This gorgeous little cabin is fully a off grid facility catering for couples or solo stays. The cabin is fully contained with all that you need for a comfortable stay looking out over spectacular scenery. It sits nestled in between undulating hills of lush green grass, perched on the edge of a dam filled with water lillies. The spring fed dam attracts the local wildlife and our farm cows visit daily. Our new sunset BBQ area is almost finished, where you’ll be able to make delicious meals. Heart and Soul will not disappoint - a lot of time, thought and love has gone into creating your dream getaway. No pets please.

Welcome to GG's Ranch & Retreat Camping area, a unique farm escape on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Is is the perfect place to base yourself and explore all the beauty that the Sunshine Coast Hinterland has to offer. We currently only offer one campsite so you will have plenty of space and privacy during your stay. There is a number of walking tracks on the property and a large billabong where you can enjoy swimming and other water activities. There are Geese who often visit the property who you are welcome to greet and feed. We also have an abundance of bird and wildlife who visit the property and have even been lucky enough to spot a Platypus in the billabong. Our property is home to a number of Horses and we offer Horse based activities for an additional cost (see our extras) so you can meet them and learn some basic horse riding skills. We are just 15 minutes from the popular Eumundi Markets and 30 minutes to Noosa main beach.  The site has power and water for your use but you are required to supply your own camping toilet (Please note if you arrive without a toilet you will be asked to leave) and remove all rubbish waste on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under owners control at all times. Campfires are allowed in the fire pit provided and firewood is available at a small additional cost. Please keep your site clean and tidy and respect the natural environment and animals at all times.

Such a pretty spot with lovely views and fire areas! Unfortunately we were there during a very wet week. We opted to camp up the top at Bamboozle area, as the drive down to the rivers edge was slippery and daunting with our big rig. Thank god we did, as my mums 2wd needed towing out!!

Beautiful property, the outdoor bath was great and holding the baby goats was pretty special. It was a little disappointing to not have the option to change dates despite the torrential rain, after having spent $460 on 2 nights + extras. For the price it would have also been nice for a little more effort to be made, such as the bath being cleaned and fire pit being brought over to us. Other than that we really did enjoy our stay.

Karen and Nick are great hosts and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay during what was very wet weather by offering the use of an indoor shower and toilet in one of the vacant cabins which we greatly appreciated. The property is located in a central location to many of the great walks and views in the region. We would certainly recommend it as an ideal location to camp and explore the region.

The farm is home to more than 70 animals (All have names) including dwarf goats, cows, chickens and miniature pigs, and our guests often have the chance to see cute baby animals up close! During the day you can enjoy a walk through the pine forest, and in the afternoon experience the incredible sunset vistas from our hill or from the luxurious outdoor bath. By night, sit by the firepit and gaze up at the stars while listening to the sounds of nature on the fig tree swinging chair. The outdoor bathtub is available for hire for the evening with prior notice, and will come with beautiful dried flowers, natural bath salts charged at $60 per use. We recommend our guests bring swimmers for the bath. During your stay you will have access to our outdoor shower and composting toilet with a view. These facilities are shared by 1 other person or if another camper stays, and we kindly request that our guests are mindful of water consumption as we are on tank water. Connection of power and water is an option for extra. Our campsites are also dog friendly as we love having your fur babies visit! However if you are bringing your furry companions with you, please ensure they are friendly with other dogs, kept on a lead and supervised at all times, as our baby chickens and miniature pigs like to explore during the day along with my dog who will constantly want to be around. 4WD Recommended - dirt/gravel road and two creek crossings (through the creek bed) to get here. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Please note: Off Grid Stay - Yeates Road is the only access to Porfiri Rd and the campsites - NOT Stokes Road or Range Road - Porfiri Road (in places) does not do well after heavy rains! So please advise me of your vehicle type in your booking. - Small low profile tyres, sedans and hatchbacks will struggle - Motor-homes cannot make the drive (regardless of the weather) - AWD and 4x4 no problems. Vehicles with lift will have no problems. Our farm features bush and cleared areas on undulating hills. We are 100% off grid with fresh drinkable borehole water The campsite has lovely green grass, access to the pool and a picnic table, and fire pit. Compost toilet, hot bush shower and rubbish/recycling facilities. We are a small hobby farm with Bee Hives, Dogs, Cats, Chickens (a few roosters) horses, cows and a couple of pet pigs. We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling. Please note that Quails Ridge is also home to Diggers Rest - A Soldiers Retreat and should you be a Veteran or a currently serving member of the ADF - please book through admin@diggersrest.org.au attaching a copy of your DVA Card or stating your service number. Situated on a beautiful 90 acre property in the heart of Queensland's Mary Valley just 1.5 hours drive north of Brisbane & 45 minutes west of Noosa. Private location; relaxing retreat wild life in abundence. We have two self-contained cabins as well as plenty room for extra friends and family to camp or park their vans, only can be booked with cabins, (please enquire for details). Fridge BBQ Hot Showers are included in each of the two cabins, also a Queen Bed and Kitchenette. We only allow your booking at one time so it is exclusinve no one else will be there excep you and your group or just your partner. Camp sites are only available when booked Cabins as we dont have separate amenities sorry Pets are welcome but not inside the cabins please. There is a concrete Camp fire area in betweene the cabins to enjoy the evening. Please ensure you follow directions to call in advance (24 hrs) to make arrangements. DON'T USE GPS It takes you on the bush tracks. Go 9kl past Kandanga Hotel then go over Doyles Bridge then turn left into Mitchell creek Road. Gypsy cabin is a boutique off grid cabin usually reserved for family and friends now available to hire to the public for couples, small families and campers. The cabin is situated privately on our hobby farm with the company of cows, chickens, dogs and ponies, dogs are permitted upon request. The cabin is cosy and self contained, it is a single bedroom, single bathroom, with walk in shower, toilet and filtered drinking water at the vanity sink. It also has a convenient kettle, toaster and BBQ area, the cabin has a queen bed but we can include a mattress for the floor for children, tents and caravans are also welcome in the guest paddocks. Guests are welcome to feed the chickens, ponies and cows, and collect the eggs from the chicken barn. Enjoy the serenity and silence of the country with a fire in the extra large fire pit!

One small well trained dog welcome, no dogs on furniture inside the cabin or extra cleaning fees might apply. Enjoy the serenity, forest, creek, fire pit, watch the kangaroos and endless bird life from the outdoor daybed and cabin or a indulge in a relaxing soak in the hot tub. (Hot tub is about 50m away from the cabin, bit closer to the house as solar power would not cater, its private with amazing views. Needs to be pre-booked 24 hours in advance to allow heating) Only short drive of the highway, close to Pomona, offering a wide range of cafes, restaurants, Distillery, Saturday markets, Majestic Theatre, best pub with regular live music and all other essential shops.
