Hold it Flats is a 120 acre property that borders the beautiful O'Connell River that has water all year round. Take a walk around the property to check out some of the creatures that have been built out of scrap metal and bush bars that have been built all around the property.
There is nice shady trees, green grass and flat camping sites right beside the river with hot showers and flushing toilets. There is plenty of room and some great tracks for the kids and the big kids to ride their push bikes on. The swimming hole is about 2 meters deep and has big shady trees on the edge. There is also enough room for kids to bring their kayaks and have a paddle along the river.
We have some hiking tracks up around the hills of our property that have amazing views of the area.
All campsites can be provided with their own fire pit. You just pick your spot and we will bring a portable fire pit to you. Fire wood can be purchased at the property. All rubbish must be taken when you, there are no rubbish bins provided.

It’s impossible to keep up with changing environmental factors, photos don’t always represent current conditions.

• Firepits at every site (subject to restrictions)

Our 1 km private driveway is unsealed but fine for 2WD when driven carefully. Please do the assigned speed limits. You can park at your site once set up. For safety, no joyriding or unnecessary driving around the property. Supervise your children at all times.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome under control. We’re surrounded by bushland with ticks, spiders, and snakes — please use tick protection and take normal care.

Stonesthrow is a 106 acre rural property in the peaceful Illinbah Valley. Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses, goats and some friendly donkeys who love to meet new people for some pats and a carrot!
The Stonesthrow Bush Camping sites are close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property. These sites have access to facilities - toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Some sites offer 2WD access yet still facilitate the experience of camping in the bush. THESE ARE THE ONLY SITES THAT CARAVANS CAN ACCESS.
The Stonesthrow Elevated sites are located higher up, with stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by capable 4WD and require you to bring your own sealed, chemical camping toilet and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites.
Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers. Please note, the availability of certain sites is weather-dependent.
We are not a 4WD adventure park. Vehicles must be left at your campsite and NOT used to explore the property. Exploration of the property is welcome by foot or bicycle: 1.2 km from bottom to top.
Due to insurance considerations, no 'day visitors' are allowed unless they have an approved Hipcamp booking.
We are a Leave No Trace campground - ensure what you bring in, leaves with you.

The 20-acre dam is full at the moment (February /March '26) . Great for kayaking or SUP. Still has some weed for the birds!
On arrival, powered sites, please phone our on-site caretaker Dylan 0488 611 706, and he can assist you to find a spot that suits you and your group. Unpowered sites can choose anywhere suitable for them.
We do have internet reception. Occasionally reception can be weak depending on what the network is doing. Generally, it is not a problem.

Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation.
Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples.
Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore.
The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens and chooks around the house paddock. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of cattle and our 2 donkeys or set aside for regeneration.

We are a 10 minute drive from Rosewood and Laidley where you will find cafes, supermarkets, fuel and a variety of other things to enjoy.
Our lovely campground will accommodate swags, tents, campers, caravans and motorhomes. We provide an extensive camping ground which ensures that you will have a large amount of space to set up comfortably. Flushing toilets and hot showers are provided. We offer you the choice of a standard enclosed private shower or the fun of open air showers. We also have ice for sale.
We are happy for you to come and camp on your own or book the entire place if you have an event, large groups are welcome. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required.
Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property.
Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed.
Please note that there is no potable water on site. You must bring your own DRINKING water.
During extreme weather events the property can be affected, so if rain is forecast, please call before heading out.

The Grandchester hotel is a short 10min walk away and offers cold drinks, great meals and friendly country hospitality.
Spicers Hidden Vale is approximately 6km away and perfect for bike riders.
Rosewood train museum showcases steam locomotives and Grandchester scale model rail rides run once a month.

Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise.
Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek branching west of the Mooloolah River to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots/shoes are highly recommended.
There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches.
Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). There are Portaloos located at or near all campsites.
Caravans or motor homes are not permitted due to the steep terrain. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

Running Creek is a lovely flowing creek which is very inviting in summer and the park offers a great bush camp.

Directions: At Rathdowney, turn left into Running Creek Rd and travel approximately 17km south east.
Campers Day Trippers Rules:
The Park is for everyone to enjoy, so please adhere to a few simple
guidelines while enjoying this beautiful park.
By using this park you agree to the following rules.
All vehicles entering the park must observe 10 Km per hour speed
limit.
Fires must be extinguished prior to departure.
Park users must clean up their area when leaving, by taking all
rubbish, including food scraps and disposable nappies with them, so
the next users can enjoy the Park as well. Do not burn your rubbish.
Generator use is restricted to 4 hours per day between the hours of
2pm to 6pm.
Dogs must be on short leads and confined to your campsite at all
times.
No music or noise after 10pm, noise level must at all times be at an acceptable level so as not to disturb other users.
No stock whips, firearms or weapons of any sort, chainsaws, drones
or fireworks allowed in the park.
No use of detergents, soaps or shampoos in creek.
No washing dishes or clothing in creek.
No hitting of Golf balls.
No cricket with cricket ball (tennis ball ok).
No swings to be tied to trees.
Anyone who is non-compliant may be directed by park management to leave the park and if so must leave without delay. Non-compliance
will be referred to local Police and you may face legal action for
trespassing.
Park management reserves the right to refuse anyone entry to and use
of the park.

We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer a longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding.
We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to anyone with the swag, tent, camper, caravan, or motorhome. You must be self-sufficient, with your own toilet, and we kindly ask you take all waste when you go.
For those who prefer the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV.

All sites are unpowered, have ocean views, and come with access to a water hookup and toilets. You’ll also be greeted by our friendly, free-roaming staffy, Dug, who loves meeting new campers! Plus your four-legged friends are welcome too!

We have a selection of beautiful creek side locations where you can enjoy the clear, fresh running water and a selection of other sites only a short walk from the water. Conveniently located just a short drive off the Bruce Highway our sites are not designated, you choose your own on arrival
KIDS UNDER 17 STAY FREE! MAX 2 ADULTS PER SITE! If coming with additional adults you MUST booking another site.
While staying, you will have the opportunity to take a walk into the past to view a private collection of Australiana, including a working stationary, engine display and vintage kitchen with wood stoves.
Access to the property is via a creek crossing so it is advisable to phone ahead if there has been recent rain or rainfall is forecast.
Toilets are located on the property but campers will need their own shower facilities and take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are permitted but must be contained at all times, we also sell firewood at $15 for a milk crate.
Calen is a small cane growing and cattle town with a general store, pharmacy, service station, butcher and the local pub. Zarby's cafe is a short drive away if you would like to dine in for breakfast or lunch in a retro style setting.
Each site fee is for 2 adults and kids stay at no cost.

Moogerah Lakeside Bush Retreat is a family-owned and operated outdoor education and retreat facility located on the shores of beautiful Lake Moogerah in the heart of the Scenic Rim, South East Queensland.
Conveniently located just 2km from the Cunningham Highway, our retreat is set within a peaceful bushland environment surrounded by the spectacular natural scenery of the Scenic Rim. We welcome a variety of groups including schools, church groups, community groups, families and outdoor adventure seekers looking to connect with nature and enjoy the outdoors.
Our retreat offers flexible accommodation options including basic powered and unpowered camping areas, group camping spaces, bunk-style cabins and a fully self-contained cottage, making it suitable for a range of outdoor education, retreat and nature-based experiential learning experiences. The property also includes facilities suited to larger organised group bookings, including bunkhouse accommodation, dining and gathering spaces and capacity for up to 100 guests across the site.
There is no shortage of opportunities to enjoy the natural environment. Guests can explore the lake by canoe or boat, enjoy fishing, bushwalking and outdoor activities, or simply relax and reconnect with nature. Lake Moogerah is well known for its Bass and Yellow Belly fishing, while our onsite bushwalk leads to Striker Point and the gorge waterfall with spectacular views along the way.
For those wanting to further explore the region, Spicers Gap National Park is only a short drive away and offers scenic walking tracks and breathtaking views over the Fassifern Valley and surrounding landscapes.
While we do not currently have a boat ramp onsite, guests can launch their boats at the nearby public boat ramp and utilise the sheltered bay located in front of the retreat.

Flinders peak is a good attraction for those who like a challenge to get to the top for awesome views of the local area.
This can take between 1-2 hours to get to the top
Mount Elliot and flinders peak are in national
Park area. Which is a 5 k drive from our farm
Parking area in the national park ,there are walking trails from the carpark area.
Good for bird watchers and those who like to get outdoors and do some hiking or moutain climbing .
How to get to us? We have two ways in .
Option 1:
Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks .
we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre.
Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended.
Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.
This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey !

If you’re visiting with friends or as a group, please make Booking per site we have areas for groups that want to be away from the main open area if you would like this please contact us so We can facilitate private areas for groups.
•we have toilet and shower facilities available near the camp kitchen up on top of the hill area and rubbish bin provided on site. Which is 150 mtrs from the main open space area.
The camp kitchen area and camp ground can be booked for private functions when available.
Fees apply. This area also has free wifi, foxtel large tv for those who like there sports and don’t want to miss the game.

Ilbilbie Station is 1001 acres. There are no neighbors to annoy, as we reside at the end of Landells Road.
Our property is a small family-owned working cattle station. There is native wildlife, birds and kangaroos. Sit and relax, take a dip in the creek or explore the property.

A good camp near Noosa - It had rained a LOT before I went so the track was very slippy and I did struggle slightly without a 4WD. The lake was pretty, and it was very quiet. There is a basic drop toilet but bring toilet paper! There was also cows which is always a bonus

What an awesome place to stay! Horses, donkeys, goats, roosters, chooks, geese, ducks, camels, all ambling through the campsite, often stopping to say hello. I was lucky enough to see a five day old white donkey doing zoomies. Sunsets were beautiful and the night sky carpeted by stars was breathtaking. Callan was very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and definitely recommend to anyone who loves nature.

A beautiful spot nestled in the mountains, surrounded by green hills on all sides and a lovely creek flowing nearby that is perfect for a swim. Dog friendly, no showers however there are toilets that are kept clean. I've been coming here for years and love it, however there are big groups that also visit so the tranquility is somewhat destroyed - recommend trying to get a spot away from others if you enjoy the quiet, though there is a 10pm noise curfew.

We had a chill, peaceful time here. Property/ amenities were very clean and well taken care of. Tracy is so lovely to pop down and say hi and gave us some wood.
Many families stayed so seemed like a popular spot for fam - if you want some absolute quite, this may not be the one. Very accessible, would rec for beginners/ quick/ easy trip :)

We had a lovely stay at Bares Hideaway. This was our second visit and again it didn't disappoint. This time we brought along friends who also loved it. The facilities are clean and close but the space is nice and spread out so you don't feel like any other campers are nearby. It's a great balance of convenience and seclusion! The kids enjoyed seeing the pigs this time, and the baby lambs were too cute.
