Beautiful sunrises greet you in the morning, and breathtaking sunsets over the Front Range say goodnight at the end of the day.
We are located on 35 acres just east of Denver International Airport. The views of the airport, along with airplanes flying in and out, provide an interesting contrast against the mountain backdrop.
The property is farmland, although we practice no-till farming and do our best to minimize our impact on local wildlife. A diverse population of birds calls the property home, with burrowing owls being our favorite. You may also spot the occasional antelope or deer.
At night, you'll hear the coyote packs that live in the area. While we've never had any incidents, we still recommend keeping pets indoors at night.
Meanwhile, enjoy the stars, as there is very little light pollution and the sky is clear most nights. Mornings and evenings are the most beautiful, but it can get quite hot during the middle of the day since there is no shade at the campsites. Shade tents and umbrellas are recommended, weather and wind permitting.
We are located on the eastern plains, where the wind can sometimes become a nuisance. Although windstorms usually don't last more than a few hours, there is often a steady breeze throughout much of the day.

We loved staying on Tina’s land! Our spot was quiet, peaceful, and tucked away right by the water. Unfortunately, with how little rain there’s been, the water levels were pretty low, but it was still beautiful—and our pup had the best time splashing around! 🐾
We spent the afternoon walking along the sand, relaxing by the water, and watching a storm roll through. Such a peaceful and beautiful place to unwind. We’d definitely stay again!

I took my van there last minute Saturday night, and showed up around 3. The Nate me at front and showed me to my spot and we chatted a bit and he followed me on Instagram so I that was super cool. Since I do a van life vlog. Very gracious and nice. The spot was great. There are giant houses in the distance but they are far enough away that it still feels private. And the second site was far down too. It's basic right now, no electric or toilet but there is water. Nate says they are working on those upgrades soon so I can't wait to see how it progresses. I like that the site is close ish to town, and it's like 15 minutes from my actual house. The price is great too for what it is. I can't wait to see how they fix it up! Maybe a bit more privacy from the surrounding houses would be cool. Some bushes or trees or partition of some sort but don't trust my opinion. I will be back.

Spent 2 evenings on Illana & Nate’s land. They’re incredibly kind hosts! I was traveling alone and felt totally safe here. I showed up pretty late, and they made sure I got to my site safely. The site was perfect - nice picnic table and even a hammock stand! Watching the planes ascend while the sunset from the quiet of my camp was incredibly special. And of course, the stargazing is a must out here. Will definitely be back if I’m in the area.

Ilana and Nate are fantastic hosts who give off really great vibes. They were super responsive and helpful throughout my stay. The site is located in the grassland, but don't let that deter you; it’s about 400 yards away from the nearest house and offers beautiful, unobstructed views in all directions. The stargazing here is incredible, and you can even see the DIA terminal lit up far off on the horizon at night. Overall, it's an amazing spot for a very good price. I was happy to be their very first Hipcamp guest!

This spot delivered the perfect birthday weekend escape. Tina was an exceptional host…kind, responsive, and genuinely above and beyond in every way. As a solo traveler on this trip I felt completely safe and at ease the entire time, which means everything.
The site itself is a dream… private, peaceful, with a beautiful private beach and one of the most breathtaking sunsets I’ve ever seen, followed by a stunning moonrise and a
stargazer’s sky. The firepit on the beach and the warm (but breezy) evening were priceless. Pure solitude. Pure magic.

1 night at Genuine Homestead
It's a wonderful place to stay! Beautiful setting, everything you need, clean. We were here during a storm and the rain was lovely on the tent (and we were toasty dry inside). Especially loved all the birds in the morning and sweet farm animals.

Amazing hosts! So sweet and nice! My first time taking it out and there so amazing on things and understanding! The land was beautiful the cute little walk trail is perfect at sunset! My dogs enjoyed it very pet friendly! This is a great place to stay!

With pets
It was easy to find, easy to pull in and out, and had plenty of room for big rigs. We had to unhook to be level, but that was not a big deal. The animals are incredible! Our kids loved visiting them. It was a great stop for an overnight on our way out west. Very friendly hosts. I would definitely stay there again on my way through.
