Twisted Tree Tent-Campsite
Too far from road.
Hike to campsite was too far for supplies. Have to walk to fat for gear. Did not stay. Went to 11 mile Canyon.

Twisted Tree Tent-Campsite
We loved camping at this site! It is a beautiful location, where you feel secluded and you don’t even hear or see the other site.
And the stars on a clear night are incredible!
I will say that the incline from the twisted tree site up to where you park is steep and is a definite workout packing out your camping gear.
But 10 out of 10 recommend, we will definitely be back many more times in the future.

Amenities galore!
This place was perfect for a birthday weekend getaway and we can attest to the fact that the canvas tent truly is weatherproof because we got some serious wind and thunderstorms our first night! The bed is crazy comfortable/warm and not needing to bring chairs or pillows/linens was so convenient! Everything was clean and well maintained, and the only wildlife we saw were birds and squirrels! The only tiny down side is the noise from the highway the site sits off of, but we will definitely be coming back again regardless! Also, it’s 30 mins from Pikes Peak and 5 minutes from Mueller State Park (we did both in one weekend)!

Twisted Tree Tent-Campsite
Amazing property and campsite!
Gorgeous campsite that’s convenient to anything you need. Very secluded and surrounded by large trees. The stars at night are absolutely amazing without all the light pollution. 😌 We came from Denver and it was an easy drive. Definitely trust the reviews when they say you MUST have a 4WD vehicle to navigate the drive in. The walk into the site is very steep, prepare for a workout. Once you’re down in the site, there isn’t much reason to leave anyway. Plenty of fallen trees and branches for the fire pit, and they even provided a camp toilet/tent and folding table. 5 stars and exactly what you’re looking for if you need to get out of your routine and reconnect with nature. The land is beautiful and so fun to explore, we saw a badger and some elk while roaming around. Book it!

"Glamping" Pike's Peak
We loved camping at Andrew and Elissa's land. The bed was comfortable and having the keurig inside the tent was a nice way to start the morning. With bug spray we didn't have too much of a problem with bugs.
