We are right next door to Sublime Farm and Brewery, where you can meet new friends, grab some limes, grab a delicious meal, sample their craft brews, and enjoy live music on the weekends. It is a large block and there are campsites far enough away that you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Our guests are required to be self contained (have own shower & toilet). Our pub toilets are open 24 hours as a courtesy. We also have a basic/spartan shower/toilet block for emergencies/back up. Pets are permitted but must be kept on a leash at all times n campground and at the pub. This is to protect the wildlife and surrounding environment. Welcome to She-oak Hideaway, located in Maryvale by the riverside. The riverside is a peaceful place with two large camping areas and firepits. There are 2 large waterholes suitable for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Down by the riverside you will see Water dragons, turtles, ducks, swamp hens, many birds, occasional Wallabies and Koala. Most afternoons the local Rikali (Australias Otter) can be seen diving for Yabbies. We are an 11 minute drive to the very popular Main range national Park which has some beautiful hiking trails and is the perfect place for a picnic. We have a great country pub close by as well which is a short walk down a country lane. Pets are welcome but please ensure they are under your control and that you clean up after them. Campers must be self sufficient with their own toilet. Rubbish bins are provided for campers and a treated rain water tap is available. Kayaks and life jackets are available on request. 1 - 10 Amp power connection is also available on request. Firewood can be purchased for $15 a bag or $20 for a wheelbarrow full. The creek runs around the outside so there are a number of viewing points to see the wildlife mentioned above. A set of solar lights hang over the firepit area allowing for more light while cooking on our wonderful swinging hotplate BBQ. Site 2 Our newer spot work in progress not so ideal for camper trailers. your situated under our tree line away from the main creek. A smaller paver firepit, plenty fine for sitting around an open fire while watching the stars at night. Swimming in the creek is not recommended. There are 2 large waterholes suitable for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Down by the riverside you will see Water dragons, turtles, ducks, swamp hens, many birds, occasional Wallabies and Koala. Most afternoons the local Rikali (Australias Otter) can be seen diving for Yabbies. We are an 11 minute drive to the very popular Main range national Park which has some beautiful hiking trails and is the perfect place for a picnic. We have a great country pub close by as well which is a short walk down a country lane. Pets are welcome but please ensure they are under your control and that you clean up after them. Campers must be self sufficient with their own toilet. Rubbish bins are provided for campers and a treated rain water tap is available. Kayaks and life jackets are available on request. 1 - 10 Amp power connection is also available on request. Firewood can be purchased for $15 a bag or $20 for a wheelbarrow full. Experience the bespoke bushland boardwalk, meandering along a carefully chosen path and inviting you to tune into a natural harmony of bird calls, rustling leaves and gentle breezes. The bushland boardwalk can be accessed by wheelchairs and prams, and our spacious undercover BBQ Area offers a generous space for shade, rest and wildlife observations.
