6476 feet above Sea level (+ 20 feet for the treehouse!!) Built by hand, with love, and a little help from our friends over a 4-year period. Treehouse Magic is built around PAL an over 80+-year-old Ponderosa Pine.
This wonderful space is magical in every way! Only 300 sq. feet with an almost 1100 sq. foot deck, including the covered gnome room. The upstairs bedroom is a full mattress (14" gel mattress). There is also a fold-out couch to sleep 1. The main level couch will fold down and become another bed platform. We provide a CordaRoys transformable chair, that unzips and becomes the bed topper (plus extra sheets, blankets and pillows). Some of the kid guests like to sleep in the Gnome room in the "pop-up" tent and cots (during the Summer months). We provide a "smart movie projector" with built-in ROKU, for a movie night...The outdoor kitchen includes a PitBoss pellet smoker/grill, and propane griddle. The kitchen has a 2-burner gas stove and a small refrigerator. The bathroom has a Nature's Head composting toilet... (a little tutorial is needed) a sink and a trough step-in tub/shower with rain head. Wifi- Roku on inside TV as well or just the calm of beautiful nature!
Please note: This is a real treehouse!! Running water will be turned off from Nov-April (except for warm days and we can turn on for a short time). We will be sure you have plenty of potable water for drinking and using.

We are just 5.4 miles from the NEW Ford Amphitheatre venue. 3 miles from our NEW grocery store. We are on the property ourselves. We offer both tent and RV listings to suit however you like to travel. We have a hot shower, bathroom, picnic tables, potable water, and trash and recycle bins. Our RV listing has both 20 and 30 amp electrical hookup but no water or sewer hookups.

Diane is so sweet and showed us all of their beautiful friendly animals and plants when we arrived and even offered fresh goat milk and a plant starter! We have almost 40 acres of beautiful land that is scattered trees in a field and more forested areas. We also have mountain views depending on where you stay! We are right next door to the Pineries Open Space which is a 9 mile trail that you can hike, bike, or horse ride on. It also connects (by crossing a road) to Section 16 which is another 4 mile trail. You can bring your own horses and for a $50 fee we will set up corral panels for your horses to stay. We have farm animals that will be wondering about the land at times. We have water up at our home that you can use to fill up your campers with water or any water containers you need to fill. The park, that you would have a gate to walk through that connects to our property, has a vault toilet. At certain times we offer farm experiences at additional charges. There is a small corner store a couple of miles away, a local feed store where you can buy hay for tour horses, a little local coffee shop and small cafe as well. Come enjoy the country life just minutes from town!
Because we also use our land to graze our animals, we ask that only one vehicle be parked at the site at a time. We have a place for parking additional vehicles if you have more than 1 vehicle.

We all enjoyed the treehouse so much! There were activities for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, so no one was ever bored. The sleeping accommodations were comfortable, and the treehouse décor was absolutely adorable and thoughtfully designed.
The hosts had everything set up perfectly for movie nights, and we ended up having two during our stay—which the kids absolutely loved! The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed.
If you’re looking for a fun, unique, and memorable treehouse experience, I highly recommend checking this place out. We can’t wait to come back!

It was incredible. The views. The outdoor cooking. The sunrise. The little a frame & the cute designs. The cool solar-powered lanterns that flicker like real lights! I was delighted to see I could make tea (which I did) and we thoroughly enjoyed our smores by the fire. Would definitely stay again, and would definitely recommend (already have 😉)

It was a good location for me to get closer to Denver for an essential vehicle repair. The directions were very clear and I checked in via cell phone right after I left the highway.
What I wasn't prepared for was all the elevation change and dirt road driving that was required to get to the property and then to the house. I had a bit of a challenge finding my site, but I did. The site map could have been a bit more clear (e.g. highlight the required turns) even though most of the decision points were labeled.
The property is huge and magnificent and I wish I could have stayed longer. It's a great place to visit and stay for multiple days. Unfortunately I had an early morning service appointment the next day.

We stayed at the Lookout Post site at Little Scraggy Camp for a quick family tent-camping trip right after the 4th of July, timed around some appointments we had in Denver that week. The campsite was easy to find thanks to their clear directions, and the land itself was beautiful. We had the whole space to ourselves, likely because it was right after the holiday.
I agree with other reviewers that there's some road noise, but it wasn't bad — we sleep with a white noise machine, which helped. It was a nice touch that they provided chairs, especially since our car was already packed full. The boys had a great time, and the porta-potty was close by and clean, with solar-powered lights that made it easy to find at night.
The road in was a little bumpy, but even our low-to-the-ground Honda Civic made it fine as long as we went slow and stayed mindful. We brought a large 4-person tent for my husband and me, plus a small 2-person tent, and both fit perfectly on the site. It was a short trip, but we really enjoyed the campground.

It's a beautiful property! It is family friendly. There are several spots on the land but definitely space between. The higher up sites might be better for privacy. The Porto potties are very clean. The only complaint we had is that our site, hidden glen was very uneven so it was hard to find very level spots for our tables, chairs and tent.
