Experience a REAL FARM STAY and discover where your food comes from; why not camp at Tin Shed farm? Situated on 100acres of rural land in the Sunshine coast hinterland valley of Crohamhurst. Located approximately 75km from Brisbane and 40 minutes from Sunshine coast local beaches. Close to Maleny and Beerwah – home to Australia zoo. Many other tourist sites such as Mary Caincross Scenic Reserve, Glasshouse Mountain National Park, Buderim Falls, Kondalilla National Park to mention a few. This is a full time working regenerative farm, producing pasture-raised free ranging produce, namely pork, eggs and beef. We would like to share the property with nature lovers who appreciate the tranquil setting of the spacious, creek frontage, level grass campsite. You will benefit from the EXCLUSIVENESS of this campsite. Bring your family and friends or book for a group (this can be done under the "EXTRAS" at check out, each additional vehicle to be added. Fire pits are provided. Please bring your own fire wood. Enjoy a relaxing time around the campfire, take a dip in the flowing creek, or a walk through the rainforest, all while keeping an eye out for the bird life, wallabies, kangaroos and often a shy echidna or two. We encourage you to tune out of technology and to tune into nature, relax and rejuvenate, leaving fully revitalised. PLEASE NOTE - 4WD required. We only accept fully self contained camping, with your own toilet/shower facilities. We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Tin Shed Farm. It was so peaceful and relaxing having the place to ourselves amid the bird songs and the babbling brook. We loved chatting to Caron and Karl about the farm and visiting the chickens and pigs. I’m now considering a career change into chicken farming ;) It’s just a short (and very pretty) drive into Maleny for coffee. Highly recommend. 10/10

We loved Nguni Riverside campsite. Well maintained private space. Nice to wake up to chooks, pigs and cattle. Received a visit from the owner's very friendly dog and a dozen fresh eggs was an added bonus. Thanks Carl and Caron.

Such a beautiful, tranquil spot. Less than an hour from the Sunshine Coast, beautiful drive out there. Chickens, piglets and cows as you enter the property and then you make your way down to a flat, well kept camping area. Fire pit was handy, out door shower used daily. Creek running along the edge of the property way beautiful to explore. Loads of birds singing in the morning.

The land here is sacred. I felt the magic of the Earth, water and starry skies. It was such a pleasure to be welcomed so warmly by Caron and Carl; they are so lovely and accomodating. The camp space is exclusive which is such a blessing to roam freely in nature with such privacy. I really enjoyed rising with the vibrant bird song and being serenaded by the frogs as I went to sleep. The creek was a highlight for me. The sun light dancing on the flowing stream was a sight to be enjoyed. There was a fire pit to sit by at night whilst watching the stars and moon. I highly recommend staying here. Thank you Caron and Carl. I will most certainly see you again soon!

We chose The Tin Shed Farm because we were looking for exclusivity and to really be out in nature away from anyone else and boy did it deliver! Caron was an amazing host, the place was spotless, grass was well kept, and plenty of room for a good size group. It felt like we has 100acres to ourselves and the creek was absolutely gorgeous. We will definitely be heading back here with family and friends. Loved it. What wonderful hosts in a beautiful part of gods country and wonderfully positioned.

Absolutely awesome stay. Caron and Carl were super welcoming. Showing us around the farm, allowing the kids to feed and pat the animals. Couldn't ask for better hosts. The camp site is super private, situated next to a flowing river, the sounds of nature were unbelievable. Heaps of room for the kids to play and no issues with phone reception to keep the kids occupied when we weren't exploring. An absolutely wonderful place to catch a break from city life. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our weekend stay at Nguni Campsite - Riverside. Hosts are fantastic, knowledgeable and very welcoming. The camp site is very well maintained and you have complete privacy all weekend to recharge and relax. The river is lovely to listen to overnight and the birdlife was spectacular. We walked down to the river and explored the lovely sights. Highly recommend this camp! It’s going in my top ten for sure!

Love the privacy and learning about sustainable farming. Definitely recommend it to anyone who appreciate the whole place just for yourself. Caron and her partner are very hospitable hosts. We would love to visit again soon!!

Staying at the Tin Shed is an absolute treat with the whole area to yourself. Big, level camping area, flowing river and total seclusion and relaxation - bliss! Caron and Carl are legends making you feel home away from home.

This was a return trip for us and we love this camp spot, it is a favourite of ours and we’ll be back again and again. It is the perfect spot to relax and recharge in nature yet so close to many of the hinterland towns and the sunny coast. It is a beautifully maintained paddock next to the creek with plenty of level ground and a fire pit for the cooler weather. You will have the camp to yourself and complete privacy. Thank you Caron & Carl for your hospitality.

Totally private fenced off camping area and enough space to kick a footy. Bring all your friends as you will be the only ones in this little paradise. The kids enjoyed playing in the creek and to learn about where our food comes from. Carl and Caron, you’ll see us again.

We had a wonderful stay at Nguni campsite and will definitely be back. The site is a beautifully maintained private paddock with a fire pit next to the creek and is a very serene spot to relax and unwind. Caron and Carl have done an amazing job of creating an eco friendly farm and we thoroughly enjoyed learning about the processes, thank you both for opening up your property to us! We greatly appreciated the gift of freshly laid eggs that we poached & enjoyed and were absolutely delicious.. Thank you Caron and Carl for your hospitality from Sarah & Scott

Our family spent a great 3 nights at this farm stay and absolutely loved it! The location is amazing, with rolling hills, wooded creek areas, and absolute serentity. The farm itself has gorgeous cows and chickens as the main focus, and they are looked after so well it was a treat to see (thanks Carl for the tour, our boys are still raving about the animals and the ATV ride!). On the camping side of things, the dedicated camping area is a huge field that had low grass and plenty of choices of where you can set yourself up. There are a few dedicated fire rings and it's easy to sit for hours beside a huge fire and stargaze. There is a creek that borders the entire edge of the camping area, with shallow rapids and some deeper pool areas (would be amazing in summer). Having this all to ourselves was a real treat and it is clear that Caron and Carl understand camping and what seperates a good spot from a great one. They also went out of their way to make sure we had everything we need and enjoyed the whole experience (thank you for the eggs and timber!) We have done a lot of different camps in SEQ but this is one of our top choices (maybe even the top spot!) due to the privacy, scenery, and quality of the location. We will be back hopefully in the near future.

We loved our experience at Tin Shed Farm. Caron and Carl were so accommodating and were happy to impart their knowledge on organic farming with us. They were amazing with our eleven year allowing her help in egg collection and saying hello to the hens every day. The camp site was beautiful with such amazing fauna and flora along the river and due to the rain the lovely sounds of the gurgling water was very relaxing. We will definitely be visiting again!

We loved our stay at Nguni Campsite! It was private and very peaceful, and a perfect spot to relax by the fire. The kids loved having the space to run around, and the creek was perfect for exploring and rock-hopping. We visited in April, but it would be a great place to cool off in summer. The hosts are lovely and were happy to take the kids on a tour of the farm and to collect fresh eggs from the chickens. Highly recommend this site and will definitely be back with friends as there is ample space to share the site.

Perfect little spot for a night or two away with very welcoming hosts. Well worth the drive to the secluded spot on a creek with a fresh water shower from the properties bore. I will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Tin Shed Farm, would 100% recommend! Love that it is a private campsite and you have the site exclusively. We stayed with a group of family with six caravans and there was plenty of room. The site is nice and flat and bordered by a lovely creek which the kids loved playing in, there were even a few deep enough spots for the adults to cool down in. Caron and Carl could not have been more welcoming or accommodating, even allowing us to come up and have a tour of the farm and chickens which was very interesting, we love what they are working towards! And they even gave us some fresh free range eggs on arrival, perfect hosts! We look forward to our next visit!

The private campsite is on a paddock bordered by a creek. The only noises you’ll hear are from boisterous birds, and the only light at night is from the moon (and stars shine brightly close to New Moon). The gravel road winding around big trees leading to the property adds to the ambiance

Stayed at Nguni Campsite over the Sept/Oct long weekend, wow!…beautiful spot and really awesome hosts in Caron and Carl, they were more than happy to share their love of the land, chooks, cows and their super fit pup, Inja, (hope we got that right). We had a massive campsite all to ourselves, the boys kicked the footy around, explored the creek and scrounged for loose kindling which meant a proper hot fire each night. We were gifted farm fresh eggs on arrival, super tasty guys so thank you. Highly recommend this unique spot for a proper camping experience, just the way it should be!

Lovely place, nice and quiet and have a big paddock down near the river all to yourself. Bought some local firewood and Caron dropped some eggs from the farm down for us! Highly recommend staying

A beautiful spot to getaway. The camp is an exclusive booking so it was nice to know we had it to ourselves too. Our family enjoyed exploring the creek and visiting the farm animals. Caron and her husband were very friendly and kind. Would highly recommend staying

Little slice of paradise

The campground, located in a large glenn-like space at the bottom of a slope, along a babbling brook…. was a picturesque place to camp. Our daughter was able to see some day old baby chicken which was a highlight for her. We had a night of rain and had made an error in not reading the “4x4 vehicle” requirements of the listing, with some very slippery ground we needed a little assistance getting out campervan back up the slope. Caron and Carl were more than happy to assist us by giving us a tow up the hill with their tractor. We would love to return with our AWD and some drier weather to be able to enjoy the little slice of paradise they have to offer.

Wow! What a hidden gem. If I could give this place 110% I would. The camp site is flat, easily accessible, very private, peaceful and super quiet. The creek is a great place for children to play (or for adults to relax) with beautiful sandy patches, logs to cross and smooth rocky sections. The owners Caron and Carl, are incredible people and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were more than happy to share all their farming knowledge with us and the kids loved watching the chickens, helping to move the cows and exploring the farm. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful spot and will definitely be recommending to our friends and family! P.s Caron and Carl’s eggs and sausages are very, very delicious 😋

Absolutely perfect little piece of paradise. Camping area flat, freshly mowed grass and view overlooking the creek. The no noise policy of no generators; no music makes for a peaceful camping spot. Nothing but the crackle of the campfire, noise from the creek flowing nearby and views of the Milky Way at night. Close enough to Maleny and/or Beerwah in case of any errand …. like ice-cream and LPG!l Hosts were extremely hospitable and very kind. Highly recommend this hidden gem.
