"It's Real Rustic Out Here" This is NOT Glamping, this is the Real Rustic Camping Experience :) You have options to this Rustic Camping Experience here a Yakalo: 1. Pitch your own tent - the whole point 🤭☺️ 2. Stay in one of ours - just bring everything else🏕️ 3 Stay in one of our homestead cabins outfitted to give you a taste of the past - under construction; 4. or try your luck in the Sasquatch Forest hanging tents and catch a glimpse of big foot - coming soon… All sites are near fresh running water from surrounding springs. Get that glowing campfire going or Saddle up to the “Bunkhouse” and “Campfire”, open 10am-10pm daily. Snacks, a zero-proof saloon (coming soon), wood-fired hot tub & sauna are up and running, enjoy games and our soon to open laundry facility. Pull up a bench and stay a while. ***Yakalo Ranch (outfitter private land) is currently undergoing site improvements with Pikes National Forest, however we will accept reservations on a case by case basis.*** Yakalo Ranch a Hike-in, Hike-out experience focused on the core principle of "Leave No Trace" to "Pack it in, Pack it out", hence our motto: "It's Real Rustic Out Here" Beautiful Mountain Ranges, Natural Springs and Creeks, Amazing Rock Formations, Endless Trails, Historic Wells, Precious Metal Mines, Animals: Emus, Elk, Deer, Black bears, Foxes, Turkey, Squires, Chickens, Peacocks, Ducks, Geese, Horses, Goats and an occasional Moose (with Yakalo Mini Highlands - coming soon). Recreational Activities such as hiking, riding, fishing, all while surrounded by wild strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and wild honey right at your fingertips. Our closest campsite to the parking lot and hot tub. This site can fit a 12 man tent perfectly and an additional 2- 4 man tent quite cozily. Wild Blueberries, strawberries and raspberries grow during the spring and summer months on this site.

South East of the property and down Sleeping giant trail you’ll cross the banks of Carsen Creek that originates from several natural springs! Perfect for wading and deeper into Yakalo Ranch, a 5 min hike from the parking lot and next to our “Stonehenge’s Table” Rock formations and group gathering place. A recent spring was discovered at this camp!!!

5-8 min easy hike down Sleeping Giant trail along Carsen Creek. The campsite is right next to our Duck and Geese enclosure we like to call Galilee. This campsite houses majestical rock formations and our grand ponderosa pine cove "where the giants sleep and fairies play."

Take your 1st right down Vulture's Nest Trail past the Hot Tub and over the bridge. Past Blueberry camp on your right and head North West into the property, past Angela Falls, stay right down the trail and 3 min in you will find yourself next to our “Mini Caves” Rock formations known as Aksel Fig.

South East of the property and down Sleeping giant trail, stay left at the first two forks, then right at the 3rd fork, you’ll cross the rocks of the year round creek that originates from a natural spring! Perfect for wading and deeper into Yakalo Ranch, a 8 min hike from the parking lot.
