We are dog friendly and also wheelchair accessible in the Bush Kitchen and Wallaby Wash House. Bertha the Retro van and Gertrude the Gypsy Wagon are not wheelchair accessible. Mango Lodge is a totally wheelchair accessible timber cabin which has an outdoor bath.

We have a designated area for dog lovers called Dogs Corner.
There is a lovely paddock for the dogs to take in the country atmosphere and located right next to the 40 acre nature reserve with 4kms of walking trails, what better way to Escape, Relax and Unwind. 69 species of birds have been identified on the property to date.
We also provide dog minding services! Photo updates supplied. Cost is $50 per day (add to your booking). All you need to do is supply your dog bed and food. Recently our guests enjoyed a trip to Fraser Island and were very impressed with the service provided. So if you love your fur baby and you still want to have a holiday experience, just come and stay here and we can enhance your stay by giving your fur babies a holiday too.
You may be moved to a different site if your chosen site is too wet. We use Good Riddance products for the midges & mozzies during summer because it works, its non toxic + deet free. We have dry firewood (hardwood) available on the verandah for $15/15kg crate. There are plenty of sites to choose from.
One vehicle = 1 site - more than 1 vehicle can fit on any of the sites.

There's lots of space for the kids to play, kick the ball and ride bikes.
There's a good range of animals and if you're around at feeding time, Josie will ask if you want to help with feeding.

Good fishing from jetty, did better then boat, dog friendly, plenty of wild life, dog can be off leash but under control.
Bad sand flies not bad but a pain (dawn and dusk), boat ramp is dodgy as hell if you have a boat bigger then a tinnie, but two other boat ramps close by.

Very tranquil setting! Ryan and Kellie's place had everything for a peaceful stay. Kids loved the board games, the friendly cows and the walking track including the water hole.
Directions to get to the camp were very helpful. Map of the property was sent to us prior to stay which helped immensely.

A beautiful spot with considerate and thoughtful hosts. The Vet Shed is well provisioned with lots of handy things you’d normally have at home. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. Robyn was very responsive and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely come back with the family and friends.

We enjoyed our stay in a cabin that overlooked a bushy small gorge. The cabin was well appointed, the beds were comfortable and the showers in the facilities were great. The peaceful ambience of the property was well worth the dirt road drive entrance.

Weekend Trip to Idriess Creek
Brad had a great comunication with us, he was easy going and accurate
The donga was very clean and well appointed with air con ,TV, wifi , he also landed us a lighter to start the fire.
He has a beatifull garden with chickens and lots of birds in the trees .
The place is quiet and peacefull.

We really loved glamping at the vet shed. It was very luxurious with all the amenities, linen, wifi, fully functional kitchen, fire pit and bbq. Robyn was very helpful and responsive to messages. We really loved the fire place in the back yard. There was even a washing machine for washing clothes. Everything was so well thought of to ensure we had a comfortable and luxurious stay for e.g the kitchen had Milo, coffee, hot chocolate, cornflakes, pasta etc. The fridge had sauces, milk, cold water. Bathroom was very clean and had top of the range amenities.
The view from the backyard is breath taking with the mountain ranges in the back ground and it was very private with no one around.
The glenlyon dam is near by and there are some fishing spots and river access areas which Robyn had mapped for us.
Robyn’s attention to finer details in making our stay extra comfortable is highly commendable.
Highly recommend the vet shed.

We spent two nights at the cattlemen’s cabin for a family adventure. Had a fantastic weekend - we loved it here. The kids loved the creeks, riding on the property on their bikes and cooking marshmallows on the fire pit. We hope to return again someday.

The cabin has its own little fenced yard so our dogs could be off leash. My husband and I stayed in the cabin with our family in tents beside the cabin. It was fantastic! The property is beautiful and the hosts were welcoming. The road in has a few creek crossings if it’s been raining. Thanks to Ryan and Kellie for sharing your piece of paradise.

We all had a great time during our stay. We had the opportunity to 4X4 and hike around Ryan and Kellie’s property due to no campers. The kids had a blast and enjoyed interacting with the animals.
