You may be moved to a different site if your chosen site is too wet. We use Good Riddance products for the midges & mozzies during summer because it works, its non toxic + deet free. We have dry firewood (hardwood) available on the verandah for $15/15kg crate. There are plenty of sites to choose from.

The story of Clover Hill Ranch-
In 2019 our livestock enterprise was struggling with the ongoing drought. Water was getting very low and we were buying hay from Victoria.
One day while checking stock on our grazing property Bradys (adjacent to Clover Hill Ranch) we looked across the near dry creek and said to each other - if we are going to endure this drought we need to do something different.
So we were able to acquire Clover Hill Ranch which was then being run by the CMCA under a lease agreement to the then owners. Then Covid struck and the CMCA left Clover Hill Ranch.
So we took it on ourselves and it has been a journey managing our four farming blocks Riverleigh; Coleridge; The Shanti and Bradys as well as Clover Hill Ranch.
Fast forward and it is now April 2021 we absolutely love it;
enjoy chatting with Campers about our story and we have even organised a Farm Tour route through all of our properties. The feedback has been amazing.
We are continuously doing improvements to Clover Hill Ranch with many new Powered Sites with town water and new campsites right on the creek. And everyone loves it when we bring out our trailer mounted meat smoker to put on a smoked Wagyu feast!
Campers can purchase our Wagyu and Grassfed Angus beef to try while camping and can even buy some to take home.
Activities available at Charleys Creek Campgrounds, Chinchilla:
include camping; fishing; kayaking; motorbike riding; bird watching
and bush walking.

If you are after a quiet serine getaway on 40 acres, this property is for you. You are 4 minutes by car to Rules Beach where you can drive your 4WD with no permit necessary. You are 2 minutes to Baffle Creek Boat Ramp / Creek where fishing is great. You can Hire a boat from us ( boat license required) or a paddle board on the calm waters of the Creek. We have a filleting table and abundant water to wash vehicles. A Tavern, small convenience store and takeaway food is 10 minutes away at Baffle Creek Town. Turtle nesting on Rules Beach from November to March. Abundant bird life, wildlife and kangaroos. Close to the Historic town of 1770.
We are off the Grid with 12v power, although there is a generator if you require to use the 240v.
We have over a hundred mango trees and a couple of dams. Apart from the cabin, that has facilities and is fully self contained., if you want to camp you must be fully safe contained. We can also a small Jack-off camper that is also available to hire.
There are walking tracks on the property.. Please do not leave pets alone in cabin.

Welcome to GG's Ranch & Retreat Camping area, a unique farm escape on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Is is the perfect place to base yourself and explore all the beauty that the Sunshine Coast Hinterland has to offer. We currently only offer one campsite so you will have plenty of space and privacy during your stay. There is a number of walking tracks on the property and a large billabong where you can enjoy swimming and other water activities. There are Geese who often visit the property who you are welcome to greet and feed. We also have an abundance of bird and wildlife who visit the property and have even been lucky enough to spot a Platypus in the billabong. Our property is home to a number of Horses and we offer Horse based activities for an additional cost (see our extras) so you can meet them and learn some basic horse riding skills. We are just 15 minutes from the popular Eumundi Markets and 30 minutes to Noosa main beach. The site has power and water for your use but you are required to supply your own camping toilet (Please note if you arrive without a toilet you will be asked to leave) and remove all rubbish waste on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under owners control at all times. Campfires are allowed in the fire pit provided and firewood is available at a small additional cost. Please keep your site clean and tidy and respect the natural environment and animals at all times.

Spend your time enjoying all types of water sports - kayaking, relaxing on a floaty or just a lovely swim- and a spot of fishing as we restock the dam every couple years. Some of the most popular catches are Golden Perch (or Yellowbelly) and Australian Bass with Silver Perch also stocked in the dam. My family and i absolutely loved our stay at GG's ranch. We spent four nights over the Christmas period.
The cottages were clean and rustic. Large modern bathroom was a bonus.
Kitchen was well equipped to cook up our Christmas feast. Our grandson and pets loved the wide open spaces.
One of our highlights was sitting on the deck each morning and watching the many black cockatoos flying over.
We would love to return one day.

A beautiful spot with considerate and thoughtful hosts. The Vet Shed is well provisioned with lots of handy things you’d normally have at home. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. I flew from Sydney to spend time with my brother and dad as they both love on the Sunshine Coast. We had booked another place prior and it got cancelled on us the day before as they had doubled booked. My brother and I frantically looked online trying to find a place, when we came across this one. It was even better than what we had originally booked! The place was so beautiful and beyond what we imagined. On arrival Anthony, Cass and Winnie (they're cute dog) greeted us and showed us around. They were all so friendly and made us feel at home straight away. The adjoining cottages were perfect, the land was lush and green with many trees and the lake was full of wonderful birdlife. At night we all sat by the fire, eating dinner and listening to my dad's favourite songs. In the day we went on adventures and came home to relax in the wonderful cottages. Sitting on the veranda with a cuppa and taking in the misty mornings was a great way to start the day too. Thanks for having us, we definitely made some great memories that will be cherished forever!

What a gem of a spot for a couples weekend away! The bed was super comfortable, and I slept like a dream. The cabin was a good distance from any other homes, which made it feel like our own peaceful retreat. The birdwatching was a real highlight, with water birds gathering at the billabong and amazing black cockatoos flying overhead in the afternoons. Such a special place to reconnect with nature and each other. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and soak up the serenity!

The donga was very clean and well appointed with air con ,TV, wifi , he also landed us a lighter to start the fire.
He has a beatifull garden with chickens and lots of birds in the trees .
The place is quiet and peacefull.

It’s a lovely place. Quiet and peaceful. I had a good time disconnected and reenergised. I travelled alone and arrived late at night. Anthony and Cas check on me when passed the original ETA and came to the gate to wait for me in the dark which was amazing. It’s a magical where you can watch the sunrise, sunset, moon rise and moon set.

We really loved glamping at the vet shed. It was very luxurious with all the amenities, linen, wifi, fully functional kitchen, fire pit and bbq. Robyn was very helpful and responsive to messages. We really loved the fire place in the back yard. There was even a washing machine for washing clothes. Everything was so well thought of to ensure we had a comfortable and luxurious stay for e.g the kitchen had Milo, coffee, hot chocolate, cornflakes, pasta etc. The fridge had sauces, milk, cold water. Bathroom was very clean and had top of the range amenities.
The view from the backyard is breath taking with the mountain ranges in the back ground and it was very private with no one around.
The glenlyon dam is near by and there are some fishing spots and river access areas which Robyn had mapped for us.
Robyn’s attention to finer details in making our stay extra comfortable is highly commendable.
Highly recommend the vet shed.
