Stay at Natalie’s!

We have come here 3 years in a row and love it. Great areas to hike in, spot 3 has multiple areas where you can put several tents and outhouse access is just up the hill. Good mix of shade and sun with the trees. Definitely check weather and come prepared for anything (gotta love Colorado!), we had a bit of hail this time! No service, a great break from everything. Thank you Natalie!

Unexpected Hunting Camp

This entire experience and situation could have been improved by letting campers know that hunting is allowed on the same property and within feet of the camping spots so I could have made an informed choice on booking. As well as ensuring that there are no large, several person camouflaged hunting blinds set up in the woods pointing directly at the tent pad area. That was the scene I arrived to when re-visiting this listing. Unfortunately this felt incredibly unsafe. As a single mom traveling with 3 kids I always check the area before unloading them. It didn't take long to discover the hunting blind positioned only a couple of feet from the tree line directly in front of the camping spot. Of course I became alarmed and moved us to a different spot on the property and reached out to the host. I expected understanding given the charity work that this host boasts to do with traumatized women but instead was told that yes, she does allow hunting, but not to worry because it wasn't happening then. I verbalized how unsafe it feels but my concerns were dismissed and told that she feels safe on her own property so there's no reason for me to feel otherwise. The environment was made even more eerie because we were the only campers on the property. Without high visibility clothes, no personal protection, and the human trafficking vibes, I took the 2 hour drive home.

Convenient to get to for a last minute getaway. I usually find dispersed but we didn't feel like fussing with figuring things out. Clean and semi-private.

Our family visited this campsite and fell in love! With the beautiful secluded scenery, clean campsites and extremely helpful hosts, this is a must visit campground! Our kids found deer and couldn’t wait to explore!

We had an amazing time tent (and hammock) camping with our 5 year olds at Natalie’s place. It was so close to Centennial, but it felt like we were deep in the mountains because it was such a serene environment. We spent several hours hiking around the property, and it was beautiful with all colors of fall foliage. We cannot wait to come back for another trip!

Excellent spot. Very peaceful. Directions where easy to follow and the spot was perfect for a quick get away. Will gladly come back to this spot in the future. They were also very quick to respond and help when I was experiencing issues in the app. 10/10

This is a great site for camping with kids, we've come a few times a year for several years. The site is flat and well maintained, it's quiet and the kids always enjoy exploring the rock formation nearby. Helpful that it's only ~30 mins from home in S Denver.

Great spot and very convenient for a quick one night camping experience with my son and pup. Site was very clean when we arrived and the communciation leading up to our stay was awesome. We loved exploring the big rocks surrounding the property. We'd love to come back!

Great place to stay for the weekend! Coming from Denver, only a 40-minute drive, and ten minutes to the nearest store, which was a comfort when tent camping with very young children - who knows what might go wrong! Despite the proximity to a town, the campsite feels quite remote, with excellent mountain views and star sightings. Very well constructed and effective fire pit. Will note that we were at site 1, and there aren't super level grounds aside from the area immediately adjacent to the fire pit. The grade on the tent sites weren't severe enough to bother us as adults, but it was tough for the young kids at times - they'd slide to off a mat in the middle of the night. Something to watch out for if that bothers you!

Nice spot to get away for a night (or three). Feels isolated, but sooo close to anything you might need. The spots are just rustic enough to get the whole experience. Will definitely look at going back.

I love this spot, and will be back to try out the others! Host was so accommodating and helped move our reservation. Don't be like me and think you memorized the instructions. Take a screenshot and save yourself time. As long as you follow the directions, it's super easy to find. Road was easy to navigate in a standard 2wd. Spot #3 has #4 further down the road so you will get traffic if the camp is full. They're far enough apart though that you shouldn't hear or see anyone once everyone settles in. Sturdy, large fire ring, shovel, and picnic table available to use. It's deep woods experience while still being close to the city if you need it.

Site 1 - CampCHERIshed-Camp for a Cause

CampCherished is a quick trip from Denver and has 5 sites that are fairly well spaced. Camp Site 2 was the closest to the outhouse (and it is just that...very rustic, byo TP) and had plenty of room for our teardrop and tent setup. Lovely location, very quiet. Driveway up to the sites was a bit dodgy with the recent rain, but passable. Mother Nature plotted against us with the wind and rain, so we didn't wander as much as planned. Would recommend if you don't want to travel too far to feel immersed in nature.

My family of five really enjoyed camping at Site 5. The campsite is well set up with plenty of room for our three tents with a nice fire pit and large picnic table. There is some shade throughout the day. Our site felt private from the other sites. The property was very green and we enjoyed exploring it. We had no issues getting our mini van up the hill. My kids and dog loved it, so we'll definitely be back next summer!

We stayed at site 2 and it was great. Only trouble was finding the site even with the turn by turn instructions because it is out of order relative to the other sites. I tried uploading a map I drew, but it won't work. Know this: Once you see site 1, go the left, past the next site which is site 5, then the next one is site 2 (just below the cabin). Sites 3 and 4 are on the fork to the right once you see site 1. Overall a nice quiet place. Thanks!

We had a great time at site 5. It was beautiful/private and had nice views! It seemed like there was always some sort of shade. We hiked around the land and climbed. Our six year old loved it! Highly recommend . Wish there was a campfire cooking grate but it wasn’t a huge deal.

Perfect for our large group w/dogs

We stayed at campsite 4 over the 4th of July weekend and it was perfect for our large group! We had 4 cars, 9 adults, 6 dogs and 1 toddler. Plenty of space for all of our tents, cars, and places to hang out. The property is secluded and beautiful. We didn’t hear any fireworks which was great for the dogs. There was a strange infestation of caterpillars that climbed up on everything. There would be hundreds on the tents during the day and we made sure to keep any food up. Just a weird thing. Overall, we loved the campsite, the host was super responsive, and we’d definitely come back!
